The Nexus, which tells the story of the inner quadrant, the so-called Royal Quadrant. And The Sovereign, which tells the story focusing on the Royal Sector. PROLOGUE

The story of this book takes place in the Aura System, the Gurahl Type system of the Aura Galaxy in the Crystal Sector in the Earth Quadrant. Later books will include the Celuria System, the Gurahl Type system of the Celuria Galaxy in the Fire Sector in the Fire Quadrant and more places from the outer, Elemental Quadrants.

A Gurahl Type System is an extremely complex and large star system with a special type of sun in its center, that is also the center of the appropriate Galaxy, it consists out of four different layers, each containing a number of inner and outer planets, circling around a central sun, that is actually a white hole. It can only exist in the Magic World. In the world of mortals, such a system would collapse in a very short time due to the gravitational conditions.

Gurahl type systems are extremely rare, there is just one in a galaxy of the Gurahl type, galaxies of this type are very large as spherical galaxies with a diameter of a million light years, but there are only a few dozen of this type of galaxy in our universe. In addition there are other types of magical system types like the Trinity Systems, all of which have habitable planets as well as so-called inner worlds, also called inner layers. All of these inner worlds are also habitable. They do not look much different than the surface, at least on habitable planets, just a little smaller.

The size of the planets and especially their surface gravity would not be possible in the mortal world. This is only possible in the Magical World. The gravity on habitable planets' surface layers and in all inner layers in the Magic World is between 0.8 G and 1.2 G, even if the planet is as large as Jupiter.

A Gurahl Type System has several Gurahl Gates, something like a wormhole that connects it to the next magical system on the first layer of primary transitive worlds in this galaxy. This is possible because such a galaxy has a white hole and not a black hole in the center of the galaxy. A white hole is a special type of magical sun that creates matter, but this requires the help of living beings that live on the planet's surfaces and inner worlds. All suns in the magical world are white holes, together they form a so-called white hole cluster that stretches through the entire galaxy.

We are currently in the beginning of the third universe, someone recently pulled the plug on the second one and only the magical world, which exists together with the celestial world and the demon world within a magical crystal that stretches through the entire universe, survived the catastrophe.

However, all inhabitants of these worlds were evacuated into the seal, an area that has vast amounts of extra-dimensional space, because the magical background radiation in these worlds rose to such a level shortly after the end of the second universe that all life that remained died, it was so high that this energy partially solidified under its own pressure, although even in liquid form this is too much for even the toughest individuals.

Just like radioactive radiation, magical radiation is also harmful to the body from a certain point onward. In contrast to radioactive radiation, which does not occur naturally in the magical world, the level of magical radiation that can be harmful varies from individual to individual. In most parts of the magic world, however, the magical background radiation is so high that a normal person from the mortal world would die from it within a few weeks. For most inhabitants of these worlds, however, such high background radiation is exactly what they need to feel comfortable. Some races are so dependent on it that they would literally perish without it.

In the second universe, there was the Trinity Alliance, a civilization made up of billions and billions of worlds that had joined together in a loose alliance. The Trinity Alliance controlled the seal, at least one area of it. Other areas were controlled by various types of divine beings. In the course of the recreation of the universe, the remnants of the Trinity Alliance also had to give up control of these areas. However, their function for the descendants of the survivors would be retained, only that various divine beings would now take care of the school education of the young people.

In addition, the Trinity Alliance took the destruction of the second universe and its re-creation as the third universe as an opportunity to restart their civilization, of course at a certain level of development, and some essential rules were also in place for the new era.

Almost everyone who was able to escape the catastrophe was reborn within the seal in order to get a fresh start in the new universe. In addition, after completing their training, they were sent to various planets and inner levels in the magical world to enforce the rules that had previously been agreed upon in the various worlds. They also had laws that were written for such a case. The Worlds had already been repopulated, at least some of them. It is also thanks to the divine beings in the various regions that life has returned to these worlds.

