Who am I? Where do I come from? And where am I going? Eventually, most people will deal with these questions. What is the meaning and purpose of mortal life? Who is God and has He always existed? We humans observe the universe on a starry summer night and are amazed at how everything moves in such a perfect order. We look at the plant world in its infinite beauty and ask about evolution or creation. Is it all just a coincidence or is there a plan behind it? We marvel at the diversity of the animals and feel deep affection for them. Deep in our hearts, we recognize in all these things a perfect and creative Creator. We cannot explain it, we can only marvel and enjoy this beautiful world. But still, we long for answers. In this book we will try to give any. It builds a bridge between physics and religion and describes the course of creation, as well as the meaning and purpose of life. Eventually, we arrive at a loving Heavenly Father and His plan of happiness.

Acknowledgement and dedication

This book be dedicated to my parents, who raised me according to Christian principles. In addition, my parish, the Münster branch, was and is my strength and strengthen in all situations of life. I owe it to my sister, who inspired me to write a book about religion by writing her first crime novel.

I owe special thanks to a brother in the Gospel who proofread my first draft and contributed to the improvement of my manuscript through his professional suggestions and cuts. I owe a great debt of gratitude to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for using scriptures from the standard works of the Holy Scriptures and quotations from Church publications, Hermann Menge's 1939 license-free Translation of the Bible, and LDS BOOKS for using quotations from their works. I owe thanks to a brother from my community who has always supported me with positive words.

Chapter 1

Light and Truth

Since the beginnings of science, man has been trying to understand the origin of the universe. The questions that unite all people are those of why a universe exists, how and when it came into being, and whether there is a deeper meaning behind it. Science has reached a point where the HOW can be answered for the most part. But to understand the WHY and THE WHEN, we need to build a bridge to religion. But first we want to get to know the particles and forces of the universe a little closer.

To be able to describe the universe, scientists study which particles and forces there are and try to trace them back to ever smaller and simpler ones to understand the origin of all things. They explored the basic building blocks of matter, the atoms, and found an atomic nucleus and a shell of electrons. It was discovered that the atomic nucleus consists of protons and neutrons, and that these each consist of three even smaller particles called quarks.

The forces occurring in nature and in the universe were also simplified and reduced to four fundamental forces, gravity, electromagnetic force, strong force and weak force.

It was discovered that these four forces are caused by exchange particles called gauge bosons. Science is concerned with all elementary particles of the universe, and the exchange particles of the four Basic Forces, due to the smallest energy threads called superstrings.

Science tries to find an all-connecting force or "world formula" for the four basic forces, the "Theory of Everything". A formula that combines the four basic forces into a single force and with which all particles in the universe can be calculated. Widely accepted, but not yet mathematically proven, is the string theory, which can lead to a "world formula". It says that ALL particles and forces in the universe are made up of one-dimensional energy threads.

These strings are not particles in the classical sense, but smallest, vibrating energy threads that exist in an infinitely large variety in the universe and are no longer divisible but represent the smallest unit of the universe. However, they can be influenced from the outside by energy and stimulated to vibrate. They absorb energy and form the smallest, spherical particles. Whatever theory is true, it can be said that in all particles and forces, there is always order, symmetry and harmony. A god-believing person might conclude that just as the sides of a cello obey their master, all particles and forces obey their Creator.

Let us now take a journey back in time to the origin of the universe and find out what has always existed.

»[...] everything indicates that there is a God; yes, even the earth and all that is on its face, yes, and its movement, yes, and all the planets that move in their regular order testify that there is a Supreme Creator.« 1

»[...]. Intelligence or the light of truth was not created or made and cannot be created. All truth is independent in the realm in which God has placed it, and can act for itself, as can all intelligence; otherwise, there is no existence. The glory of God is intelligence or, in other words, light and truth.« 2

Intelligence exists in the universe. This was not created, but has always existed and consists of light and truth, where truth can act for itself and must be acted on light (energy threads)?

When light and truth combine, an intelligence appears that can act for itself yet is directed and shaped by God.

