Introduction

Our mind is the most powerful tool that we can harness to Cultivate stability, success and inner peace. Our thoughts shape who we are and who we will become, as well as influence our physical and emotional well-being. The capability of our mind is far greater than most of us can even begin to imagine. The power of the mind is a tool we are still discovering and just beginning to unleash. This book explores some of the ways our minds impact our lives and how to eliminate negativity and ultimately transition our thought patterns to benefit us. This is well explained in more details, in this book The Power of the Mind.

Looking to unlock the full potential of your mind? Learn how these simple, scientifically proven techniques can help you use the power of your mind to achieve phenomenal success. This book is on the subject of the power of the mind and consciousness. Here you will learn about the power of your mind at the varying degrees of consciousness, as well as Universal Mind and The Absolute—in short, all things related to mind power. Understanding the limitless inherent power of your mind is the first step towards gaining mastery over your inner world and in turn, learning how to purposefully create the life you desire. All is Mind. You do not have a mind, you are mind.

Did you know that your measurable level of intelligence (IQ), memory, focus, and overall brain power has no permanently set levels? And that, there are things you can do to make yourself much smarter, no matter your age? It's true, once believed to be constant beyond a certain life stage, mainstream science has now accepted that we all can upgrade our brain in many different ways.

What then, is the number one method of building a better brain?

Contrary to the widely accepted scientific opinion of decades ago, the recently discovered "neuroplastic" nature of our brains means that our intellectual/ creative potentials are not set in genetic stone or DNA — there are certain things we can do to improve its performance.

So, just like your leg muscles, you can beneficially build the strength and even the size of your brain in the healthiest and most natural of ways. Then, what is the best way to build a better brain? Needless to say, the implications of being able to build a better brain through meditation are immense. Having a super-strong and fit brain opens the door to an incredible array of life-transforming benefits such as emotional Intelligence, holistic well-being and Better memory. In order to build your brain to higher and higher levels, your nervous system needs a workout. Luckily, the neurostimulation from meditation offers your whole nervous system an incredibly fertile atmosphere, triggering super positive transformations throughout your body, especially your brain. In time, your whole nervous system reorganizes and optimizes itself on progressively higher levels, laying a new foundation of neural pathways, opening up access between your left and right brain hemispheres like never before.

This "full brain access" or "whole brain synchronization," as it's known among the scientific community, has the potential to transform your life in many ways, including boosting your brainpower, IQ, memory, and intelligence. Science really has only just discovered the tip of the iceberg regarding meditation's mesmerizing array of brain-boosting benefits. Your brain has two hemispheres, left and right. Left hemisphere thinking is best characterized as logical, practical, and mathematical — while the right brain hemisphere is linked to non-linear, intuitive, abstract, creative, and big-picture focused thinking.

Can you guess which brain-half is dominant for you? Like a natural left or right hand, we all have our strong and weak brain hemispheres. Numerous studies have shown that humanity's greatest thinkers, inventors, artists, and scientists use both brain hemispheres together, in a much more holistic, integrated way. The question becomes, were they born this way, or did they somehow knowingly or unknowingly train their brains to reach such great heights? Is it nature or nurture? The results may surprise you.

Mind power is one of the strongest and most useful powers you possess. This power, together with your imagination, can create success or failure, opportunities or obstacles, happiness or unhappiness. All depends on your mindset. Your thoughts are the main ingredient of this power, and when you add to them focus and emotions, thoughts become powerful and can affect your reality.

The thoughts that pass through your mind are responsible for almost everything that happens in your life. Not all thoughts are equal. Stray ones, which you think once or twice, cannot do much, but your predominant thoughts, which you repeat often, influence your behavior and attitude, affect your actions and reactions, and shape your reality.

As your thoughts are, so is your life. Weak thoughts hardly have any effect, but most dominant Thoughts act as energy. Though subtle and invisible, they can affect reality. Just like the wind, which is invisible but can be powerful, so are your thoughts. Powerful thoughts can create great changes. Thoughts are like a video that plays on the screen of your mind. What you play there determines the kind of life you live and the experiences you have. To make changes in your life, you have to play a different video, one that you like more. You can train and strengthen this power. You can use it to make changes in your life, changing your thoughts also influence other people’s minds. In fact the Power of Your Mind plays an important role in creative visualization and the law of attraction. But it takes conscious effort and a consistent struggle to control your own thought patterns. How can you change your thoughts and channelize them to get positive results?

