Preface

For several years now, I have been writing and coloring — two creative forms of expression that are par-ticularly close to my heart. It was therefore only a matter of time before I felt the desire to design my own coloring book and publish it through my own publishing house. With “Butterflies on Tour ”, this dream has now become a reality.

As a writer, it was important to me from the start that the illustrations aren`t just pretty, but that they also tell a story. Each illustration has a short text that continues the story and takes the you into a fantasy world. I created the illustrations using AI, and then I edited them carefully. They are based on a character design I created, and I kept that design the same throughout. So, I developed the story from scene to scene. This creative process became more vivid with each illustration.

This is my first coloring book, so I went into the design process with an open mind. I didn‘t want to commit to just one style, but rather try out different forms of expression. As a result, this book features illustrations with clear lines over half-colored images to gray-shaded, detailed scenes. For future projects, I plan to de-velop a clearer style, but this debut was intentionally a space for me to experiment.

Unlike my previous publications, “Butterflies on Tour” is a narrative work in the fantasy genre. The story is easy and quick to read, with the aim of allowing you to switch off for a moment – perhaps with a smile.

In this world, there are laughing flowers and mushrooms, dancing butterflies, and magical points of light in the forests. But the butterflies also face empty, lonely landscapes — places they must overcome when they are on TOUR.

I invite you to immerse yourself in a journey full of little wonders, glowing wings, and silent messages with the colors of your choice.

The Magical Forest

Cheerful butterflies begin their journey in a fairy tale forest full of laughing mushrooms and sparkling lights. Their wings glow in the firefly-lit forest as they dance over blooming daisies. This is where their adventure begins, with smiles on everyone‘s faces.

A Stopover in the Meadow Valley

The butterflies glide over a wide flower meadow. Nature is still half asleep, but the first rays of sunlight are waking it up. As they enjoy the peace and harmony of the morning, their wings sway in the wind.

The Magic Path

With every flap of their wings, the butterflies bring new life to the forest. Small glowing lights surround them, and even the mushrooms and flowers seem to wave at them. Their journey takes them through mysterious clearings where hope blooms.

Dance in the Twilight Forest

In the blue twilight, the butterflies gather for a heavenly dance. The forest becomes a stage and the light becomes music. Nature applauds with glowing dots as the adventure conti-nues.

Morning Rays in the Enchanted Forest

The first rays of sunlight make their way through the canopy as butterflies dance into the day. The contrast between the black-and-white flowers and colorful wings underscores the idea that even in gray moments, a little color can bring light.

Pink Clearing of Wishes

A rare sight: Pink light floods the forest as turquoise butterflies prepare to take flight. Each carries a wish for the world, for nature, and for a little more ease.

Night Flight in the Mountains

On a quiet, starry night, butterflies cross a blooming mountain landscape. Everything seems peaceful and dreamlike, as if the world has paused to experience the magic.
