MY WILL – ENERGY and RELIGION

HEALING and JOY

ENERGY AND RELIGION - THE RAINBOW

The rainbow, a fascinating natural spectacle of light and water , is mentioned three times in the Bible.

At the end of the flood, the light of the first rays of the sun reflects in the drops of water and creates a colorful arc in the clouds. Noah hears a voice which interprets what he has experienced:

"This bow is the sign of the covenant I have established between me and all life on the earth." 1

1 Gen 9:17

The second mention of the rainbow is found in Ezekiel's account of his call ing as a prophet.

"On that day, the heavens were opened and I saw visions of God. I saw an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. The cloud burst open, and from within it shone a bright light, like the brilliance of glittering gold. A figure resembling a human being could be seen on a throne.

He looked like fire; and brilliant light surrounded him. Like the appearance of a rainbow that appears in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord." 2

2 from Ez 1

We find the third mention of the rainbow in the Book of Revelation.

"Then I saw a mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars." 3

3 Revelation 10:1

Noah, Ezekiel and John were prophets. They saw, heard and knew more than the vast majority of their fellow human beings.

Heaven revealed itself to them, they felt connected to God and gained insight into higher knowledge. While this insight is only granted to the chosen ones, a rainbow in the sky is visible to all who choose to look . But how many understand it as a sign of the covenant, as a promise of peace, as an opportunity for a new beginning? We make new beginnings every morning together with the sun, every month with the new moon, every spring with nature, and then there are our own personal new beginnings. What do we hope for from the new? Where should our new beginnings lead us? Jesus teaches us about joy: it should be as complete, strong, pure and clear for us and within us as the rainbow. 4

4 John 16:24

THE RAINBOW - HEALING AND JOY

"Ask God in my name, and you will receive, and your joy will be complete." 5

5 John 16:24

Seeing a rainbow fills me with joy. This gift from heaven touches deep into my soul, especially when the bow is truly complete and the colors shine bright and clear. I almost can't take my eyes off it until the colors fade.

On the cover picture, the colors of the rainbow are painted horizontally. If we accept the chakra doctrine, which was brought to the West from East Asia, we assume that the energies that flow through our body are visible to receptive people in these colors. We can tell how healthy a person is in body and soul by the strength, purity and order of the colors. With color therapy, sound therapy and many other methods, we can influence our chakras and our aura. In this book I present various techniques that are easy to le arn even for non-experts, but which only work if we ask for higher spiritual powers.

Since every new beginning requires a decision and is a declaration of will, I begin each chapter with "I want".

CHAPTER 1: I WANT

A man with leprosy came to Jesus and begged him on his knees: "If you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus was indignant. He reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said, "be clean!" Immediately the leprosy left him and he was cleaned. 6

6 Mark 1:40 ff.

Like any tool, the will can be used for good or for evil. It can be a deadly weapon or a remedy, depending on the ethical disposition, personal orientation and current intention of the one who wills.

Jesus must have had an extremely strong will. His healings had an effect on the body and the spirit. We can always assume that the body wants to be healed. It requires oxygen, water, nutrients, sleep and exercise. If this is not enough to keep its functions intact, we look for medication and therapies.

But the mind also plays a role in healing. Since it has been proven that our expectations of a remedy often have a stronger influence than the medication itself, we should also take our will, both conscious and unconscious, into consideration. Every will wants something, that is its purpose. As a human being, my purpose is to take responsibility for the will of the body for the whole journey of life. The following dream brought part of this journey before my inner eyes:

I'm driving through a village in Switzerland and see a flood on the road aheadof me. I drive in without much thought and only realize after a few metersthat the water is deeper than I expected. The engine struggles through thewater. I roll down the windows so that my sister and I can each paddle withone arm to help us move forward. Slow and laborious progress is made untilthe car has made it out of the water and up a mountain on the other side.

This dream beautifully illustrates the cooperation between the will of the Conscious Self, which is at the wheel, and the unconscious physical will, which fights its way forward with the power of the engine. Both wills are tested and challenged by the resistance of the water. I want to avoid getting stuck in emotions of fear of drowning or in other feelings at all costs. I lower the windows and think of something. At that moment, I see my sister sitting next to me. I start rowing with my left arm and my sister doubles my effort of will with her right arm. And lo and behold! The external resistance can be overcome. My unconscious, physical will (motor) makes it to the other side because the will of my Conscious Self has received support.

According

to

Piero

Ferrucci7

, the pool of emotions in dreams is directly related to my will, or more precisely, to the weakened will.