If you plant seeds, water them, and give them fertilizers, they will grow into healthy and robust plants. Thoughts are like seeds. If you feed them with your attention and allow them to grow, they have a natural tendency to grow, get powerful, and manifest in your life. Your attention, focus, interest and enthusiasm is what makes them powerful. If you show lack of interest in a certain thought, it will not gain strength and would not be powerful.

Most people have it back to front, believing that they feel or think a certain way because of their circumstances, not knowing the Truth that it is their thoughts that are creating those very circumstances, whether wanted or unwanted. By internalizing and applying this Truth, that your thoughts create your reality, you will grant yourself the power to create the changes you want to see manifest in your life. Reality and goal creation is an inside job that is fuelled by the power of your thoughts.

You are a manifestation of the Universal mind. The power of your mind is part of the creative power of the Universe, which means that your thoughts work together with it. The best proof you can have that this works is by using mental methods to make changes in your life. The more you try to change your mind and thoughts the more changes you can observe in the universe around you.

The One Universal Mind is the single, intelligent Consciousness that pervades the entire Universe—All-Powerful, All-Knowing, All-Creative and present everywhere at the same time. Your mind is one and the same with Universal Mind and since your thoughts are a product of your mind, and your mind is Universal Mind in its entirety, it follows that your thought power is also limitless.

Once you truly understand that your mind is one with the Mind of the Single Source of All Power—The Absolute—and that this power is within you, that it is you in Its entirety—that means you have found the true source of limitless powers for which anything is possible. All the power you can ever come to harness comes from within. Accessing the Source of All Power begins and ends by looking inwards.

However, life is infinitely more complex than we can comprehend, and it also inter-connected and inter-dependent in ways that we cannot conventionally understand. We control our thoughts. Our thoughts can be used to change our habits. Our habits control our results. The true source of the powers of the mind is in the transcendent or spiritual area of your mind - you could call it your super-consciousness.

Chapter- 1 Unleash The Power of your Mind

“Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.–”Napoleon Hill

Using the power of thoughts effectively, is an act of “practical daydreaming”. The Greatest Source Of Your Power Is In Your Super-Consciousness. What that normally means is the power of the sub-conscious mind. It is of course perfectly correct that the subconscious is powerful, but only as an operating system. It is powerful in the same way that Microsoft Windows is powerful, our subconscious mind works in the background running 99.9% of what we think and feel and do. But, just like Windows our subconscious operating system has flaws and it may cause failures and "system crashes" due to the negativity of your thoughts.

Our mind is divided into our conscious and subconscious mind. The conscious part of our brain is connected to our senses and the world around us. In other words the information we’re exposed to every single day influences our mind. It’s our subconscious mind that holds our thoughts and ideas forming habits and the things we get emotionally invested in. The thing is, as humans we have the choice which thoughts to become involved in and whether we want those subconscious thoughts to affect us positively or negatively.

A shift in your mindset can be profound for the outcomes you are wanting to gain in your personal and professional life. Your thoughts affect all aspects of your life, whether you are aware of them or not. Every experience begins with a thought. That thought, placed into action, creates a ripple effect that becomes magnified in your life. Have you ever had the experience of deciding to purchase a certain make of car and then all of a sudden that same car seems to be everywhere you look? When you start thinking and acting on what you want then your mind automatically shifts and pulls you in that direction.

Here is the catcher and where people have lessened the chances of a positive outcome, you have to actually believe the thought and action needed to be taken towards the desired goal for this to happen. This is not a stagnant process. It can’t be a superficial thought or a thought that is not paired with effort. If you just place a poster on your wall saying “I am successful” without substance to back up that reminder it may not become actualized. Now if you write down how you have been successful in the past or at the end of everyday you take the action to achieve your success...then you have the proof to back up your statement.

