The traveling cousins, who meet each year, were sitting in Olive’s living room when Jas had an epiphany of some sort.

She told the girls that she thought the girls could make some money by helping people with jobs that not just anyone would want to do.

We could do the jobs and charge $1500 per job unless it was something minor, like getting a cat out of a tree.

The girls agreed to doing the odd jobs to help people. Jas got right on the ball and put an announcement on the internet. It didn’t take too long before they were in business.

They couldn’t wait to get their first job. They knew they could do most anything when they were all together.

They thought they might need help at times. They decided they would call their friends, the Picklemore sisters. They met them in Louisiana at a haunted Mansion. They were older than us, but they were still spry. The girls made sure the older ladies had a lot of fun.

At the end of the trip, they found out the four ladies were sisters and then they found out the older ladies were FBI agents working undercover. They knew who they should wanted to help them. Evelyn, Julie, Kathy, and Frances Picklemore.

For the wages of sin is death,

but the gift of Godis eternal life in ChristJesus our Lord.

Romans 6:23

Chapter One

The cousins were sitting in Olive’s living room talking and having fun. They were having their annual reunion. They had lots of fun whenever they meet whether it’s off on a vacation, or just being at one of the cousin’s houses. They could have fun wherever they were.

They all live in different states but that doesn’t stop the girls from meeting each year. They were all getting older, so the girls don’t want to miss a meeting. They were getting much older but still could ride any kind of horse and still climb a tree, if needed.

Most of the girls run to keep their energy, vim, and vigor. They were the type of ladies who like to stay busy. That is how they keep their minds, especially their energy.

Jas looked at her cousins, who were waiting patiently to see what Jas has for them today. When she gave the others a big smile, it usually meant she had an epiphany of some sort. All the girls sat with huge smiles.

Jas told them she has gotten an idea on how they could make some money. “We will set up a business of helping people. There have been cases that not everyone will do. We could take some of them and charge $1500 per case, depending on what the case is. If someone wanted us to get their cat out of a tree, we would lower that price. At the end of every month, we split the money. Grandee could be our treasurer. She is good with money. Yep, she can do a lot of damage with money.”

“What do you think about all that?” The girls were smiling so that was a good thing. “We could earn that money by helping people when needed. If it doesn’t work, Houston and Callie could gather the girls, so everyone could have a say on what to do.” The girls always figures something out.

“I don’t think we would get the bad cases, but I think it is worth a try. If it doesn’t work, then we find something else to do.” Houston says with a happy face. She wasn’t going to turn it down for making money.

Olivia raised her hand, ‘I’m in.”

“Me too,” Olive says with a smile.

Alaska says she will give it a try.

Phoenix, Callie, and Grandee agreed to do this.

Jas was smiling at the cousins who thought they would do this thing.

“This was a good idea, Jas,” Callie said.

Jas smiled at her cousins. “I have another thing to tell you. I have got a case I think we should do.”

“You mean you found one so quickly?”

“Already?” Alaska asked. Alaska was a little nervous as to what kind of case it was.

“What kind of case is it?” Phoenix asked Jas and she just smiled.

“I think you would like this one. It has horses in this one.” The rancher told Jas that someone has been stealing his horses.

“We need to vote ‘yes’ or ‘no’. Raise your hand if you do not want to do it.” No one raised their hand.

“All who want to do this one, raise your hand.” It was unanimous. They would all do it. They liked to stick together. It makes for more fun and fun is why they get together.

“Good, we need to go see the owner of the horses. I have the address. Are you ladies ready to go see what is going on with the horses?”

“Yes, this one should be good. I mean how could we not do it — we like horses.

“I thought you would like this one,” Jas said with a smile that covered her whole face.

“When would we start our job?” Jas thought it would start as soon as we talk to the owner of the horses. Jas wanted to get things started as much as the others did.

Chapter Two

“You know, on some of our cases, we may need some helpers,” Houston says. She thought the more, the merrier. “I know we can do the job, but it doesn’t hurt to have some back-up.”

“That’s right,” Olivia agreed with Houston. The more, the merrier.

All the others thought it was a good idea.

“We don’t know anyone around here who might help us,” Phoenix said with a giant smile. She was just happy to be there with her cousins. She knew they all had their guns, so they shouldn’t have any trouble.

The girls were excited about helping people who need help. Grandee is going to collect the money they make and split the money for all of them at the end of every month. “Grandee can still go on our cases with us, but she will need her cell phone in case someone needs help.” Grandee had already put it on the internet, along with her phone number. She thought that should get it started.

“I know who we could get for extra help. We have not talked to the Picklemore sisters in a few years. They might help if they are not going undercover on a mission. We love those ladies. I bet they would be more than happy to help us. They were like mothers to us while they tried to take care of us while at the haunted house.”

