The recorder is a woodwind instrument that dates back to the 14th century. It makes a gentle, flute-like sound. When compared to other instruments, the recorder is extremely simple to learn, making it an excellent introductory instrument for children or inexperienced performers.

Recorders are known to be stepping stones to other complex blowing instruments that are generally placed vertically like the likes of clarinet and oboe and they come in a variety of colors and sizes to suit your preference.

To be able to play the recorder notes, you must first learn how to play the recorder.
