Beschreibung

The modern world is drastically changing and many people are far from ever understanding the patterns that current criminality follows.
In a precise description of several issues unknown to the vast majority of the population, this book intends to promote a higher conscience about how crime really occurs and how to predict one from ever occurring.
This is, therefore, a manual of self-help mostly dedicated to Travelers and Law Enforcement Officers.
Within the different chapters, it’s possible to obtain information on how a criminal thinks, which environments offer less safety and why, how does a crime occurs, but also how to predict one from ever occurring.
The information here presented may surprise the reader but it’s as sharp as it can get and goes far beyond what even a police officer usually knows.
The content here provided combines insights from many fields, namely Special Anti-Terrorist Units, Police Officers, Security Guards, but mostly, hundreds of personally witnessed and investigated situations.
The Author, a well-known researcher and self-defense Instructor, provides here a synthesis of decades working in this field.

INTRODUCTION

THE PARADIGM WITHIN CRIMINALITY

In order to understand a robbery and predict the pending resolution of any crime we must analyze the motives of the criminal.

For this purpose, we should pay attention to the context in which the crime takes place, as well as the elements presented during the incident; by elements, we’re here inferring to the people involved, both in character and numbers, as well as the objects available in that precise moment.

The mechanism of the mind compiles strategies out of a combination of 3 basic elements: Environment, Objects and Personalities.

There isn’t any crime without a proper victim; the more victimized someone can become the more violent a criminal proves to be; therefore, a highly aggressive victim could invert any prediction.

On the other hand, never will a proper criminal risk finding someone with such potential.

The power of the criminal mind lies on the weakness of his victim.

It’s never about what we can do, Or even who we are, but what we allow someone else to perceive.

A 50 Kg black belt in Kickboxing will always encounter more situations in which he has to protect himself and his family than a 100 Kg Master of Donuts Eating.
