Being the book two in a marriage series, this book is premised on the fact that God designed marriage to be fruitful. Therefore, this book is designed to show how this can be achieved.
However, for clarity and ease, the book is divided into four parts. Part one deals with the wife; Part two deals with the husband; Part three deals with the couple, while Part four deals with the Will of God in marriage.
The truth is, the compartmentalization of the book makes it easy for the reader to know their role in marriage and also avail them the opportunity to get the requisite knowledge needed to counsel people or couples who are struggling with being fruitful in marriage.
Also, the functional definition of the role of the wife, husband, and couple on how to become fruitful in marriage makes this book an outstanding resource.

Fruitfulness is indeed a major attribute of God. Undoubtedly, man was made in the image and likeness of God [Genesis 1:26]. Therefore, just like the almighty God, man is naturally expected to be fruitful. However, this is not often the case because our progenitor – Adam and Eve, offended God by eating the forbidden fruit – thereby withdrawing man’s otherwise natural privilege to be fruitful. Nevertheless, God in His infinite mercy provided a way of escape through sending His only begotten Son – Jesus Christ, to redeem us from our sins – thereby reconciling us back to God [John 3:16].
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
Fortunately, as a result of this, God restored the grace – for man to be fruitful! However, in order for man to bask in this grace, there are laid down conditions he must adhere to. Of course, primarily, he must obey God’s commandments at all times in order to enjoy the fullness of God’s grace to become fruitful. No wonder the children of Israel became fruitful when they obeyed God’s laws (Exodus 1:7).
“And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.”
However, the grace to bask in fruitfulness is not limited to physical or material possessions alone. In fact, it also includes being fruitful spiritually.