»And the light that shines and gives you light is through him who illuminates your eyes, and this is the same light that enlivens your understanding; this light emanates from the presence of God and fills the immensity of space— the light that is in everything, that gives life to all that is the law, whereby everything is governed, indeed, the power of God, who sits on his throne, who is in the womb of eternity, who is in the midst of everything.« 3

Let us come to the Light. Put simply, there is light (energy threads) and the non-visible light of truth (laws). If we assume that the light of truth is the "darker energy" present in the universe, we conclude that this intelligent force governs the whole universe physically, chemically, biologically, mathematically, and geometrically.

The light of truth (laws) comes from the glory of God and envelops, flows, and animates all the particles, forces, and energy threads in the universe, in nature and in all creatures, which becomes creation through a physical process chain from energy thread.

Light and truth is the origin of EVERYTHING that was, is and will be. Since the light emanating from God penetrates EVERYTHING, it can precisely control the processes in the energy threads, the formation of the particles up to the atoms, molecules, and molecular compounds.

God is omnipresent and can thus grasp and "see" the physical processes in the universe, as well as control them according to His will.

»He grasps everything, and everything is before him, and everything is around him; and he is above all and in everything, and is through everything, and is all around; and all things are through him and from him, namely God, forever and ever.« 4

»That God is omnipresent happens through the Holy Spirit, who permeates all things and is the life and light of all things. Through him, God sees, knows, and directs all things.« 5

If we want to combine physics and religion, we put forward the following hypothesis:

Through the power of God, he influences the energy threads in the universe with truth (energy). Due to this increase in energy, the thread shape is now too unstable. That is why the energy threads form into the smallest, spherical particles, because a sphere is the geometrically most stable form of matter.

Due to the different vibrational characteristics of the energy threads, different particles are created, just as the different sides of a cello produce different tones.

Depending on the oscillation, each energy thread becomes a specific particle, for example a quark, an electron, or a gauge boson. If quarks arrange themselves in two groups of three, two up quarks and a down quark (protons) or two down quarks and an up quark (neutrons), they form the atomic nucleus, and with the electrons (electron shell), controlled by the gauge bosons (force particles), the atoms, from which molecules and molecular compounds are then formed.

This is how one could imagine creation as a believer. Let us get to the TRUTH.

Put simply, truth is everything that is right and true. Truths include all the physical, chemical, biological, mathematical, and geometric laws of the universe, as well as the laws of all sciences and the building blocks of life of all creatures.

Truth (law) is in everything and gives life and drive to everything. The truths also include all the eternal laws of God, which are higher than scientific laws, and according to which God Himself, lives and governs.

Truths include all divine qualities, such as love, faithfulness, faith, hope, repentance, repentance, diligence, humor, knowledge, wisdom, holiness, reliability, justice, mercy, humility, gentleness, virtue, trust, sacrifice, zeal, forgiveness, purity, order, modesty, patience, discipline, goodness, sense of responsibility, power, authority, wisdom, strength, and many others.

But the truth is even more. Past, present, and even future is truth or will become truth. The latter is not tangible for us because it has not yet happened from our linear point of view. For God, who sees EVERYTHING at the same time as a Great NOW, it is already happening as if it were counter valued.

»And truth is knowledge of something as it is and as it was and as it will come.« 6

In search of a source, a creative origin, we discover a bridge between physics and religion and find a Creator. Let us imagine a beautiful painting that says to his painter: "You didn't paint me; I was created by chance". Or a perfect statue says to its sculptor, "You didn't knock me out of a rock, I'm a whim of nature."

Chapter 2

Spirit and Element

NAfter we as believers have traced the origin of all creation, we ask about matter. What is present in the universe? Can all things in it act freely and move accordingly? Is there chaos or order? What states prevail in the universe?

We now know that there are two things in the universe, light, and truth. We also learn about two different states in the universe. One can act itself, the other cannot.

»[...] for there is a God, and he created everything, both the heavens and the earth, and all that which is in it, both that which acts and that which is acted upon.« 1

The last sentence of this verse is made even clearer by an earlier translation from the basic text.

