Discourse are coherent statements about a subject matter. A discourse is generated by rules for making declaration that produce consistency and uniformity across different assertions. When the matter of discourse is blended with the matter of signifiers and signified in a post-structuralism approach, we can have a net of connected materials that can bring about meanings associated with a sign. And as Baudrillard has stated previously, the signifiers and signified have lost their true meanings through the lapse of time due to capitalistic and globalizing concerns. For instance, the sign "BLACK" is based on a 1950s -up -to -now -discourse, finds its identity in relation with matters like: fraud, sexual harassment and anarchism; and that is directly a result of an imposed political point of view and approach on the society.

Preface and Extended Analysis
Lets Wonder In Harlem: And Prometheus Fled At Dawn
Preface:
A diabolo, qui estsimia dei. "{Where God has a church the devil will have his chapel}"
This is the same story for the Muslims and Islam that have been directly associated with terrorism and hard-liners. What we try to say is that influential groups and cults all across the history have imposed their discourse on the society and the class of the common and middle in order to maintain their position and follow their concealed and folded goals.
Freemasonries, as they have decorated the cult, are a “beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols". Let us add the points that besides being beautiful, they are so influential and at the same time following some capitalistic gothic-flavored rituals and traditions. Being globally scattered, they hold the vital means of culture, industry, media and impose their discourse through important sources of advertisement and production; and for they are consist of empowered and celebrated people, the conscious of human beings set them automatically ( as a matter of psychology ) role patterns and models and they are followed and preached
without bother.
When I was told to write an article regarding the opening of the Gotthard train project and that symbolic play in the inauguration, the sparks of writing something rather dynamic was ignited in my mind. Analyzing a play and a symbolic show by resorting to a comprehensive play! That's exactly when the PROMETHEUS FLED AT
DAWN!
I have tried to categorize the important features of the play with adequate explanation for each section.
A) What does the subtitle say?
Let’s take a look at William Hansen book of classical mythology to know more about Prometheus.
In Greek mythology, Prometheus (meaning forethought) is a Titan, culture hero, and trickster figure who is credited with the creation of man from clay, and who defies the Gods by stealing fire and giving it to humanity, an act that enabled progress and civilization. Prometheus is known for his intelligence and as a champion of mankind.
Now, let's shed light on some key terms that have been marked red:
Idea of Heroism
The fundamental basics of illuminati and freemasonry cults were to guide the human beings towards the sublime goals set by the natural static figures of the ancient. Use of logic and positivism could bring perception for the mankind; a Perception that would secure their lives and bring them ultimate metaphysical and physical joy. The freemasons regard themselves as intellectual heroes for the humanity.
Building and construction:
The pervasive square and compass is the logo of the masonic creed. Both the square and compasses are architect's tools and are used in Masonic ritual as emblems to teach symbolic lessons. Some Lodges and rituals explain these symbols as lessons in conduct: for example, Duncan's Masonic Monitor of 1866 explains them as: "The Square, to square our actions; the compasses, to circumscribe and keep us within bounds with all mankind". However, as Freemasonry is nondogmatic, there is no general interpretation for these symbols (or any Masonic symbol) that is used by Freemasonry as a whole but based on some unsolicited sources, they can be regarded as the main tools that Hiram Abiff, the central character to the free masons.
Intelligence, means to progress and civilization:
Exercise of the intellect at the expense of emotions, the actual life of mind. Based on the masonic notions, it is the rationalism and the correct use of mind that can lead a society towards civilization. We know that they regard themselves to be the prophets of ascendance and transcendence. But were and are they?
B) Characters and summery
The characters have been mostly selected and expanded according to the actual figures. a separate monograph has been dedicated to characters and the summery.
c) What genre is applicable to the play?
Through the plays, we have tried to employ some terms from the early middle period upward with scene designs flavored with gothic like descriptions. Some dominant conversations are there which are set in biblical and classical antiquity; besides, the characters, time and place are all the actual settings dated back to the moments of incidents being narrated in the play. So, historical fantasy can be a suitable genre for the current piece.