The time in which this dispatch takes place will also be the start of the Imperial Calendar. However, the universe is currently a patchwork of different areas that operate on different timelines, which means that the connection between these worlds is only possible to a limited extent at best.

Therefore, stabilizing time is one of the other tasks that the people sent out had to carry out. However, they would also be given the right tools to do so. The imperial gates that connect a world to the seal also ensure that time is stabilized.

When the worlds are completely synchronized the next time and in a stable state, the first age in the Imperial Calendar will begin. We are currently in the Initial Age, in the Aura Galaxy this age is indicated with the letters eIE, which stands for Earth Initial Era. For easier overview, the years before the start of the imperial calendar are indicated with BeIE. In the Imperial Calendar the year starts on the 1st of August. That and a few international holidays are the only difference between the Imperial and the Gregorian calendar however.

Furthermore, the Trinity Alliance was controlled, or rather held together, by a type of demon. The Sirens. In addition to the Siren race, female angels and the demon type of Succubus also belong to this racial family, which were usually referred to as Sirens or Succubis.

There were hardly any differences between these individual types anyway, they were all women and there were only minimal differences in their abilities. Sirens cannot have male offspring, but angels and Succubis can.

If they lose control of their own magic at some point, it is always a death sentence for Sirens, but angels and Succubis can still survive if they are rescued quickly enough.

The daughter of a Siren is always a Siren herself, and in the case of angels and Succubis, she could be a Lillim, who are mortal.

All of them have a basic magic weakness, which means that they could not generate this type of magical energy themselves and are therefore dependent on taking this type of magic from others. They do this in a fair trade thanks to their protective wings, they suck magical energy from the men they sleep with during the act and are able to transform it into basic magic, so for most it is a win-win situation. The siren had eaten and the man had fun.

Basic magic is also essential for life in the normal world. A siren can get the basic magic she needs from other sirens via a magical network that they also need to raise their children, among other things. Angels and Succubis do not have this network, as their children achieve the same magical strength as siren children in other ways.

Last but not least, Angels and Succubis use the demonic aura as their standard aura, while sirens use the Sirenic Aura for this. Otherwise, the only differences were in the form of the element that the respective siren, angel or succubus used as their primary one.

The solar systems in the Magical World are all located at nodes in the crystal that permeates our entire universe. Without suitable portals or a very advanced jump drive, it is impossible to travel between the different clusters of systems, because at some point the crystal is reached and without a suitable portal or drive this is an insurmountable obstacle.

The ships of the Archangel class are usually connected to such a jump drive in addition to a modern sub-light drive, and these ships also use extra-dimensional technologies that were developed at the end of the second universe. Because of this, despite their short length of just under 300 meters, the maximum length of a frigate according to imperial standards, there is enough space in these ships to take more personnel with them than in a 1.5 kilometer long battleship.

One last thing before we start with the story, almost all characters that have a name, also have a character illustration and a small introduction text together with some statistics in the companion book, the Library of the Elements – Book One. CHAPTER 1 – BEGINNINGS

An Archangel class ship enters the Aura System via the temporary activation of one of the sleeping Gurahl Gates. It then makes way for the planet Aura, a planet that is in its form not just similar but almost identical to our earth and just like the other earth type planet is cursed. Having arrived at the planet, the ship lands close to a small village close to the prime magical pole, the village would later develop into a city by the name Chang-An.

The ship then disappears and a young woman takes its place, not long after another person appeared out of thin air next to her, then another and another until the group was 80 people strong. Since the girl that appeared first was actually a Siren with Foxian blood, she was called Arisha Lynn, the curse on the planet was broken as soon as she touched its surface. After everyone was assembled, the group split up, one part started to walk in the direction of the village, which was North of them, the other three went west, south and east.

The people that left the place mingled with the local population, helping them to prepare for the calamity that was about to come in a few decades, while educated people how to help others to do the same, these were then sent around the world, sometimes with the help of Arisha and her spaceship. Thanks to their help, more than 75% of the population survived the calamity, however many were changed during it.

