"I didn't choose this ability or gift to communicate with the angels. I was chosen." Margarita is a medium. Even as a ten-year-old, she hears voices that she cannot recognize, sees people who are not real and feels touches that are not actually happening. Due in part to a family environment that dismisses her stories about this as fantasy, she tries to defend herself against it and ignore the phenomena. It is only as an adult that she accepts her gift as a gift to help others. And Margarita begins to find her way in this life between two worlds and to live her life: "A gift like this is something you have to grow into. I grew into it. But the most important thing was to 'accept' it."

Foreword

This book is based on my personal experience, which I would like to pass on in this way.

This book is intended to give an insight into my work, which I only began in reality after many years, about what you cannot see.

I would also like to say a big thank you to three special people who have supported me with my book.

My friend Monika, who always had an open ear for questions and the right answer.

Irene, who made it possible to bring my ability to the public and blessed me with many new experiences and with her cooperation.

I would like to personally thank my son Sebastian, who took over the proofreading and was at my side with his full support.

Thank you very much

My work as a medium

A medium is a mediator between this world and the hereafter.

I establish a connection with the deceased through my spirit guide, so to speak.

I am only a tool of the spiritual world. I work for the spiritual world.

You are born clairvoyant or you learn it.

I was born with it and chosen by the spiritual world. At least that's what my spirit guide told me.

Some clairvoyant people still want or need to expand and develop their ability in courses or seminars in order to fulfill the tasks set by the spiritual world.

It is true that everyone has a spirit guide, but it is not possible for everyone to hear their spiritual helper or follow through their feelings.

Unfortunately, I had to get to know people who claimed to be prophets or the Holy Mary Mother of God.

I have also experienced over the years that clairvoyant, clairaudient and clairsentient people have been seen in the wrong light.

I made these statements in 1989 and you would think you were still living in the Middle Ages. For this reason, I kept my gift to myself for many years. Nowadays, things are a little different. Spirituality has become more interesting. People pay more attention to it and, with some exceptions, even respect it.

If contact is to be established, it is very important to be very open to this session. Doubts and unwillingness to make contact can be a major obstacle. If my client is ready for it, so am I.

When I make contact, I see the deceased with my inner eye.

The souls that appear to me show me special characteristics that characterized the deceased in their lives.

Either a ring on their finger that was more visible than the rest of their body, clothes they liked to wear. The face, the hairstyle. An object such as a stick that they liked to use for walking or a musical instrument. The way they looked before they died and how they were known. Sometimes they appeared in a kind of mist or bright light. Only the things that seem important to the deceased at the moment are most visible to me.

I receive images, feelings from the souls that are transmitted to me.

Illnesses that they have had are my biggest burden. Stomach complaints or constant headaches that they have suffered from in their lives are often transferred to me during contact. I often feel the same pain as the soul that suffered from it.

Smells too, such as tobacco if someone was a smoker, or a strong perfume. All things that they enjoyed using during their lifetime.

I cannot control what the souls transmit to us. This means that special questions are sometimes not answered. However, this happens very rarely.

Likewise, I cannot summon them as I please. They appear to me in the way that is possible for the spiritual world.

It has also happened that they accompanied a beloved deceased pet. That's why it's not unusual for me to mention a pet.

The messages of the deceased show me how to help the person seeking contact, say goodbye or tell them important things that were still unspoken.

They just want to help and provide a loving closure.

Sometimes they appear before the person looking for contact gets in touch with me. Which is often not uncommon.

It can also happen that they make themselves known to myclients who want to make contact beforehand through apparitions in dreams or half-sleep. Through familiar smells or electrical fields such as lamps or radios, which then like to activate themselves.

It is always a wonderful experience to witness a farewell or a last conversation, which is not only helpful for the person seeking contact, but also for the soul that visits us.

A medium establishes the connection, but the main person is the client, who wants and seeks this connection.

Of course, there are ways to establish contact without clients.

Some people asked me to talk to their deceased over the phone or by e-mail.

I say: "No, not like that!" It's a bit of a guessing game, because a confusing amount of information can come my way through these channels and I have to filter it out with a lot of effort.

A strenuous job that doesn't have to be.

That's why I prefer a personal conversation.

I would like to introduce myself briefly

My name is Margarita and I am a medium.

I am married for the second timeand have a son from my first marriage.

My husband has two children, a boy and a girl.

Our family happiness also includes two dogs that have joined us over the years.

I was born as an identical twin. Unfortunately, my twin sister died after she was born. We were born in an extension to a farm in the middle of a small village in Bavaria.

I spent two years in this village with my parents, my older sister and my brother until we moved to the next bigger town.

