Corporate executives can meet for days putting together a strategy that is not only brilliant in concept, but complete in design. A company can have this plan in the palm of their hands, knowing success is imminent if it is properly applied. The problem occurs when this type of plan is executed in a manner that is far less from complete, systematic, or desirable. The opposite can be true as well: Even with the very best team assembled and prepared to begin taking the planned steps toward the goal, if the strategy is lacking, the company and its stakeholders are going to suffer in one way or another.

The solution is simple: By getting your organization’s departments, their routines, and their schedules to coincide with an excellent plan of attack, and if you prioritize the tasks before you properly and with wisdom, you will be able to take successful steps that lead to the end result you and your team are seeking for your organization.

Chapter Introduction

Times past demonstrated businessmen and women possessed the ability to focus their attention on the development and construction of a strategy for their company dealings, after which they would delegate the responsibility of the strategies actual execution to those around them; those days are essentially extinct.

There a six basic aspects to following through and successfully completing your strategy. Top-notch execution can only take place if all of these aspects are on the “same page”; in agreement with one another and the circumstance which surround it, so to speak. We will assign the anagram I.N.V.E.S.T to the following terms of discussion; they are as follows:

I……..Ideation

N…....Nature

V…….Vision

E…….Engagement

S…….Synthesis

T…….Transition

If you and your corporation desire better results when executing strategy, take advantage of the planning phase by ensuring all aspects listed above are brought into working harmony. Now, let’s discuss each in a bit of detail, providing you with a clearer understanding of each.

Chapter I…..Ideation

Ideation Defined:

Your company, corporation, or organization should have a very clear set of goals, intents, purposes, and a precise description of who you are and what you do. This is “ideation” in a nutshell.

Before you begin to implement these things into strategy execution, and if are exact and elaborate in plan detail, you will begin to experience being able to keep your interest-holders posted at all times, potential hires with the same thought processes and mindsets will be drawn to your company, and potential clients or customers will find themselves compelled to come to you for products and services.

If you are focusing on building a solid base for your plan of attack, ideation is needed. It will put your organization where it needs to be, building confidence in your pursuits as far as your interest holders are concerned.

If ideation is a strength for your corporation you will stand out from the competition in many powerful ways. There are three individual parts to this particular dynamic:

Future Plans & Strategies

Do you and your team have a clear vision of what you want the end result to be? You must specify the goals you are aiming for, and it must be done very clearly. Until this task is complete your team will be unable to develop the steps that need to be taken to get to the finish line. If the organizational plans you have set into place are concise and interesting in nature, you will gain the trust of the consumer regarding their faith in your ability to be in the business for the long-haul. They will have confidence that you are engaging in quality service and/or production, and what you have to offer will be the best, paying off in the long run. They realize that if it is to pay off in the future, you will conduct your present business with honesty and integrity, considering their needs and desires.

What is your mission & what do you do?

Actions speak louder than words ever could. As it is with human beings, the solidity of a corporation is told by the choices those in its service make. You see, regardless of what you are trying to tell the world about your corporation and what it stands for. You will be able to proceed to take on tasks that are suited to the identity of your organization rather than making it fly by the seat of its pants regarding services and products. All of this combined will send a clear message about who you are and what you do.

Clarify why the company exists.
