Start Growing Your Own Garden

I don't love gardening at first but when I was out of a job after working in a call center for 4 years I started taking on the responsibility of caring for my mom's garden. My mom has lots of plants and I couldn't count - maybe about more than 50. This is the time that my liking for gardening and flowers started. I started taking pictures of flowers everytime they bloom, at home and during my travels. I realized how plants and flowers need people to take care of them. Once they are well taken cared of they give you something that will make you want to smile and appreciate their beauty. 

If you love flowers and gardening, this book is for you. After many years of watering my mom's plants, I learned that we need to "gently" water the plants/flowering plants (all kinds of plants) at least 20 seconds with a hose everyday to bring out their real beauty and to keep them "fat", big and healthy. If you're using a dipper it should be at least 1 big dipper for every plant in your garden and don't forget that you have to do this everyday except if it rains. 

My mom used to use fertilizers for her orchids but now that I'm the one taking care of them, I don't use fertilizers. They bloom beautifully just the same even with no fertilizer - just plain water and lots of it. 

Once in a while please take a moment to sit down and enjoy the beauty of flowers. Why should you plant flowers? For me there are four reasons: it's good for the soul, it's a stress reliever and will make you appreciate life and the last but not the least reason is that it will make you happy. Have a nice day and I hope that you will enjoy my book!
