This book consists of the wealth of advice given by Hazrat Ibrahim Haqqi Erzurumi to his loyal murid Mullah Halil of Avnik, after the afternoon prayer on a friday.
Adapted from Ottoman Turkish into modern Turkish and translated into English, this easy-to-read, concise book tells about rabita, tawajjuh, manawi states, getting close to Allah, talking to people at a level suited for their understanding, and the ikhlas of the murids.
Submission, visiting graves, patience, dhikr, irshad, good morals, and relationships with people are also among the issues mentioned in the book.
In this little book, which is a text on the manners and adabs of tasawwuf, the main issues that need to be taken into careful consideration are summarized briefly.