As such many Elves became Drow when their magic went haywire. Also all the other races aside from Elves, Myars and Humans were the result of a change during that calamity. Most of these were transported into the Inner Worlds, to enable them to live in peace and have better chances for survival.

Only Elves, Myar, Humans, Drow, and Kitsune remained on the surface, but not all they could also be found in the Inner Worlds, at least in some. The whole thing took centuries to finish, so some members of other races might have been overlooked on the way.

But life went on, in peace as in war between the individual tribes of humankind. One should explain that in the vocabulary of the Sirens, Human is meant for all humanoid races that are genetically compatible to them. So they don’t differentiate between Elves, Kitsune, Drow or regular Humans in that way.

Then thousands of years later, in the year that would be known as 2874 BeIE, some unwanted guests appeared. On the Primary Magical Pole, a portal appeared and a group of Elves came through it. They immediately started to construct a permanent portal and once it was completed more and more Elves came through it, bringing people and material to conquer the lands and enslave the people that lived on it. They also started to build a small city at that magical pole. That City would later become the regional Capital of their Empire, Chang An.

51 Years later, the Elves had almost conquered the whole planet, except for a small pocket that still managed to hold themselves against the large superiority of the Elven forces, so it would only be a time until even the last pocket of resistance would be conquered and its people enslaved.

To prevent that, Arisha Lynn loaded as many people as she could inside her spaceship, the Foxian and with them left the planet. With the technology she had available and the materials she still had inside her cargo hold, It was possible for them to build the first colony inside the Asteroid Sphere that surrounded the inner planets while the elves started to conquer the other planets in the inner planetary system thanks to their portal system.

Over time, more and more colonies were built in the Asteroid Sphere and luckily the elven portals could never connect to one of them, only to habitable planets. And as such, the Elven Empire expanded in this system to all habitable planets and also the inner worlds in the inner planetary system, basically conquering everything there, even the habitable planets and the Inner Worlds in the outer parts of the system.

Then in the year 0 eIE, on the 31st of July, the Day of Endings in the Imperial Calendar, The Elven Portals suddenly stopped working, resulting in shattering their Empire into millions of pieces. Among these pieces were the individual parts on the different planets and it did only take a few months until even those parts fell apart, since without the might of the empire, the small regional lords did rise up, trying to become the leaders of their own Kingdoms and Empires.

The Elves had long forgotten about the people that once fled with the help of Arisha Lynn, and because their communication was dependent on the Elven Portal System, that fell into disarray as well. That also reinforced the falling apart of the Elven Empire, even though the Elven Empire had other communication technologies, they weren’t implemented in the Aura System.

Thanks to that a few years later, what was once a regional part of a different Empire, were now several hundreds of individual states that fought for the best places, and resources.

The Drow were almost extinct on the planets, since the Elven Slave Mark prevents the Drow Curse from being given to the children, as such only the first generation of enslaved Drow on the planets were alive, along with the Drow of the colonies, where they could live as free people.

CHAPTER 2 – ENSLAVED

While the Elven Empire fell apart, a pregnant and naked Kitsune woman was found in Beijuan. When she awakes she finds herself in chains and with the Elven Slave Mark, but also that she must have been changed into a Succubus as part of that spell that transported her here. It must have been what that voice meant when it said, you will have to pay a price. Also found out relatively fast that she was pregnant, probably part of the price as well. Something like that wouldn’t be the first time if the stories of eld are true, or at least half of it.

Her name was Cynthia and she was brought into a slave colony, in which pregnant slaves that were still state property would give birth to their children and could raise them at least until they became of age, while serving the military as pleasure slaves.

When Cynthia’s daughter was born, she was born without a Slave Mark, but thanks to the elves finding out about that she was immediately enslaved by giving the Elven Slave Mark to the child.

Her name was Liandra and while she grew up, her mother became pregnant again, against her will. The commander of the local military garrison found her to be worthy to bear his child, so he forced her with the power of his Slave Mark to become pregnant, but he did die before the child was born thanks to the lasting conflicts within the Elven nations.

