About the book:
Indian history is a very complex one, because there are so many issues that need to be revisited and revalued. This book of professor Sastri looks into some such delicate issues. Was Taj Mahal built for Mamtaj? What is kalapani? The half naked fakir, the history of cursed diamond, why Khulna district is in Bangladesh despite being hindu majority, Taimur's barbarity in India, the real story of thugs, the history of mysorean rocket, India's first armed freedom fighter, why we called Bharatbarsha and not only Bharat, the Naga queen who fight the foreign powers, the first to preach Indology in Europe and America before Swami Vivekananda and many such unknown or little known things that are stressed to be forgotten.