“That’s a great idea, but we need to remember they were older back when we first met them. We haven’t seen them in several years, so they have gotten some more advanced in age now. They might not be able to work anymore.”

Jas said she had Evelyn’s number. She will call them and see how they are doing. The girls noticed Jas had tears running down her cheeks. She thanked Evelyn’s daughter for the information. Her daughter always keeps up with things. If her mom is okay, then Jas thinks it will be okay.

Chapter Three

The cousins waited patiently for Jas to hang up and tell them why she was crying. They couldn’t imagine why she would cry, and they didn’t know if they wanted to know. It couldn’t be good if Jas was crying that much. She usually stays calm in a bad situation.

Jas hung up. “This is bad and good. It’s bad they are gone, but it’s good that they went to Heaven.” The girls couldn’t believe what was happening. They all were crying now.

“Oh, when did they go?” Callie wanted to know.

“Evelyn’s daughter said it was four years ago. They all went together.”

No one else could say a word due to everyone crying.

After everyone calmed down, Jas said she wanted to tell a good story that Evelyn’s daughter told her.

The FBI ladies were working undercover in the desert. They saw something up in the sky and it appeared to be coming down from the sky. It landed a few minutes later. The door opened and a ramp went down to the ground. The girls didn’t know what to do or what to say.

“Girls, we can do this together.” After going inside, they looked around and saw some short bald people with huge bright eyes.

“Hello,” The little people said as they were sounding like a robot.

Frances opened her big bag. She stuck her hand in her bag and came back out with her bug-zapper. She walked over to one of the little aliens and put her zapper on the Aliens’ arm. All the girls were laughing about Frances zapping the little aliens. Julie was standing staring at the Aliens with her nine-millimeter. Kathy had had enough. She picked up one of those little Aliens and was twirling the little critter above her head yelling. “How do you like that, you, ugly little turd.”

Alaska had one of the Aliens stuck his fat blue tongue out at her. She knocked the Alien down on the floor and sat on him as she watched her mom twirl an Alien, right after she slapped the little guy who fell in a pool of orange.

The Aliens had enough of these crazy humans, so they escorted the girls down the ramp and on to the ground. The girls walked away, and the Aliens took off in a hurry. Evelyn was talking to one of the Aliens to get him not to kill them. She was using her soft talking voice. The Alien just shook his head. He didn’t know what to do.

The ladies went back to Olive’s house so everyone could get a goodnights sleep. “We will need to talk to our client that has someone stealing his horses. We should go in the morning.”

Callie and Grandee were sleeping on the couch. Something woke them, then they heard their mother softly calling their names.

Callie and Grandee looked up and that is when they saw Frances.

Olive woke up the rest of the cousins. “Hurry, girls. Do you see what we are all seeing?”

The four sisters were standing in the living room in a ghostly state. Everyone in the house were confused. Standing in front of them was the four ghosts. Evelyn said they came to help. They had permission to leave so we could help you with your cases.

“Can we hug you?” Olivia asked.

“No, but we can talk to you,” Julie’s ghost said.

“We see you have your first case.”

“You can go with us.” Houston says with a bright smile.

“There are a few rules. You eight ladies can see us and talk to us, but anyone else can’t. Just you.”

“We would be happy to have your help.” Jas says.

Frances looked at her sister. “Julie, how did you get your gun?” Evelyn was still talking in a soft voice. Kathy got mad at Julie and because she was the pilot of the plane.

Julie had gotten her pilot’s license, and the girls went with her on her first and last solo flight.

Kathy said that Julie could have done better, “Here we stand looking like a cloud.”

“Well, do you think you could have done better?” Julie asked.

“Now, girls, calm down. Not any of us could have done better than Julie. She did a perfect flight until the bird hit the front of the plane.” Evelyn was always helping her sisters. “It wasn’t Julie’s fault. It was that dang ole bird.”

“I wish we could hug you so much,” Evelyn said with a sweet smile. “I would like to squeeze all of you.”

“We are thankful to get to see you,” Frances says.

Chapter Four

The ladies woke to chatter in the kitchen and the smell of fresh brewed coffee. Some of the girls had already taken their coffee to sit on the patio by the pool.

The FBI ghosts were walking around the pool talking and laughing. They loved hearing the girls laugh and having fun. It makes them think of when they were young. “We let the good times roll.”

The girls started talking about the adventures they had when they were all at the haunted house on the resort in Louisiana.

Olivia started laughing thinking about the FBI ladies zip-lining. If someone was afraid to zip-line, the man on the platform pushed them off. “When it was Jas’s turn, the man asked Jas why she didn’t go. Jas told the man she wasn’t hesitating, but that she was praying. Then he pushed her off before she made the jump.”

There were all kinds of things that happened on that trip, and the FBI ladies will forever be in their hearts.

“Let me get this straight, so all four of you went down with the plane,” Jas asked. “WOW! That must have been scary.”