Cynthia gave birth to her daughter Myra on February the 20th, 5 eIE and was born with the Elven Slave Mark. She was able to raise her daughters without any more problems but on the 20th of May in the Year 13 eIE Linadra was taken away from her, the girl had become of age according to the Elven laws.

Lynadra was taken to a training facility where she was trained as a pleasure slave, then she was sold to the King of the Elysia Kingdom as a birthday gift for his youngest son. She was treated horribly by her owner.

Myra and her mother were brought to the same facility to be trained 5 years later, when Myra was 13 years old. Myra was sold to an Elven Noble that terribly abuses her and sells her as so-called “living meat” a few years later.

She gets bought by a different Noble who has contacts with a Resistance movement who is connected to the colonies in the Asteroid Sphere. For the repeated services that noble provides for the resistance, that resistance member agrees to ship Myra to the Serenity Colony where her body is restored, the Noble takes care of her mind by magically wiping her memories, in a special method called Soul Torture. There the memories get stored in a Memory Fragment that gets broken out of her soul. He tortures her to an almost dead state and lets her body be restored four more times and each time creates a new Memory Fragment out of her soul in the following years. The noble learned how to do it at a deal he made with a Devil, along with the necessary powers to do so. In addition he could use the Memory Fragments to torture her and other slaves without leaving physical marks.

Two years after her sister gets sold to that Elven Noble, on the 7th of January in the year 21 eIE, Liandra almost gets tortured to death by her owner, who believes she is dead and dumps the body as Trash in a garbage dump. There she gets rescued by Syrana de Elysia, the older half sister of her former owner. Syrana also has the Elven Slave Mark like Liandra. Syrana and her mother both got that mark as punishment, then beaten almost dead and dumped as trash. There they were able to live at the edge of society with other outsiders.

Almost half a year later, the crown prince of the Elysia Kingdom learns that the slave he dumped as trash is still alive, and what’s even worse, together with his older half sister. So he sends the military to recapture them and other slaves that were hiding among the outsiders. Syranas Mother dies during the attack of the military against the people at the edge of civilization, while Liandra and Syrana along with a number of other slaves were captured again.

The Prince sells most of them, all except Liandra and Syrana to be exact to a Devil for the knowledge of Soul Torture and how to restore both body and mind of the slaves he would be tortureing almost to death. He then uses the knowledge he gained on the two slaves he kept. Turning them into living dolls that were just there for his sick pleasures.

CHAPTER 3 – ASSASSIN

“Do you want to see your mother again?” A mysterious voice asked and continued with “I can send you to her, however it will be dangerous and it’s only in the vicinity, you have to find her yourself. I’ll expect your answer tomorrow.”

Then Lyria Lynn awoke, remembering that dream and wondering if it was real. But the chance to see her mother again was like a dream. After all, most children like her would never again see their parents again. Lyria was after all born in a special Sanctuary, where all children were born anew into this world, their fathers of all the children were a few gods or demons who gave up their divine essence to be that for millions of children at the same time. The mothers on the other hand had so-called field-bodies, enabling them to become a different race for a while and have a child in this form, after the children had gone to the Imperial School, they would then prepare themselves to be reborn as well, in the next wave of children. As it was written in the laws of the ancient civilization for the case of having to restart their civilization when something happens to the universe.

And that did happen not long ago. The second universe, where that civilization had its largest extent, spread over billions of light years with several dozen gigantic galaxies and hundreds of smaller, all of them were light hole galaxies along with one transitive system in the surrounding black hole galaxies. Even with the most advanced engine systems, it took more than 20 years to travel from one end to the other, only the Stargate or gates that worked in similar fashion like the Gurahl Gates, the journey took several weeks.

Now only a small fraction of the universe remains, the Magic World, with the Celestial World and Demon World to be precise, which was located inside a crystal that spread through the whole Universe, the Star Systems of the Magic World were located at the nodal points of that crystal, while the outside of that crystal is inside a gigantic time bubble where the Mortal World grows into a stage where it could support life.