The power of the mind applies to both positive and negative outcomes. If your mind believes you are chronically sick or lacking capability to accomplish a certain goal, you automatically start your day with that bad and lethargic feeling. Whatever is your primary thought pattern you will subconsciously spotlight the reasons why this thought is true. What happens next is you create a feedback loop, reinforcing your primary thoughts because of where you are placing your attention. That is why the practice of rewiring your thinking is key to your success, happiness and good health.

Your mindset is one of the most influential forces moving you either away or towards achieving your goals and even improving your health. With this knowledge comes choice, and with choice comes effort. The effort is by far the most difficult at the beginning. It is okay to ask for support. In fact, asking for support is encouraged. This may mean asking a friend, colleague, mentor or family member to hold you accountable or to check in regularly. It also could take the shape of joining a group where everyone is working towards a similar outcome. Create a structure that works specifically for you and start harnessing the power of your mind.

The Power of Your Thoughts

“Thought is a force – a manifestation of energy – having a magnet-like power of attraction.”–William Walker Atkinson

Mind power is one of the strongest and most useful powers you possess. This power consists of your thoughts. The thoughts that pass through your mind are responsible for everything that happens in your life. Your predominant thoughts influence your behavior and attitude and control your actions and reactions. As your thoughts are, so is your life. Thoughts are like a video that plays on the screen of your mind. What you play there, determines the kind of life you live and the experiences you meet. To make changes in your life, you have to play a different video, one what you like more.

The Power of your Thoughts Is a Creative Power that can be trained and strengthened overtime. You can use it to make changes in your life, and also influence other people's minds. If you plant seeds, water them and give them fertilizers, they will grow into healthy and strong plants. If you feed them with attention, interest and enthusiasm,  thoughts, like seeds, have a natural tendency to grow and manifest in your life, Your thoughts pass from your conscious mind to your subconscious mind, which in turn, influence your actions in accordance with these thoughts. Your thoughts also pass to other minds, and consequently, people who are in a position to help you, might offer you their help, sometimes, without even knowing why.

This might sound strange and unbelievable. You don't have to accept these words, but if you analyze the kind of thoughts you think, and the kind of life you live, you will discover interesting things about the mind. The power of your mind is part of the creative power of the Universe, which means, your thoughts work together with it. You are not only the part of the universe you're a manifestation of the Universal mind.

When you repeat the same thought over and over again, this mighty power helps you make your thoughts come true in one way or another. Using the power of thoughts effectively, is an act of "practical daydreaming".

How to Use the Power of Your Thoughts?

Visualize a perfect scene of whatever you want to accomplish. Put a lot of detail, color, sound, scent and life into that mental scene. Repeat your visualization often, with faith and attention, and your subconscious will accept these mental scenes as real experiences. The subconscious mind does not distinguish between real and imaginary experiences, and accepts both as real. It will start making changes and attracting opportunities, to make your reality match the images in your subconscious mind.

Actions, situations, and objects that you visualize frequently, eventually manifest on the material plane in a natural way. This manifestation does not happen overnight. It needs time, and depends on how ambitious and sincere you are, and how much time and attention you put into this action. You can use this process to change negative habits and build new, positive habits or skills. You can also use it for attracting money and possessions, for promotion at work, for building a business, improving health and relationships, changing circumstances and for practically almost everything.

Pay attention to the thoughts you think. Do your best to reject negative thoughts, and allow only those thoughts that bring good, happy, and positive results.

Let Your Thoughts Create Your Reality

Thought power is the key to creating your reality. Everything you perceive or experience in your visible, outer world has its origin in the invisible, inner world of your thoughts. To become the master of your destiny, therefore, you must learn to direct the nature of your dominant way of thinking that determines your overall mental state or frequency. By doing so, you will be able to attract what you desire in life and attain happiness, peace and satisfaction as you come to know the Truth that it is indeed your thoughts that are the seeds that give rise to your experience of reality. Put simply, thought power is your inherent power to create your own reality.

Your thoughts affect your subconscious mind, which in turn, influences your actions in accordance with these thoughts.

Your thoughts become so powerful that they might also pass to other minds, and affect other people.

When you focus on your dreams and goals, you will attract into your life people, who are in a position to help you with achieving your dreams.

Powerful thoughts affect your life and can affect the life of other people. Be careful of what you think.