»[...] both that which determines his own actions and what is determined.« 2

What exactly can act on its own? And what needs to be influenced because it cannot act itself?

»[...]. Intelligence or the light of truth was not created or made and cannot be created. All truth is independent in the realm in which God has placed it, and can act for itself, as can all intelligence; otherwise, there is no existence; the glory of God is intelligence or, in other words, light and truth.« 3

When light and truth are connected, matter is created. This exists in two states, namely mind and element, so fine, spiritual matter, and coarse, physical matter, which can be connected or separated from each other.

»[...] Spirit and element, inseparably linked, receive an abundance of joy; but if they are separated, man cannot receive a fullness of joy.« 4

So, existence in the universe consists of truths or intelligences that are independent and can act in some way themselves. If we assume that light, so the energy threads, cannot act on their own, they must be influenced from the outside with the non-visible light of truth (laws), whereupon they become light and truth, an intelligence that can be commanded by God. The great Creator takes a truth (frequency) and thus influences a vibrating energy thread. Through the frequency (energy) of the truth, the energy thread "receives" its mass (energy), its charge (interaction) and its spin (intrinsic angular momentum) and thus becomes a certain particle or force particle.

This fusion of truths and energy threads creates the gauge bosons (force particles) that cause the four fundamental forces of the universe, the quarks (elementary particles) that form the atomic nucleus, the leptons (light particles) that form the atomic shell, the mesons (medium particles) and the baryons (heavy particles).

»There is no such thing as non-material matter. All spirit is matter, but it is finer or purer and can only be known by purer eyes; we cannot see it, but once our body is clean, we will see that spirit is nothing but matter.« 5

The spiritual, fine matter consists of strings with a lower vibrational energy, as if plucking the side of a cello more gently, creating a quieter tone.

Conversely, this would mean that the elementary, coarse matter consists of strings that have a higher energy level, as if plucking the side of a cello more strongly, making the tone louder. Furthermore, we learn that both spiritual and elementary matter, so energy strings associated with truths, have always existed and that they can be redesigned, but not destroyed.

They can be reshaped and reorganized by divine powers by connecting truths with energy threads, thus creating intelligences that organize themselves according to creation plans in such a way that a variety of different plants, animals and humans arise.

»[...], if there are two spirits, and one is more intelligent than the other, these two spirits, although one is more intelligent than the other, have no beginning; they existed before, they will have no end, they will exist afterwards, for they are n-olam or eternal.« 6

»The primordial substances have existed since God existed. The principles of primordial substances are principles that can never be destroyed; they can be redesigned and changed back, but they can never be destroyed.« 7

»The term "create" comes from the Hebrew "bara", which does not mean that something is created from nothing; rather, it means "designing, ordering, shaping", just as someone brings existing material into a certain order and builds a ship out of it. We therefore conclude that God had material to shape the world from chaos – from disordered matter, the elementary primordial material to which all glory is inherent.« 8

»[...]. These two facts are that there are two spirits, and one is more intelligent than the other; there is another one who is more intelligent than them; I am the Lord your God, I am more intelligent than all of them.« 9

Through the "spiritual DNA", the intelligences are formed into spirit bodies in the form of plants, animals and finally humans in the image of God, later – from elementary matter – the respective physical bodies. It is conceivable that the spirit body of plants, in total, has fewer intelligences and truths than animals and humans.

The spirit body of an animal, which has more characteristics than plants, should therefore have more intelligence and truth. The crowning glory of creation, man, would then have the greatest number of truths in his spirit body combined with energy threads. This makes man more in the image of God than any other creation. Existing matter, first fine, then course, is brought into an orderly state by the Creator. This is how creation works. Since intelligence can act freely in their field, the Creator must pay attention to how they organize themselves.

»And the gods had paid attention to the things which they had commanded until they obeyed.« 10

As already discussed, there is fine and coarse matter, which was created by the fact that existing energy threads connected with truths and became intelligences. The truth is a form of intelligence or intelligence.

An independent form of state that does not consist of energy threads, but of something we do not yet understand. Our own self is a truth or intelligence with the ability to act on our own. Or it is a combination of several truths, just as a person also consists of several qualities and character traits.