In both the Magic World and Mortal World, or combined called Normal World, the Earth, that was cursed ages ago, was used as a seed for life in the universe. Each of these earth-type planets had to be freed from its curse individually, and a large number of Sirens was sent into the universe to do exactly that. Lyria’s grandmother, Arisha Lynn was one of these.

Lyria should depart for the Aurora System tomorrow evening, but if that offer she received in her dream is real, she may choose to go somewhere else. But should she take that offer, if it was real, that is. She pondered about if she should or if it was even real, for the whole day. Then she came to the conclusion that she would accept that offer, if it was real.

So she went to bed, this time however not in her nightgown but in her regular clothes, then she fell asleep and it didn’t take long until the voice appeared again, “Did you make your choice?” it asked.

“Yes.” Lyria replied, “I’d like to take your offer, so what do I have to do?” and the voice then said, “Go through this portal.” As the voice said that, a portal appeared before her, “Good luck my great granddaughter.” The voice then spoke and Lyria went through the portal.

The next thing was that Lyria stepped out of a portal in the Forbidden City, the palace in Chang An. And as she made a look around she saw a guard, as she approached him to ask for directions, she was immediately arrested for trespassing. She didn’t know where she was, especially that this was the Imperial Palace of one of the largest Elven Nations in the System.

A few days later, she was publicly sentenced for trying to assassinate the Emperor. She was sentenced to be enslaved, trained as a pleasure slave and then would be sold at the slave market.

CHAPTER 4 – IMPERIAL ARCHANGEL

Less than two weeks after Lyria gets sentenced, a Siren’s Gate, a gate in space similar to a Gurahl Gate, activates and an Archangel Class ship comes through it. It was on the Day of Beginnings, the 1st of August in the year 26 eIE. The gate deactivates after the ship is through, falling back into its sleeping state. The ship sent out a ping at the old Imperial frequencies and received an answer from one of the colonies.

“I bid you welcome in the Aura System.” The message said, “Please come to these coordinates in the Asteroid sphere, and avoid the planets as much as possible, because they are dangerous right now. I will explain everything once you are here and I’m going to await your arrival.”

“Dangerous?” Erisha Crystal said, sitting in the captain’s chair on the bridge of the Imperial Archangel, “I’m interested in what danger would await us there, but for now let’s follow that invitation and see what awaits us.”

7 days later, the Imperial Archangel arrived at the coordinates, but there was nothing there, except for asteroids in the vicinity. Then several hours later, another Archangel Class Spaceship arrived at the coordinates, sending a message to the Imperial Archangel.

“Sorry for the wait.” The woman on the bridge, Arisha Lynn, said in that message, “We weren’t sure about your time of arrival and could not be completely sure about your intentions, that is why we had to do it this way. If you please open a com channel so we could talk face to face?”

“Open a com channel and contact that ship.” Erisha then gave the order, a few seconds later a video connection between both ships was established.

“Thanks for agreeing to my request.” The woman on the other ship said, “I’m Arisha Lynn and this is my ship, the Foxian. May I have your name and affiliation?”

“Princess Erisha Loren Light Diamond of the Crystal Royal Family, the Crystal Queen from the 13th Tribe.” Erisha then replied, “You can call me Erisha Crystal, I’m here with my people from The Seal. Trying to rebuild the Trinity Alliance even though it will probably go with a new name this time. As such we have a number of materials and experts on different fields along with the most recent version of the Imperial Standards, in its extended version. In addition am I right in the assumption that you are the Siren that was sent here to break the curse on this system’s earth type planet? If the answer is yes, then I have a gift for you from The Chapel.”

“The answer to your question is yes.” Arisha replied, “But with that as your reason for being here, please follow us, we will guide you to our colony, the trip will take a few hours.”

“We will follow you then.” Erisha then said. “Lieutenant, follow the Foxian.”

Both ships made it through the Asteroid Sphere to the Serenity Colony, where both ships made port, then the people departed the ships and once everyone had departed, both Arisha and Erisha appeared in place of their ships.