My new home in this city, which was very exciting for me, was in a housing estate with lots of terraced houses. Our apartment was on the second floor of an apartment building, which was provided by the city for socially disadvantaged and large families.

It was very spacious. The rooms were very well laid out. There was a balcony with a view of an open meadow and a playground that was used by many children.

Many apartments were occupied by Turks and people from the former Yugoslavia. Many of these foreign neighbors spoke German very well. We had a very good atmosphere and great friendships in our neighborhood.

When I was four years old, my second brother was born, followed by my third brother two years later. So I had a family with another four siblings. It's nice to grow up in a big family, even if there was often friction.

My father, a tall and strong man, was a drinks supplier in our new town, and my mother was employed as a cleaner in the same company where my father worked.

At that time, I thought I was "normal". A completely normal girl.

The language of spirits

If the voices of souls can suddenly upset your whole life from one day to the next, if it is possible to see images in the future or from the past, if you can receive premonitions of good or badevents even before they happen, if feelings from other souls are also transferred to you because they want to communicate or even show themselves in different ways, you ask yourself, can you even explain all this? I think it is more than we would understand.

There are stories of ghosts and poltergeists. Of things that move on their own, such as pictures that fall off the wall even though the nail is still in the wall. Strange smells such as tobacco or flowers that you can suddenly smell for no particular reason. Appearances that can be recognized for a short time and suddenly disappear as soon as we try to perceive them mentally. Sounds from the radio and much more. Some experiences can give rise to a feeling of unease or even fear.

Everyone deals with such events differently. Some people get goosebumps, others just let it happen, become curious and want to find out more about these events.

No matter how everyone perceives such experiences, these perceptions really do exist.

Why are things happening? Is something going wrong or is it normal?

Are they angels? Are they souls of the deceased who haunt us? If so, why?

Do they want to protect us and protect us from danger? Or communicate something?

Questions upon questions. I want to answer them as best I can in my book.

When I was ten, communicating with spirits was no big deal. You are even more carefree and curious. The word imagination is written in capital letters.

A child of this age or younger still finds it exciting to have a companion that others can't see. But as you get older, your thinking has grown and the child becomes a teenager and a woman, as in my life.

You think more about yourself. You also question more. Especially when you want to know a lot of things and are looking for explanations for everything you haven't understood for a long time. It is the gift of communicating with your spirit guide that lies within each of us but is not recognized.

I did not choose this ability or gift to communicate with the angels. I was chosen.

I didn't want this gift. I wanted to get rid of it by any means necessary. It was unbearable for me to understand and assign several voices that were constantly trying to tell me something. Their way of communicating verbally was often difficult. Constant whispering, fast and jumbled. Low and high tones in different pitches. Female and male voices. Sounds as if footsteps were walking through the house, knocking, singing or shouting could be heard.

When I tried to distract myself without living with the voices of the angels and my spirit guide, it was a great torture for me. Even worse, it really hurt my sensibilities. My thoughts and my actions, all I was trying to do was live a normal life. I couldn't. My constant defenses gave me nightmares. Grimaces, strange figures and demons appeared to me. Everything was there. I was pulled by the hair while half asleep and told in an energetic voice to accept what I had been given as a gift.

It was a clear invitation to accept the gift, as they called it, akzeptieren.

It sometimes took years before I was ready to share a life with the spiritual world, and that forever.

Ghost speeches,I was told. Voices in my head that sound as if they are coming from outside. I turned my right ear, and still do today, in the direction where I think I can best hear the words of my spiritual helper.

I spent a very long time learning and understanding all these things that happened to me. But the most important thing was to "accept".

A gift like this is something you have to grow into. I have grown into it.

Today I am grateful and happy to have this gift. With these abilities, which have increased over the years, I have been able to help many people.

Now I say: "Thank you for this gift!"

My first experience with angels

The big change of moving from a village to the big city was not the only thing I experienced early on.

One day, when I was just under ten years old, a lot of things changed for me.

My whole life, so to speak.

It was a sunny afternoon. I can still remember it very well. I had a long walk home from school and just wanted some peace and quiet from the new, annoying lessons. School was a must for me, but not particularly enjoyable. The heavy bag, freshly packed with new school books as a new school year began, had made me sweat even more than usual that day.

Somehow, everything was different this time. Some of my usual classmates had been moved to other classesand the new teacher was a stranger to me, but nice.

When I arrived home and entered our apartment, it was very quiet and no one seemed to be home.

My older siblings were usually out doing their chores that our mother had assigned, such as shopping. My three brothers liked to avoid this and preferred to play with the other children from the neighborhood.

