Chapter 1

Alone in a Big Crowd

She’s alone in a big crowd,

She doesn’t want to be seen,

She’s tired of all around her,

She doesn’t like this scene,

She knows no-one beside her,

That’s how it’s always been,

Alone in a big crowd,

She wants to disappear in the wind,

All alone in a big crowd,

Like a rain drop in the sea,

All alone in a big crowd,

She doesn’t want to be seen,

Locked away in her own world,

Trapped with thoughts of her mind,

Locked away in her own world,

Never wanting to be found,

Never had a childhood or a playground,

Never had a friend to receive,

Only ever looked at the cold ground,

Her only colour came in dreams,

No-one ever came calling,

Never held a warming hand,

The comments always falling,

She’ll never find a man,

Scars hidden on the inside,

The tracks carried her tears,

Locked away in her own world,

Hiding away from her fears,

Would anybody notice,

She screams so loudly,

That her silence is only heard,

Hiding secrets on his telephone,

Always laughing at the screen,

she don’t make like she used to do,

He says he doesn’t want what you need,

Cigarettes and alcohol,

Spends all his time washing and preening,

Hardly spends his time at home,

She know he’s cheating,

But you still want him,

She gave her love to the end,

One day he’ll come back, when he’s stopped bleeding,

And his mind has gained back full control,
