The second book in a series, that tries to help non-native English speakers to hold an everyday conversation. The conversations range from short to long and from easy to hard. This book as with the previous is for all age ranges and can be used in schools, at home or any place the reader desires. Each conversation is written using English, English and not Americanised English. The purpose of the book(s) are to give the reader a basic understanding, using mainly only 2 characters, (Aom and Joe). Some conversations in this book do include more than 2 characters and future books will start to develop group conversations. So please take your time, keep practising and enjoy.

Joe: Thanks! I have had it about a week now.
Aom: I think it must be the change in the weather?
Joe: Yes! I think you are right. many people have colds.
Aom: Have you taken anything for it?
Joe: Not yet? I am going to the pharmacy today
Aom:Well, I hope you feel better soon?
Joe: Yes, so do I. I hate feeling like this.
Aom:Would you like me to go to the pharmacy for you?
Joe: That would be nice, thank you
Aom: Would you like me to get you anything else?
Joe: Yes could you please buy me a box of tissues.
Aom: No problem.
Joe: It is horrible having this cold. A headache and my nose keeps running.
Aom: Ok! I will leave now and be back very soon.
Joe: Thanks Aom. You are very good friend.
It's so cold!
Joe: Hello Aom! Are you ok?
Aom: No Joe! It's so cold
Joe: It is 14 degrees, that's not cold.
Aom: It is for me.
Joe: In England this would be a warm day.
Aom: We are not in England Joe?
Joe: In Iceland this would be a hot day. Ha ha ha.
Aom: Have you forgotten you live in a hot country Joe?
Joe: How would you survive in England in winter time?
Aom: How cold does it get in England?
Joe: Sometimes as low as -5 degrees
Aom: O.M.G. I would die.
Joe: No you would not. You would just need to wear clothes that make you feel warm.
Aom: How do people stop feeling cold in England?
Joe: We have warm air heaters.
Aom: What clothes do English people wear, to stop feeling cold?
Joe: Wooly hats, gloves, a scarf and thick Jackets and long trousers.
Aom: I am still cold now Joe.
Joe: Go and put some warm clothes on then or go back to bed. Ha ha ha
Starting a business
Aom: Hi Joe!
Joe: Hi Aom. You look happy?
Aom: Yes! I have started a new business.
Joe: Wow! What is the business?
Aom: I am selling beauty products online.
Joe : What products are you selling?
Aom: Soaps and creams
Joe: Have you left your job?
Aom: No! I am still working, but selling the products part time
Joe: Do you have a website?
Aom: Not yet. I have just started selling them on Facebook to my friends.
Joe: That's a good idea.
Aom: Wouldyou like to buy some of my products?
Joe: No thank you Aom! I am a man and don't use beauty products
Aom: I will do a special price for you?
Joe: No thanks Aom. But I will tell my female friends about your page on Facebook
Aom: Thank you Joe.
Joe: Good luck with the business
I'm getting fat!
Joe: I'm getting really fat!
Aom: You don't look fat.
Joe: I am. I have put on 5kg in the past month
Aom: How much do you weigh?
Joe: About 95kg
Aom: What type of food do you eat?
Joe: I eat hamburgers and fast food.
Aom: That is the problem then.
Joe: I am too lazy to exercise.
Aom: Why?
Joe: I don't like going on my own.
Aom: I go to the gym three times a week for an hour
Joe: Really?
Aom: Yes! Why don't you come with me?
Joe: Great idea!
Aom: We can go to the market and buy you some fruit and vegetables.
Joe: I am not a good cook?
Aom: I will teach you and you can start eating healthy food
Joe: Thank you.
Aom: You will start to lose weight very quickly.
Joe: If I can get down to 85kg. I would be very happy.
Aom: Ok! We will start today.