This might seem strange and unbelievable. You don’t have to accept these words, but if you analyze the kind of thoughts you think, and the kind of life you are living, you will discover interesting things. There is a correlation between one’s thoughts and one’s life conditions.

Your Thoughts Determine Your Belief System

Everything in your inner world begins with a thought. You may think your beliefs and feelings are independent of what you think but they all started as a single thought. A belief is a thought you repeat persistently, be it consciously or not, until it was passed down to your subconscious mind and became part of the core beliefs of your personal belief system. Even a single thought-reaction to an outside event can be so impressionable that it creates a permanent belief. Thereafter, your beliefs confirm and justify the way you think.

Your overall mental state is determined by your mental diet. In the same way that the state of your body is largely determined by the food you eat, so the state of your inner world is a function of the mental food you consume—what you think. We can say that the term 'thinking', in the context of thought power, does not only refer to what we are accustomed to but also to what we think about certain things or events. All your mental activities—your beliefs, imaginings, assumptions and the feelings they evoke, are the thinking activities of your mind. And together they determine your mental frequency and direct your thought power in their respective directions.

Every effect you see on the outside or 3D physical world has a specific cause, which has its origin in your inner or mental world. This is the essence of thought power. Put another way, the conditions and circumstances of your life are a result of your thinking, or else, your overall mental state. The state of your life, from the state of your finances to the state of your health and your relationships, accurately reveals what you think, imagine, believe and feel.

Most people have it back to front, believing that they feel or think a certain way because of their circumstances, not knowing the Truth that it is their thoughts that are creating those very circumstances, whether wanted or unwanted. By internalizing and applying this Truth, that your thoughts create your reality, you will grant yourself the power to create the changes you want to see in your life. Reality creation is an inside job that is fuelled by the power of your thoughts.

The greatest mystics and teachers have long told us that everything is energy, a fact that is today undeniably confirmed by modern sciences. Albert Einstein said that "everything is energy ".  Energy can neither be created nor it can be destroyed, it can be transformed from one object to another. Your thoughts are also energy. Invisible to your physical eyes, but very much alive with energy. More specifically, the first of the Universal Laws, the Law of Mentalism, tells us this energy is mind or consciousness. All, therefore, is Mind.

Your thoughts and imagination determine whether you fail or achieve success. They determine the events you attract into your life and the people you meet. You can have more control over your life when you know how to control this mental force and how to use it effectively so you can focus your attention to visualize the life you want.

Understanding Your Mind's Influence

Your mind is more powerful than you can imagine, and most of us take it for granted. We believe we aren't in control of what we think because our thoughts seem to fly in and out all day long. But you are in control of your thoughts, and you become what you actually think. And that little kernel of truth is the secret power of the mind. It's really not a secret after all. The power is available to every single person to utilize for their own advantage, including you. And it's free. "The secret" is that you are what you think, feel, imagine and dream. You become what you think about. You can create the life you want, simply by thinking the right thoughts.

Use Your Mind Power to Improve Your Life

We are creatures of habit. We tend to follow the picture in our minds created by our parents, our neighborhoods, our towns and the part of the world from which we come from—good or bad. But we don't have to be the creatures of our circumstances. We each have a mind of our own, capable of imagining life the way we want it. We can say yes or no to the million choices we each encounter every single day. Sometimes it's good to say no, of course, or we wouldn't get anything at all done. But the most successful people say yes to life overall. They are open to endless possibilities. They believe they have the power to make changes in their lives. They aren't afraid to try new things or to fail.

In fact, many of the most successful companies reward people who have the courage to try new things, even if they fail, because the things we call failures often turn into extremely successful things.

How to Use the Power of Your Mind

Start imagining your life the way you want it. Create a picture in your mind and think about that picture steadfastly all day long. Believe in it. You don't have to tell anybody. Have your own quiet confidence that you can make the picture in your mind come true. You will start making different choices in line with your picture. You will take small steps in the right direction. You'll also encounter obstacles. Don't let these obstacles stop you. If you hold your picture of the life you want steadfast in your mind, you will eventually create that life. What have you got to lose? Close your eyes and start now. Exercise regular meditation to think about your aims and goals in life. You will become what you think about.

