1: Black Star

Augustus was thinking. He was from the great line of Lucia, his grandfather Julius had risen from nothing to power, conquered Rome, the East and West of Europa, and the Britannian Isles, and made a pact with the people of Isles of the Kraken and the great druids, slain countless conspirators, his father Cyrus had taken ancient Persia by storm and showered them with fear. He had killed the trinity of power that was the Serpent, Anthoni and the Prince. And now he was left in the dust, with nothing to his name except the crimson ring. He needed to rise up and make himself greater than ever. Rayl was with him, as they had been exiled together by the conspiracy. They had been drugged during a feast, and as they lay unconscious they were moved onto a boat and left at the mercy of the sea. They woke up from the waves and swam to the shore, and were in a land that seemingly had no living people or civilization. They wondered where they were, but Rayl had learned astrology during his time in school and tried to read from the stars. He saw a black star among the brilliantly shining smaller stars, and then he knew where they were and what time it was. They started to hunt animals for food, find rivers for fresh water and chop down trees to create a boat to sail back on. Creating a sailing boat took longer than expected, as the right type of wood and fibre for the sails was hard to come by, but they managed to get on the sea within three months. The kingdom of Rivia was already burning in flames during their exile, as Persia had launched an attack and won against the Roman capital, but had not advanced to the North.

2: White Anguish

Rayl and Augustus sailed their way and found themselves at the shores of Northern Italia. They walked to the nearest town and hooded in cloaks, they asked a local where they were. They had landed in Firenze. They thanked the man and when he asked who they were, they gave false names as they suspected a greater coup and conspiracy. They walked into a local pub and ordered a couple of ales and chicken. As they sit down, they overheard a discussion with two elderly men talking about the state of Rivia and Rome. Augustus recognized the voice, it was no other than Kratos with his general friend. They asked to join the table, and Kratos soon knew who they were, and was in awe and silenced. He introduced his former general friend, who was named Levi. They spoke silently and discussed the Persian attack and rulers. They soon found out that the Persians had attacked hastily, and King Xerxes was under attack on his Persian kingdom: people from the East had launched a massive war against the ancient Persian kingdom, which had no defence. Xerxes had to leave Rome in the hands of his son and leader of the coup, Frank. Augustus sighed but then laughed maniacally. Now he had the names of people who he would question and slay. They further discussed matters of war and conflict, and they came to know that the people of Rome and Rivia were not fulfilled under the new rule and wished their Emperor back. Augustus smiled at the thought of giving the rulers hell and white anguish, how dared they conspire against him? Soon another hooded figure joined their table. It was an eastern man. He introduced himself as Jin, a thief. He had a lot of information and knew who the other hooded men were. The town of Firenze was invaded by his thief's guild, and he was looking to expand. He made a proposition to Augustus, and they made a deal. Augustus, Rayl, Kratos, Levi and Jin made a union.