Everyone before his spiritual creation was a combination of several truths and qualities and has existed freely and independently in the universe and has been able to progress.

»Spirits are uncreated intelligences that inhabit a spiritual body, while "intelligences" are pure, simple, and intelligent beings, but they inhabit neither spirit bodies nor bodies of flesh and leg. They are uncreated and self-made beings [...].« 11

What exactly are these self-made beings? Are the intelligences the innumerable truths (light of truth) in the universe, which consist of themselves, are completely independent, always exist, have always existed, are always valid, never change, and according to which the gods themselves live? Do the gods influence the innumerable energy threads that exist in the universe and consist of pure energy with truths so that matter can generate itself? Do all intelligences consist of the same number of truths (basic truths) until they relate to light (energy threads) and these spiritual matter units were formed into spirit bodies, which are then also called intelligences (spirit beings)? Could they only distinguish themselves from each other as spirit beings and make individual progress, or even before that, when they were still unformed intelligences? Has all intelligence made collective progress by adopting "simple truths" to buy a basis of divine qualities and knowledge? Could the intelligences communicate with each other or interact in any way? Or only after they were formed into spirit bodies, and they could differ? In the creation of spiritual bodies, in the image of the gods, God created the respective spiritual DNA individually, so that a variety of spirit beings appeared.

Chapter 3

Our heavenly Home

After we were created as children of God, endowed with a spiritual body in His image, we lived in a heavenly home. In this premortal realm, we were able to prepare for mortal life. It can be assumed that our heavenly home is like earthly life both in appearance and in goal because the earth was created according to the pattern of our heavenly home. What did it look like there? And what did we do there?

»The heavens opened to us, and I saw the celestial kingdom of God and its glory. [...]. I saw the transcendent beauty of the gate through which the heirs of that kingdom will enter, and which was like circling flames of fire, and the radiant throne of God on which the Father and the Son sat. I saw the beautiful streets of that empire that looked like they were paved with gold.« 1

»In a vision I saw something infinitely sublime. In the distance I saw a beautiful white city. Despite the long distance, I felt as if I recognized an abundance of trees and flowers everywhere, hung with delicious fruits, bushes with beautiful leaves and flowers in full bloom. The open sky reflected these wonderful shades of color.« 2

Indeed, all the spirit children of God know »[...] every nook and cranny, all the palaces, paths, and gardens of this world [...].« 3

Since the earth was recreated from our heavenly home, we assume that life there was a school of learning for us that would lead us to reach divine qualities such as intelligence, knowledge, power, and joy. We assume that there was perfect instruction and instruction of a general and personal nature in many areas. Since the kingdom of God is a house of order, for the countless multitudes of spirit children, there were many, diverse organizations, and assemblies to learn structures and keep harmony and peace.

In our heavenly home, we were taught about the eternal truths and increasingly realized the meaning and purpose of an earth on which we should live and learn for a while. We learned that our eternal existence consists of three different periods of time, namely our premortal existence, our planned earthly life, and our post mortal existence. We also learned how these three stages of existence differ from each other yet complement each other and lead to our eternal goal. We realized that we could fulfill the full measure of our creation and experience an abundance of joy and happiness if we were to walk the path of an earthly life. Each spirit certainly received very personal instruction, and preparation, according to the expected tasks and living conditions, as well as the place and time of birth. This certainly also affected the spirit of children with whom we wanted to become a family. It may also have affected our strengths and weaknesses, as well as the gifts and talents we developed in our heavenly homeland and with which we were to be born. We were optimally prepared for our earthly life. We certainly also realized how much good we could do to other people to make them happy.

