The most easily confused cars are the 458 Italia, 488 GTB, F12 Berlinetta, and 812 Superfast. If you can tell these models apart from each other, then other models will seem easy to differentiate as well. If you're looking at the front of the car, you can tell the 458 apart from others by its unique features. For example, the hood is raised in the middle and near the headlights. You might also notice that these headlights look a bit like hockey sticks! Another identifying feature of this car is the Ferrari logo on the center of its hood. There's also a mid-bumper located in between to left and right side grills.
The 488 is unique in almost every way except for the headlights. Similar to its predecessor, it has a sleek shape; however, the hood curvature and bumper are entirely different. Along the outside of the headlights on either side of the car, there are large indents that continue down until they reach the front bumper - which itself is unrecognizable when compared to other models. There is now a separation in between where Ferrari’s frontline logo is placed just above it - it is no longer on the hood but right smack in the center of the new and improved front bumper area.
The 812 Superfast succeeded the F12 Berlinetta, just as the 488 GTB replaced the 458 Italia. The F12 is a very unique Ferrari. Starting with its hood, it's very flat and then raises towards the front at the headlights—although they still have a long shape like on previous models, they're wider. In the middle of the hood, there's also a vent. The grill has a large rectangle pattern instead of a smaller mesh pattern which makes this car easily distinguishable from others on the road.
The 812 Superfast's hood has a similar flatness to the F12 at the start; however, it then elevates towards the front, where its headlights are. There is also no vent in the middle but actually two next to the top of each headlight. The headlights differ in shape as well, looking like sideways golf club heads. Below this, you'll notice a large one-piece mesh grill piece that differs completely from its predecessor.