Arisha then guided Erisha to her personal quarters, where they had the time and space for Erisha to give Arisha the gift she had for her.

“Before I give you this here.” Erisha said as she produced a tiny box with intricate details, “There is something we should talk about. You should better sit down for that.”

“So what is it you want to talk about?” Arisha asked as she sat down on her bed, “You can also sit down next to me, it’s easier than standing all the time.”

“Thanks, I will take your offer.” Erisha said, “It’s about your parents. The truth is that both of them were Divine Beings that made their last holiday in the Mortal World that time. Both of them are also my parents, that basically makes you my older sister. I have the necessary documents for that here, you just need to sign them to become an official part of our family.”

“I can understand why you said I should sit down.” Arisha said, “That’s quite a lot to swallow, but if this is true then could you also tell me what happened to my daughter Cynthia? Since such a decision would also affect her.”

“About that.” Erisha said, “She disappeared 38 years ago, as well as her daughter Lyria, who disappeared 25 years ago. We don’t know where they went or what had happened to them.”

“So my grandchild’s name is Lyria, what race is she?” Arisha asked, “I guess that Cynthia went for the Racial Recovery Project, which would have allowed her to change her race to one that would be able to survive in the Magic World.”

“She did.” Erisha replied, “As a Kitsune, that was the closest to her original race as both of you were originally Foxians. She gave birth to one daughter there, and after her daughter left for the Imperial School she disappeared on the same day. No one knows where she had gone, but she never arrived back at the home they stayed at that time again.”

“Do you have a picture of Lyria?” Arisha asked and Erisha replied, “I have one, I’ll send it to you, along with the picture of how your daughter looked in her last photo that was taken before she disappeared.”

“Oh.” Arisha said after she looked at the photo with her internal systems, “I think I know where my granddaughter has gone, a few weeks ago the Elves in Chang An captured an unknown female Kitsune and have sentenced her as an assassin trying to assassinate the Emperor to live as a pleasure slave, right now she’s being trained as such but I will ask a contact we have on the planet to buy her when she’s up for sale and send her here.”

“So she did appear here.” Erisha then replied, “Maybe your daughter is also somewhere in the system, things like that are bound to happen from time to time.”

“I’ll put the picture you’ve given me on the missing person list.” Arisha said, “And about the documents, I can keep my name, do i?”

“Yes you can.” Erisha replied and Arisha then said, “Then I’ll sign them before I open that gift you gave me.”

“Thank you sister.” Erisha said as she handed Arisha the documents that were stored on a special tablet. Arisha then signed them with her Siren Seal, which also worked as an ID-Band. Then Arisha opened the tiny box and inside were two crystals, and a small letter. The letter explained what she would have to do if she wanted to accept it. One of the two crystals had to be the first to be assimilated into her via accepting it into her astral body. The second crystal will turn her into a Siren Queen, if she accepts it. She would have to assimilate it just the same way after she finished with the first crystal. She also could assimilate both at the same time, what would speed up the process if she accepted the responsibilities that came with it.

Arisha then took both crystals into her astral body, after she gave the orders to buy Lyria from the slave market once she became available there and posted the photo of Cynthia on the missing persons list. She then laid down on her bed, initiating a demonic awakening, and put her in an unconscious state for the next two months, while she was changed into an Angel, a Demonic Angel to be precise, and her base race changed from Foxian into Kitsune.

CHAPTER 5 – SOUL TORTURE

While Arisha was sleeping during her transformation, Erisha researched the dealings the colonies had with Elven nobles, where she found some disturbing practices. She did summon a Demon to ask him a few questions about it, and that demon could identify that as signs of Soul Torture. Erisha then researched the old laws of the Trinity Alliance for that and found it, as one of the forbidden practices. The then summoned another Demon to ask how those Elven nobles had gotten the knowledge and means of how to do that forbidden practice. It took a while until she got the name of a certain Devil who would have the information she needed. Erisha was able to summon those Demons thanks to being a Demonic Angel herself.