D) Themes
1) Contradiction and paradox
The freemasons have based their doctrine on reason, logic and an eye-catching attention towards education; but we can ascertain that they still do advocate rituals and allegorical shows which are filled with gothic symbols. The cult advocates freedom yet they are in a race with other fraternal organizations to control people. The idea of equality has been of their hot debates but we witness that they believe a group of intellectual and enlightened people should guide and dominate others. They have problems with church and state as two sources which influence the freedom of thought and speech while they practice the same things in their own way. These were some examples of contradiction that one can find in this play if being read carefully.
2) The synchronic nature of time
In different parts of the play, we can read expressions stating the connections between past and the future. Anything that has happened in the past can find its consequences or its coincides in the future. Examples of this sort are William Morgan's monologues about the continuity of time and the Sophia's message that goes back in time despite happening in the future, past and future affect each other in different sections.
3) Freedom of speech and thought
We can trace this theme from the title of the play. Prometheus fled away to civilize and help mankind for a better expression of intellect and thought. When it comes to the matter of freedom, one should keep this in mind that we don't mean the masonic freedom but the liberty and the awareness that the anti-masons have brought up. like: Sophia's attempt to save mankind, W. Morgan's attempt to spread awareness, Weishaupt's main issue with the Church and the State.
4) Mystery VS. Reality
The made up fiction in the first act becomes a reality for the mason in the act fourth. The play evokes in the minds of the reader that maybe it's the fantasy and not-existing entities and materials that the masons have depicted as reality! The line between mystery and reality has been blurred in harmony with vague and mystical actions of the masonry in the play. Like on may really think something name "Shroud of Eden " may exist and the masons use that to control over people.
5) Honesty VS. Dishonesty
It is not distinguishable whether the highly self-admired notions of masonries for the sake of honesty or what they preach is a mixture of deceiving and not real materials.
6) exclusivism vs. inclusivism
This is the matter of few against all. The masonries were a small cult who always dreamed of controlling the mass.
E) Historical Background and the changed materials
What has been changed.
Weishaupt begin the illuminati in 1776 and Knigge joined in 1780. It was changed to shorten the play, as well as emphasize the dual nature of their doctorine, and emphasize the theme of contradiction/paradox (which is also reflected in their codenames, Spartacus (weishaupt) and Philo (Knigge))
Historical Background
-The illuminati seized power over masons in nearly all of continental europe (germany, france, Sweden, prussia, etc) and the Jacobin club in France became related through Comte le Mirabeau among others, source (http://judeo-masonic.blogspot.de/2010/02/illuminati-in-america.html)
-Tesla was picked due to representing the technology being seized and controlled by masons/illuminati. the halting of the wardenclyffe project is the best known scientific/technological event that demonstrates the unwillingness of the economic and political powers to allow freedom of power (and sharing of knowledge via connection) among people. also, his main antagonist, J. P. Morgan, is a well-known corporate mogul/ investor who was among the circle of J. D. Rockefeller, who is considered as a mason among theorists.
-last act is completely fictional due to taking place in the future (2022), yet the space programs and time table referenced reflects that of Elon Musk's Space X program (first launch in 2022, first colony set up by 2036).
-The kidnapping story of freemason, William Morgan in New York
-Turlow Weed, a real anti – Mason character who sent regular letters to William Morgan.
-David Cade Miller was a real newspaper publisher in New York who wanted to support and work with William Morgan.
F) Symbols, Allegories, Allusions and Analysis
We have chosen a variety of symbols, allegory and related analysis to illustrate the essence of the play in a better way. They have been selected from different scenes and acts. Some symbols and analysis are common among the scenes and have been used more than once in different occasions.
Act I
"Scene I"
-golden owl statue -> owl is a symbol of Minerva, goddess of wisdom, employed by illuminati as their own symbol. gold represents power, as well as enlightenment.
-globe of the earth -> foreshadows overtaking the earth.
-Omnia exeunt in mysterium -> all things end in mystery -> Weishaupt derides this Romantic thought.
-"What is enlightenment?" -> an essay by Kant, advocates freedom of thought and freedom of speech, also reflects Idealism.
-Feder -> Weishaupt's mentor and chief adversary of Kant. he did not believe in Idealism and advocated pure reason and Lockean empiricism
-the promised land -> reflects Knigge's obsession with religion, also reference to the U. S. which is thought of as the land of freedom.