It was also unusually quiet in the adjoining apartments. A strange sensation, as there was always a noisy gathering of several people in the downstairs apartment.

I placed my heavy school bag (it was brown, made of imitation leather and with big buckles, had more the appearance of a horrible, ugly briefcase) in an area of the hallway where our jackets and shoes also found their place.

I just stood there quietly, listening and letting my gaze wander in all directions around the apartment. How did this unusual silence come about?

Our hallway was very long and had a colorful sisal carpet. You could enter every single room from this corridor. There was only one connection from one room to the others. The doors to our rooms were white and had a glass pane, which was usually broken by us children playing around. The walls were decorated with ugly artificial ivy, a plastic deer head, an old mirror and pictures of nature. At the end of the hallway was the master bedroom and to the right was the kitchen. This was the most important place in our apartment. Eating, doing homework or just playing games were a big part of it.

While my gaze was still wandering around, I suddenly heard a faint voice saying very quietly to me: "Hello!"

At first, I thought my sister was at home and was joking. But there was no one in the apartment.

Then once again, barely audible:"Hello!"

I answered back with a "hello" without thinking. I stood there motionless and held my breath. It was silent. Nothing came back.

I assumed I had misheard and just left it at that.

After completing my schoolwork, I turned my thoughts to the fun and enjoyable part of the day. I wanted to ride my bike to my friend's house, who lived just a few houses away. Just before I left the apartment, I suddenly heard that voice again.

There were many different voices this time. No exact sentences. A complete mess. I found it annoying and unpleasant. My head was spinning. I felt dizzy and the voices became more and more intrusive.

Then suddenly, as if someone had turned off the switch on a radio, everything was silent again. Very quiet. I listened for a short while for these noises or voices, but nothing happened.

When my mother came home from work, I immediately told her about my experience. She said I had only imagined it or heard the neighbors next door.

I persisted and kept talking about it for days afterwards, so much so that my mother later hung two pictures in an old wooden frame in my room to reassure me. One of these pictures was of Jesus Christ, the other of the Virgin Mary, Mother of God. She said that she would look after me and that I wouldn't hear any more voices.

Every evening I spoke to those divine images that hung above my bed. I told them about my day and the voices I had heard. I told them about my wishes, dreams and fears. Everything that was on my mind or what was going on in my head.

It felt good to tell someone everything, even if it was just pictures.

Weeks passed since the experience with the strange voices, and I didn't think about it any more.

What interested me more was playing with my friends outside or in the apartment. Unfortunately, it often happened that something in the apartment or in the neighbors' apartments got broken again, so I was punished.

Most of the time I had to take the rap for it, especially when something didn't go the way my parents wanted it to.

My punishment was therefore, as so often, house arrest and a TV ban.

I spent such days of prohibition in my room. I often thought it was unfair and I was constantly complaining to myself and telling my pictures, St. Mary and Jesus.

My mother looked in on me in the evening and saw me sitting in a dark room, not moving. I was in a completely contented state, as if I was asleep.

I could hear the door open, but it was irrelevant to me and far away.

She quietly closed the door behind her and left me alone.

A voice told me:"Margarita, you have the 'gift of life'".

It was a calm male voice whispering in my right ear. I didn't feel afraid or startled by it, and in that moment everything faded out.

Hesitantly, I asked, "Who are you?"

"The one who will accompany you in the future."

"Are you Jesus, like in the picture?" I asked curiously.

"I am your angel."

"Why can I hear you?"

"It's time for you to learn,"said the angel.

"What should I learn?"

"The gift of life."

Everything this angel said to me was just a big question mark for me.

Who was he?

What is the gift of life?

I kept asking, but nothing came back from him. After this conversation, I didn't hear a single word from the angel's world for days.

Have I done something wrong? Did I misunderstand something? Have I perhaps upset the angel?

I still had so many questions, but no answers.

To get this, I climbed a very high tree the next day. Right up to the top to be even closer to heaven and reach the angel.

For me, climbing trees was no big deal. Quite the opposite. It was wonderful to sit at the top of the tree and watch everything from the very top. The smell, the height, the freedom. The only voices I heard from my place of peace, however, were those of a neighboring couple who were walking below me.

"Come down from there! It's too dangerous. It's not nice when a girl climbs trees."

I shouted loudly from my tree:

"I have an angel looking after me and two pictures in my room of Jesus Christ and the Virgin Mary! Nothing will happen to me!"

The couple shook their heads and walked on.

When I realized that climbing to the top of the trees to hear the angel's voice hadn't helped, I tried a walk in the woods. Maybe my angel needed a quieter place to talk to me?

My walk in the woods didn't bring the desired success either.