After Arisha awakened, Erisha informed her about her findings and together they summoned that Devil to get the information they needed. After the Devil was summoned, inside a magical cage from where he couldn’t escape, both of them started their questions.

“We do have some serious questions, Mr. Devil.” Erisha said to him after he noticed that he was trapped here. “Don’t worry, as long as you answer our questions, we will send you back unharmed.”

“So what do you want, Miss Angel?” He replied, “My services usually aren’t cheap.”

“It’s about the Soul Torture.” Erisha said, “You know it is a forbidden practice. Even though that knowledge is a requirement for Divine Lords and similar beings in order to bring souls like my own from the Normal World into the Celestial World or Demon World in order for us to reach the afterlife or to be reborn, since it is required for those souls with an Armor Curse to pass the barrier.”

“Oh it’s about that.” The Devil then said, “If you help me with a small problem, then I’ll provide you with a list of all Mortals that we gave the information to.”

“Since you have all the names.” Erisha then said, “How about I summon enough of your kind to get rid of all of them. You can keep their souls as long as you don’t let them off the hook. You however would transport the Souls of the deceased along with their memory fragments to The Seal, where the souls can be restored to be reborn normally. We will use that list and will take the still living victims of that practice along with their memory fragments to restore them to full health, both physically and mentally.”

“That sounds interesting.” The Devil replied, “But how about I bring back those souls once they are restored, if you sign the appropriate documents we can restore them to life if they wish, those who decide against it, will be brought back as regular souls to be reborn here. I don’t have the authority to do something like that myself, but you as a Siren Queen do have that.”

“Can we really restore them to life?” Arisha asked and the Devil replied “Yes, I even volunteer to be the one responsible for delivering the souls to The Seal and bringing them back here, if you make that trip possible. I always wanted to see how this is done myself.”

“We can come to an agreement then.” Erisha then said, “Let me look for the appropriate documents that we both need to sign for that, we want to be sure that we have the right legal documents.”

“Take your time.” The Devil said, “I can’t go away while you do anyway, but I would prefer to be on the team that will make the appropriate documents, since you won’t find the needed documents anywhere, but I can help you write them. However, you would have to free me from this prison in order to do that.”

“What’s the catch?” Erisha then asked and the Devil replied, “None, at least for you. As you probably can tell, Miss Angel, when I’m lying. I’ll better stay with the truth to win your trust. You don’t want a Siren Queen among your enemies.”

“Well, it’s true that I can detect it when you’re lying.” Erisha said, “But I hope you stay true to your word, since you won’t have one but two Siren Queens as your personal enemies if you don’t.”

Erisha then stopped the spells that imprisoned the Devil here and along with some legal experts Erisha had brought in and some from Arisha’s side, they formulated out a detailed contract about the deal the two made with the Devil.

Once the contract was formulated out and signed by all parties, Erisha and Arisha then summoned several Devils to help them bringing back those people home, then Arisha took a part of these and some soldiers from the colonies’ forces aboard the Foxian while Erisha did the same bringing them aboard the Imperial Archangel. Each of the two ships then started and together with a large number of other military ships from the colonies formed two fleets.

The Foxian was the commanding ship of the first fleet, the Imperial Archangel that of the second fleet, both of them were about to depart to the inner planetary system, freeing the slaves that were subject to Soul Torture there.

The rescue operation took until the middle of December. The Foxian and the Imperial Archangel were the only ships that made it to the inside of the planet’s atmosphere or the Inner Worlds to start an attack on the appropriate person and to free the slaves that he had, then they would reunite with the fleet in orbit and transfer the freed slave to ships of the fleet before they made the next attack.

All Humans, Myar and Elves that had the knowledge of Soul Torture were killed by the Devils that were part of the Attack. Their souls taken to the Demon World where they would have to pay for their crimes.

Among the people rescued that way were Myra Lynn, her older sister Liandra and also Syrana de Elysia who had become good friends with Liandra before they were both captured by the military and then tortured by Syrana’s half-brother.

