Introduction.

Stalking is a very hot and socially concerned phenomenon, because we often hear from the media about passionate murder cases that hide stalking cases. This makes me wonder: is the stalker a kind of harassing harassment of his victim, who has been born for several years, or has existed in the past few years?

This question has been accompanied by all my thesis work, and it is a spring, which stimulates my curiosity about this phenomenon I have never heard of before. Everyone is aware of recent stalking cases, such as Maria Antonia Murtari, aka Antonella, who was stabbed 40 times by Luca Delfino on August 10, 2007, or women who were cut with acid, who suffered severe physical injuries (facial burns) and psychological injuries, known as Maria Antonia Murtari, known as Antonella, known as Antonia Murtari. However, the list will be a very long one, and it will certainly continue to grow if agencies fail to stop these incidents.

This is happening because it is not easy to define the phenomenon, because even today, after years of serious cases, there is still no legislation, and this continued harassment in the name of stalking has only recently been taken into account.

The purpose of this paper is not to blame or impress conscience, but to introduce Stalking phenomenon in a very simple, brief and detailed way.

I will start with the concept of stalking, then define it and categorize the various forms that, in addition to appearing in different ways, have different psychological effects on the victim. I will also focus on the purpose of Stalking, which is what drives the Stalker to keep Stalking. In addition, in this first part, I will discuss more strictly in theory, and in connection with the general framework of the phenomenon, the legal aspects, therefore, the "protection" of victims of stalkers, and the impact of Italian law on stalkers, and briefly introduce American law.

In the second part, I will describe in detail the possible personalities of the two parts involved in the social phenomenon-the stalker and the victim.

I decided to divide this part into two chapters in order to distinguish the parties most relevant to the Stalking phenomenon. In fact, in Chapter 3, I will discuss the image of the stalker, and in Chapter 4, I will discuss the image of the victim.

In Chapter 3, we will discuss the classifications studied and established over the centuries and their positive and negative aspects, and will reveal that the characteristics of stalkers are related to the behavior of victims. We will consider all actions that the stalker may take to retaliate or woo the victim. I will conclude this chapter with a psychological and familiar stalker image to summarize the basic characteristics.

In the fourth chapter, I will study the image of the victim. I will discuss the various classifications related to victims in general and to stalking, starting with a number of victim surveys that, in my view, make stalking more prominent. These classifications reveal psychological disorders of victims, not just psychological disorders. In this chapter, I will also end with the psychological and family profile of the victims.

At the end of my work, I reported some major predictive factors, which may be a form of support for the Stalker and the Stalker itself. I have also mentioned the forms of support that may exist on our territory and I think it is worth pointing out. In this section, I also come to the conclusion of the prevention part, which I think is very important, because research and statistics show that the phenomenon of social Stalking is increasing. As the phrase "prevention is better than cure" says, in my opinion, this attitude is very important in this situation, because unfortunately, news reports often report tragic cases, which unfortunately eventually lead to the death of victims.

Stalking.

Stalking is a social phenomenon that has a great psychological impact on individuals (stalkers and victims), as well as on family and friends circles and the general public, since the media often report stalking cases and, unfortunately, in the worst cases, victims die at the hands of stalkers or victims.

Stalking is a term we borrow from English. It comes from to stalk, a hunter's verb, which literally means "to lurk and sneak close to prey". So, from a metaphorical point of view, the word explains the stalker's attitude and behavior towards the victim very clearly, with the aim of approaching, persuading, scaring or punishing those who perceive such behavior in a way of annoyance or fear, and reporting their profound upheaval on a psychological and practical level.

In Italian, the term stalking is translated as expressions such as "stalker syndrome" or "harassing obsession syndrome" and can be defined as a disturbing constellation of obsessive acts and behaviors aimed at a psychological kidnapping of a victim who doesn't always know their faithful and passionate stalker.

However, one point needs to be clarified: Stalking is not a mental illness and is included in the DSM (Statistical and Diagnostic Manual for Mental Illness); So we can say that the word is not medicine, but medicine can be a turning point of phenomenon. Behind these individuals may be a mental illness or illness that prompts the perpetrator to adopt certain attitudes towards the victim, or the victim may perceive such behavior as a pathological impairment of his or her psychological and physical balance.

This phenomenon is characterized by the nature of the psychological dynamics between the victim and the abuser, which can produce a suffocating interlock of relationships and make the victim experience a state of complete mental submission. It is this destructive and manipulative relationship that may be confused with mental illness. In fact, this phenomenon is characterized by the strong possessiveness of stalkers through constant search and surveillance, thus forcing victims to constantly find new spaces for daily activities. As a result, victims are forced to passively succumb to a process that completely impairs their day-to-day activities, so that only the first person to be seriously affected.

The process of survival change gradually begins to shift from the places frequented by victims (home, workplace, places frequented in leisure time) to the spiritual level, resulting in a painful state and changing the perception, attention and expression of reality. In fact, victims often see danger where there is no danger, because it is conditional, so that it distorts the perception of detail, because it is conditional, because it