7 Piero Ferrucci, Werde was du bist Chapter 6, p. 89 ff./What We May Be He asks questions such as:

Does it often happen that

 you bend your will to the will of other people?

 your will is overwhelmed by your feelings, such as depression, anger or fear?

 your will is paralyzed by your inertia?

 your will is lulled by habits?

 your will dissolves through distraction?

 your will is gnawed by doubts? 8

8 Ibid. S. 93

The will is part of our psyche and an expression of our autonomy. It is the key to personal freedom and power. Thanks to it, we are not helplessly at the mercy of external circumstances and internal forces. If the will does not take shape for the reasons mentioned above, its place is taken by negative feelings such as fear, depression, resentment and confusion. 9

9 Ibid. S. 102

Many people get stuck in such difficult feelings. 10

10 Wikipedia: According to a health survey, 22.2% of people in Switzerland suffer from mild depression, which can lead to a loss of performance, incapacity to work and physical complaints. 4.6% suffer from moderate depression and 1.9% from severe depression. Experts now largely agree that there is no such thing as standard " depression" and therefore no " one" depression treatment. It is therefore common for sufferers to try different approaches until they find the treatment that is right for them.

On difficult journeys, at some point there can be great temptation to give in and resign ourselves to inertia or exhaustion. When things get tight, when we get scared, we need to be wide open to new ideas that may even seem crazy at first glance. In my dream, I start paddling and show full motivation.

This motivation has led to this book. The various Energy Healing techniques, like the paddling in the dream, may seem rather simple and modest at first glance. But as the dream shows, we can trust that the spiritual world will double our will and effort.

In times of difficulty, suffering or even everyday tasks, we are dependent on support. Sometimes we need advice and assistance from an experienced specialist, or sometimes the help consists of a medication, an operation, physiotherapy or psychotherapy. All human support has a therapeutic

effect. When a person shows solidarity with us and with our concerns, it gives us a boost of energy. It often doesn't take much. A little push at the right time can help a weakened and threatened will to get back onto its feet.

According to Roberto Assagioli and Piero Ferrucci, seven qualities come to the fore when the will is awake and strong:

Energy, mastery, concentration, determination, persistence, initiative, and organizational skills. 11

11 Piero Ferrucci, Werde was du bist p. 104/What We May Be Thanks to such qualities and powers, the Conscious Self in the dream overcomes all depressive feelings and even climbs up a mountain.

I park the car at a house at the summit of the mountain. There is a man withhis two sons who are working with wood. We get talking and the man explainsto me that driving through the water doesn't do much harm to the car, it justneeds a lot more energy.

The past had cost me a lot of energy at times, my conversation partner states matter-of-factly in the dream. In the weeks before, I had been dragging myself through the days rather badly than well. I don't know whether my lack of energy was a result of the coronavirus or simply spring fatigue. At that time, it really felt like I had no real ground under my feet. My willpower and attempts to write led everywhere and nowhere.

But my willpower is intact, I am assured. This reassures me, and not just in my dreams.

While I'm still talking to the man about the car, his sons collect the logs thatare lying around and throw them down a shaft that leads to the heatingsystem.

Wood is stored energy. It's always good to have energy in stock. My attention follows the lively movements of the boys towards the shaft. This leads to the inside of the house, where a new task awaits me.

I go into the house and meet two girls there. One of them is paralyzed in herlegs and moves around with the help of a low wooden trolley. I turn towardsthis girl. We arrange ourselves so that the girl sits in front of me on hertrolley and I lay my hands on her. I let energy flow through me into her feet.

At the same time, tears stream down my cheeks.

My will to make the lame leg work gets my own emotions flowing first. The tears cleanse my eyes.

The dream does not reveal whether my dream self brings about the healing.

Jesus is said to have healed the leprous man in an instant with his will and a touch of his hand. With us, everything takes time, and without an alert mind and focused will it takes even longer. My goal for the next phase of my life is quite ambitious, but it doesn't seem unattainable after this dream.

When I briefly interrupt my healing work, I see a sign above the door with theword " Joy".

Joy is the name of the director of the Institute for Applied Intuition.

I got to know Joy F. Barbezat when social life was partially paralyzed by the pandemic.

Shortly after completing my term of office as a minister in the Reformed Church 12 , I took a training course in Energy Healing, which took me to a height of energy and knowledge and - as the dream shows - into the middle of my new vocation, with my eyes focused on joy.

12 I compiled a cross-section of my experiences, insights and spiritual work as a pastor in the book Dem wahren Menschen auf der Spur, Mauritius, 2018.

Jesus' entire actions and preaching were also aimed at joy. He begins his Sermon on the Mount with the Beatitudes. The fir st reads:

" Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. " Another translation is: Let all those rejoice who expect all from God and nothing from themselves, for they will live with him in the new world." 13

13 Mt 5,3

Did I become like the person in the dream who, after leaving the car, no longer expects anything from himself, but trusts in God and draws strength, wisdom, ideas and love from within?