»Even before they were born, they received their first teachings with many others in the world of spirits and were prepared to come forth at the time appointed by the Lord and to work in His vineyard for the salvation of the souls of men.« 4

»And I give you the commandment to teach one another the doctrine of the kingdom. Teach diligently, and my grace will be with you, so that you may be instructed even more perfectly in theory, in principle, in doctrine, in the law of the Gospel, in all that concerns the Kingdom of God and what is advisable for you to understand.« 5

All spirit children understood that earthly life is the middle part of a three-part overall picture that began with the premortal existence, continues in earthly life, and leads to the post-earthly existence. We also understood that all three stages of existence serve to prepare for eternal life. We learned to know the covenant path that would lead us and our future families to eternal life if we were willing to walk this special path. Just as we were prepared for mortal life in premortal existence, earthly life would serve to prepare for after-earth life. It is conceivable that diligence, zeal, and faithfulness in premortal existence have a positive effect on our earthly life. We learned that the faithful, strong people would also experience problems, trials and sufferings and would even be tested very strongly, because on the one hand they would bring their spiritual strength from the premortal existence into mortality to be able to carry these trials, and on the other hand to be able to make even more spiritual progress, which would then lead them to their eternal reward. The not-so-zealous spirit children will be deprived of some of the blessings in mortality that need to be reappeared. In our heavenly homeland there was free choice and so also the principle of cause and effect. We learned that the choices we would make in the premortal homeland would have an impact on our earthly life and our earthly decisions would affect our eternity.

»For all who wish to have a blessing from my hands must observe the law intended for this blessing and its conditions, as established from before the foundation of the world.« 6

»For man to be free to choose, four conditions must be met: 1. There must be laws of a higher power that can be obeyed or broken. 2. There must be opposites: good and evil, virtue and vice, right and wrong. 3. Whoever claims freedom of choice must know what is good or evil, that is, he must know the difference between the opposites. 4. Man must be able to act without hindrance.« 7

For us to choose freely, we had to know about opposites in our heavenly home and learn their differences and attraction to us. The main forces of attraction in planned mortal life should consist of opposites so that we could learn and learn how our choices would guide our life course.

»Because it must necessarily be the case that there is a contradiction in all things. If it were not so [...], righteousness could not be brought about, not even wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor evil. Therefore, it must necessarily be the case that everything is composed of parts into a whole; for if something were of only one nature, it would necessarily have to remain as dead and would not have life nor death, nor dispersibility, nor incorruptibility, happiness nor misery, neither sensation nor insensitivity. But then it would necessarily have been created as something void; therefore, there would have been no intention in the purpose of its creation. [...]. That is why God the Lord has granted man to act for himself. But man could not act for himself if it were not the case that he would be attracted to one or the other.« 8

Through our freedom of choice, we have been able to reach diverse levels of progress. Therefore, there were certainly differences in the level of knowledge and knowledge between the spirit children. Certainly, all spirits were on the same page at the beginning, but by accepting or rejecting truths, some became more intelligent, nobler, and spiritually greater than others who were not yet ready to make further progress.

»Now the Lord had shown me, Abraham, the intelligences that were formed before the world was and among all these were many of the noble and great.« 9

As spirit children of God, we may have spent a lot of time developing, shaping, and combining our character. The Heavenly Father, with whom we spoke faceto-face, has helped us in these important things in a way that a loving, perfect Father to His children can be. He helped us to train our character to the point where we were more willing to live an earthly life. We were able to pursue our interests and train ourselves so far in the different areas that we could bring these talents and gifts into our earthly life. We may have spent time with music, art, physics, chemistry, biology and astronomy, garden design, architecture and nutrition, and many more beautiful tasks. We kept deep friendships with other spirit children and spent a lot of time with them. Certainly, we developed a deep affection and love for spirit children with whom we wanted to become a family, as well as with spouses and children.

We also learned about the great plan of happiness, which called for us to become like our heavenly parents. While we learned and completed tasks over a lengthy period, there were certainly many meetings in which we were taught and thus increased in perfection. We learned more about our planned mortal life and realized the difference between us spirit beings and our heavenly parents, who have perfect and glorified bodies.

We learned of the contrasts that would exist on earth, such as good and evil, light and darkness, joy and sorrow, justice and injustice, mercy and ruthlessness, health and sickness, and the many others. To develop faith, we would be given a veil of oblivion that would take away our memories of our heavenly home. This should lead us to faith completely uninfluenced. In the pre-existence we saw our heavenly parents, now we should learn to believe in them.