All in all roughly one hundred thousand slaves were freed, about ten thousand of them were subject to Soul Torture and another thirty thousand souls that were killed after having been subject to Soul Torture were collected.

The fleets made it back to the Serenity Colony on 24th of December, where the regular slaves then received the Advanced Slave Mark, that would also turn the Elven Slave Mark into a regular Imperial Slave Mark, making them mortal again. Those who wanted to remain immortal could become Sirens, but most chose mortality after they learned what it meant to be immortal and that they would already have a long life as a Lillim, since that’s what they would become with the Advanced Slave Mark.

The slaves that were subject to Soul Torture were a different problem however. They had to be restored first physically if there were problems there, then the memory fragments had to be united with their souls, that procedure took about a month, during which the girls were unconscious. After which the real work would begin, the girls then would have their memories back, all of them, that meant also the complete memories of having been tortured for years. Additionally they would also gain their Eternal Memories, meaning that they would then remember their previous lives, although only the important memories from their previous lives were left, not all of them.

The first ones to recover from the experience of the Soul Torture were Liandra Lynn and Syrana de Elysia, since both of them were a bit special. Both of them awakened during the process, turning them into Succubis. Liandra turned out to be the Kitsune Goddess Husan Tainai and Syrana turned out to be the Elven Goddess Changxi, the later one was forced to life as an Elf for five lives in order to be reborn as an Elven Deity, this was the last of those five lives but with the Elven Slave Mark it became impossible for her to become a goddess again, or at least she would have to start from the beginning. Syrana however agreed to become a Siren since she was able to tell that the whole thing was a plot of the other Elven Deities to get rid of her. As a Siren she would be free from them and turn the part of her divine powers that weren’t yet claimed by other Gods into a part of the Siren’s Divine Powers.

CHAPTER 6 – FAMILY

“How are you feeling today?” The nurse asked Liandra and she replied with, “I’m fine now, it may sound a bit soon but with my eternal memories it’s far easier to get over that Soul Torture that I had to suffer.”

“Oh.” The nurse then said, “Please let me check, if you allow me to.”

“Of course.” Liandra said, “You are one of the Angels that were summoned here to take care of us. I see no problem if you do a check of my mental state.”

“Thanks.” The nurse replied and made a mental checkup with her powers of Liandra’s mind, “It really looks well, what a surprise, but I guess there is more than meets the eye, you did undergo a Divine Awakening after all, while you were asleep after all, as one of two cases.”

“Who is the other case?” Liandra asked and before the nurse could respond, someone knocked at the door. The nurse went to check who it was, then said, “Please come in, she’s awake and able to talk. I will leave the two of you alone so you have some time for yourselves, after all, the two of you are somewhat similar.”

Then the nurse left the room and Syrana de Elysia entered, she was already dressed in regular clothing and brought some clothes for Liandra as well.

“It’s good to see you, Syrana.” Liandra said as she saw her friend, “What did the nurse mean by, the two of you are somewhat similar?”

“I did have a Divine Awakening while I was asleep.” Syrana replied, “If she said we’re similar, that probably means you had one as well.”

“Yes.” Liandra said, “I guess you are now in your real form, just like me. Or as close to that as possible here in the Normal World.”

“So you as well.” Syrana then said, “To tell the truth, I once was the Elven Goddess Changxi, but that’s all in the past now, since it will be a long time till I can become an Elven Deity again, if I’m ever able to do that again.”

“So what should I call you now, Syrana or Changxi?” Liandra asked, “But before you ask, I was once the Goddess Husan Tainai, but I prefer the name Liandra to that now.”

“I do like the name Syrana as well.” Syrana then said, “But if it’s possible I would keep both names. Since I’m going to become a Siren to be able to live here.”

“So we really are in similar positions.” Liandra replied, “So how about we become Sisters. Mom should still be somewhere out there, once we are able to rescue her I’ll ask her to adopt you into our family.”

“You really would want to do that?” Syrana said, “You know how it is, as Changxi I do hold some power and the Royal Family would claim me if they ever get the chance.”