There are many ancient and modern ways and means of raising the soul and consciousness to a higher level of energy and joy. Church services, rituals, places of power, meditation, contemplation, art, music, nature experiences, walks, yoga, sport - hopefully everyone will find their own personal access to joy.

My soul showed me my path to joy in this dream. It was so clear that I was able to keep it in my mind and write it down in the morning. We want to be able to hold on to joy or to reproduce it again and again. To do this, we need to know and understand our personal path to joy. In the outside world, we orient ourselves with maps, signposts and navigation devices. There are also corresponding aids for orientation in the inner world.

CHAPTER 2: I WANT TO UNDERSTAND

On a hike, if I want to know where I am, I look for a signpost. It tells me the location, the altitude and the near and far destinations. With a map, I can get a broader overview and, if necessary, mark the paths I have taken or the routes I plan to take.

And where can I draw my dream journey?

Roberto Assagioli - a physician, psychologist, philosopher, specialist in neurology and psychiatry who lived from 1888-1974 - developed a map of the soul and published it in his book Psychosynthesis 14 . His student Piero Ferrucci wrote of his teacher: " (He was a) truly wise old man, an inexhaustible source of joy." 15 I have marked my dream path to joy in yellow on his map of the soul. 16

15 Piero Ferrucci, Werde, was du bist, p. 13

16 Assagioli, Psychosynthese, p. 29. The egg diagram was supplemented by H. Widmer with the yellow color.

First, the journey leads through bottomless deep water. The Conscious Self, or “I” (5) must dive into the Lower Unconscious (1) and, by using all its energy and willpower and by harmonizing and integrating other parts of the personality, perceived in my dream as my sister, become a capable whole.

The path then leads the Conscious Self through the Middle Unconscious (2) to the heights of the Higher Unconscious, or Superconscious (3). Here, too, energy is released and the two boys from my dream can be interpreted as newly activated impulses. In the dream, the conversation between me and the man brings together male and female, intellectual and emotional parts.

After the discussion about the past, the drive through the flood and up the mountain, the future comes into my field of vision.

For me, the house on the mountain is a symbol of the Higher Self (6). This is where body and soul experience healing, where the flow of life flows unhindered and joy radiates.

Adoption - Integration - Implementation

Adoption: We dream many dreams that never reach our conscious mind.

Sometimes the Conscious Self (5) manages to catch snippets of dreams from the unconscious. When dreams or parts of dreams arouse our interest, the Conscious Self takes them into the Field of Consciousness (4), which consists of an " incessant flow of sensations, images, thoughts, feelings, desires and impulses which we can observe, analyze and judge. " 17

17 Assagioli, Psychosynthese, p.30

Integration: Just by writing down the dream, I actively connect what I have dreamed with my waking consciousness and also with my body and make what I have dreamed a visible part of my life. Dream interpretation is also part of integration. I want to understand the dream and to do this I connect the content of the dream with already formed knowledge and with experiences from the past that may have flowed into the dream images.

Implementation:

I usually leave the realization of my dreams to chance or to life. Dreams that really irritate or interest me make me ask myself questions like: Why am I dreaming this now? What do I do with it? How can I and should I implement the message in this dream?

When I have the necessary time, I sit down in a quiet corner, relax and imagine the connection from the Conscious Self, or “I”, (5) to the Higher Self (6), and enter into an inner dialogue.

The Conscious Self asks a question and listens. The Higher Self answers, by flowing into my Field of Consciousness or even by speaking through my mouth. In doing so, I am doing something that is part of my normal behavior, only more consciously and with a clear declaration of intent. To be honest, I would have to admit that I cannot know and state exactly how much the Higher Self and how much the Conscious Self have contributed to everything that occurs to me, to all my ideas and messages.

Interpretation of my dream using an inner dialogue

I could interpret my dream as follows:

Your journey may take you deeper than you expect. After all, the surface ofthe water hides what lies beneath it. Sometimes you have to go through adeep patch to find a place where your feet can touch the bottom. It's good totake advantage of all the opportunities for action that will somehow takeyou forward. It's good to join forces with women to strengthen yoursisterhood. Together you make it up a mountain to a house where healingtakes place. A person with a lame leg is waiting inside. The girl represents allpeople who need to find new ground and a new connection so that they canstart walking again. As you know from your own experience what stagnationfeels like, you can help and use your accumulated knowledge to show a new, unusual path. This will please the beings of the spiritual world, and you, too, will gain joy from your actions and from your journey into the future.

This requires that your emotions flow through you like the tears in thatdream, naturally and fluidly. Bring in your feelings and heal with your heart.

Touch and allow yourself to be touched so that the water of life can flowagain, in the form of heavenly tears that wash away the old and bring youand your fellow humankind a new clarity.

This journey and this task involve Joy. After all, Joy provided the basis for the healing tools described in the book.

CHAPTER 3: I WANT TO CONNECT