The mind is probably one of the most important assets we as human beings have. It’s a very powerful tool, when used in the right way to produce phenomenal results. Having the right mindset is crucial on the road to success, as it determines how you perceive life and the world around you. It’s like Paul Arden once said: “The world is what you think of it. So, think of it differently and your life will change.”

The things we put inside our heads will ultimately influence the way we behave, do things and feel about certain things in life. Most people don’t know this because it all happens subconsciously. When looking at some of the world’s most successful people like Mark Zuckerberg, Musk, Tony Robbins, Gary Vaynerchuck and LeBron James, you might get the feeling that they’re super humans with unlimited talents and infinite energy. The truth however is... they’re all simple human beings just like us.

In fact, they are just ordinary people like you and me. But after listening to Gary Vee’s podcasts, watching Tony Robbins’ shows and reading about their life stories, it becomes very clear that almost all successful people have an unconventional way of thinking of things. They have developed a certain mindset, making them winners in life.

Most of us want to be winners in life as well, but how can you develop a winning mindset?

1. Focus

Focus is probably one of the most important factors when it comes to building a winning mindset. Things you pay the most attention to are the things that grow into your life. So, focus on the right things; things that make you happy, your goals and your dreams. There are two kinds of people in life; matchers and mismatchers. Mismatchers are people who focus on all the negative aspects in life; the drama, the misery, and the difficulties.

Most people tend to focus on things they don’t want to happen. They ‘don’t want to be late for work’, they ‘don’t want to miss that deadline’, they ‘don’t want to be unsuccessful’. But by putting the emphasis on the negative, you’re actually more likely to end up just in the situation you wanted to avoid. The things you fear about eventually happens in life.

Matchers, however, focus on all the positive aspects in life, the opportunities and the beauty. This way, they allow those things to grow into their lives which matter most, leading them to more opportunities and happiness simply because they’re focused on it. Focus on the things in life that you want to happen and where you want to go in life, and you might get awfully successful results.

2. Take the Shot

You’re at the basketball court, playing the final game of a big tournament. It’s the upset of the year. Your opponents are up 87 to 85. You intercept the ball and dribble it all the way down the court to their basket with only 10 seconds left on the clock. The buzzer can go off at any time now, so you can either pass the ball to a teammate, or take the shot yourself. What do you do? You take the shot yourself.

The ball can either go in, making you the hero of the game, or it can bounce off the rim, making you responsible for losing. But in life it doesn’t really matter whether your shot goes in or not. What matters is that you took the shot. When everything is on the line and you have the chance to either take a shot, or let someone else do it... just take your shot. This way, if you are going to win or fail, it’s going to be at your terms. It’s all up to you. If you have an opportunity in life, you have to go for it. You have to take the shot to build confidence that you can do it on your own.

3. Step out of your Comfort Zone

It’s a comfortable place the comfort zone; no risks, no anxiety, nothing unknown. But the thing is, staying inside your comfort zone, won’t get you anywhere. And if you are happy staying where you are, that’s fine. But if you want to move forward and upwards in life, you have to step out of your comfort zone occasionally. You have to test your limits sometimes. Pushing outside your comfort zone is a way to improve yourself, since a stronger, better, and tougher version of yourself lies outside that boundary. So, be bold and brave enough to break down that barrier and take risks in life.

Yes, taking a risk is very scary, especially when there is a lot at stake. That’s why it’s not surprising that most people step back into their comfort zone as soon as things get scary. It’s also not surprising, however, that most people aren’t as successful as they might want to be.

The truth is that many successful winners in life got where they are, by stepping out of their comfort zone and by taking risks. Taking risks helps you to overcome your fears. And yes, you’ll probably make some wrong decisions, have some difficult and dark moments, but so do all the winners in life. Ultimately you just need a couple of risks that work out in life... that will make up for those that didn’t.

So, if you’re looking for success, step out of your comfort zone, because that’s where you will find true success.

4. Think Positive

––––––––

You are what you believe. The way you think and self-communicate is crucial for your state of mind and how you feel. There are times when you can be self-destructive, simply by believing that you’re worthless or thinking that you can’t do anything right. These beliefs and thoughts give you a pretty bad feeling about yourself, and probably lead to even more self-sabotage.
