Epilogue

Prologue – First Light

Before there was a name for wonder,

there was light.

A trembling fire in the dark –

stars stitching silence

into stories.

I stood beneath them,

small as dust,

yet certain the sky

was calling me

by name.

1. Origins and wonders

→ Awe of cosmos, creation and timelessness

Genesis of fire

The silent void lay cold and deep,

no song to sing, no dream to keep.

A spark arose, so faint, so small,

and broke the hush that bound it all.

It swelled to flame, a blazing core,

a star was born to burn once more.

So too the heart, its beating start,

awakens life, awakens art.

From dust and breath, from time and flame,

both soul and star ignite the same.

For fire of birth, both simple, divine,

is human dawn a stellar sign.

The Gravity of Silence

No sound is heard, no word takes flight,

yet silence builds the edge of night.

An unseen weight, a gentle sway,

it draws two drifting hearts one way.

Like hidden stars that shape the skies,

it pulls us close, though none replies.

In quiet space, our souls align,

your orbit slowly folds in mine.

No voice, no touch, yet still we know,

that silence speaks, and we must go.

For gravity is never loud,

it binds us soft, yet fierce and proud.

The Observatory Window

Through glass I gaze, the heavens near,

yet still they shine beyond the sphere.

A circle frames the endless height,

and turns the void to patterned light.

Each lens refines, yet cannot catch,

the boundless skies on skin attached.

For though the stars in silence glow,

imagination makes them grow.

The window shows what eyes can see,

the heart creates infinity.

Comets Tail

It blazes bright across the skies,

a whispered flame before it dies.

A fleeting arc, a silver stream,

a passing fire, a vanishing dream.

You reach to grasp its shining veil,

yet nothing lingers of the trail.

For beauty lives in moments brief,

a spark of wonder, some believe.

The comet fades, yet hearts still keep,

its memory burning, vast and deep.

The map no one can finish

I trace the stars with careful hands,

a chart of fire across the land.

Yet every mark I place is small,

the sky extends beyond them all.

Each line I draw, each point I claim,

reveals a endlessness none can name.

For every star that meets my sight,

ten thousand more escape the night.
