I hum in your ear and you begin to settle into your slumber

I asked Him to send me a blessing

I asked Him to give me an experience of indescribable love

That in every breath you take all my dreams have come true

I held you in my arms for the first time I knew

Life is a composition of reflections understood backward

-The alchemy of Life

I would rather live in your memories than in your arms

Arms are mortal

You are the answer to all my life’s questions

I wade along the shores of your enchantment

Obediently I give chase

The sores under my feet give way and I take refuge on the street

Where once again

Yet

I can run no longer so I stop

I open my eyes

The shores of your enchantment

No less than the trees anchored by the roots of your life’s experience

When the wind of life blows your way

generation to generation

To till your mind and guide you through the journey of your life

Listen to the wisdom of those who hold their pain in silence

Tear down the walls you have built around your heart

Do not search for love

My silence shelters the weight of your spoken words

Others rising to the fountain of my eyes

Words are real

Where they shall remain the lone token of all our unrealized forever after’s

No one damages you more than the voices inside your head

Your wounds

Your fears

You

have

Be

-Manifestation

Each scar is a teacher to no more than its owner

How does it feel to love someone forever?

Does it feel like for the first time someone sees your innards and

What if to love someone forever is the feeling of familiarity that we have met before

At another place

What if it feels like a power greater than you and I has re-united us?

But what I know for certain is that

But I know we will always be forever

Will you understand what it means to be in love

If we never see one another again

I forgive you

I forgive you for words you never said

More importantly

I hope you remember me fondly

Today

I can no longer live with your shadow

With all our memories

With all that we will never be

Ones which I will work to fulfill

Today, I choose me

Move out

Ask her out

Delete that conversation

Say your dreams out loud

Love yourself

Take the loan to start your life’s next chapter

I broke barriers to be with you

But you never came

I broke into tiny fragments incapable of piecing back together

She is tall

She carries mountains on her shoulders with

Circumstances do not break her

But her heart remains soft

Someone being patient with you

Sometimes you can stand in a crowd and feel alone

A lost world waiting to be found

When you no longer compromise or betray

Your trauma is valid even if you never told anybody

I respect your decision to never look back

Now

You must respect my decision to choose never to take you back

You must respect that what we had was in the past and

You have lost

You have failed

You have sighed

But you never quit

But there will be new beginnings

If not in this lifetime

Let us meet again

In a fairy tale that ends in our happily ever after

-Unconventional Highs

Is somewhere between silence and knowing when to be silent

There is empathy

We have been conditioned to believe

We are told

Those pings of discomfort are a signal that something in your life has to change

To not do anything about it is not ok

She becomes a mother

Mothers are His servant and

The basic unit of life is memory

It falls on the surviving pieces of her heart

To pass forward her memories and

Our final destination

Breaking a good woman’s heart is deeper than you realize

It destroys her future relationships

Detachment does not mean you should not own worldly possessions

And never allowing attachment to consume you

It does not mean you were wrong for giving

You refused to dim your light

He shuffled his deck and

A

Clear is kind

-Warning Sign

Her hands

-His memories

But I am not out

If I speak my truth my tongue will burn

-Love Letter from the Broken Hearted

But flashbacks from your past will periodically arise

You did the best you could

Let your soul build and edit these cataloged life experiences

The fire of my past was worth each ember

Your love language represents the thing you did not get when you were younger

You did them perfectly

The type of kindness that consumes the giver and the taker

That the word recovery means

Can hurt you again

That there is always something bigger and grander to achieve

Giving your authentic voice permission to allow

What if the best version of you is who you are in this moment right now?

You cannot trust that someone will not betray you

You will take the decision that puts you first

Love is the desire to work towards the betterment of all things

Forgiveness is a form of letting go

You choose to not let the experience of being hurt

And infect your soul with bitterness

Sounds corny to the person who fears rejection

Sounds corny to the person who continues to hurt from a past hurt

Your fear is holding you back from writing the greatest chapter of your story

Temptation lures you to the wander of possibilities and potential spoils to be had

There are moments in your life where

The weight of giving up will begin to look inevitable

Do yourself one favour

Give yourself one more day

You are conditioned to collect material things for the purpose of

When those wants change

In the pursuit to own and un-own

Standing still

Age gleans its wisdom and

Enjoy the space between the something old and something new

Be clear to yourself

or

There is something to be learned from everybody

To experience pain does not mean it is your kismet

Despite carrying its dull ache

Keep moving

But

The Wrong turns

The Fire

You will leave behind as stories told long after you have departed

To choose a life partner is as equal of a choice as

You will not be understood by everybody

It does reflect your listener’s inability to allow challenge their construct of their reality

You will set yourself free from the grips of expectation

Your hard work

and

Be grateful to those who helped you along your way

Fill a glass with water

Pick up the same glass a second time

Continue to do so six times until you reach sixty seconds

You choose to pick up the glass

Your healing process must acknowledge that

No one is moving fast

But everyone is moving

Let practice make progress

Achievement is the cumulative result of all the turns along the way

It feels like each part of your body, mind, and soul shatters into pieces from which

It is the feeling of a never-ending fall into insanity and you’re not sure

Your joints hurt

Your mind is blank

not

Whatever you feel

Feel it

Acknowledge it

You have every right to process heartache as you wish

Come back

Love can be taught to feel painful

They cannot be separated from one another

Can you accept the existence of love and pain as

or

Unprocessed pain and

From generation to generation

Correct ineffectual styles of communication

In choosing to address generational trauma

I will take care of me for you

You may mourn a loved one

You may mourn a life partner

Not let your grief remain present in your life

It is not designed to make decisions for you

I saw her in a crowded room when our eyes locked for what felt like an eternity.

She would be the woman with whom I would spend the rest of my life.

It’s the end to the keeper of all your secrets

It’s an end with a person who is no longer your rock

Some friendships are better played out in silence

After which they retire to allow someone else to step in to

There is no shame in leaving behind a friendship which has run its course

Unexplainable fatigue

Shallow breathing

Our body is a temporary storage site of

By not allowing your brain sufficient time to thoroughly

You will continue to block parts of your brain from thinking about

Those memories will remain caged in your body and

Glean into what your body is trying to release

Sometimes when you are in a dark place

When actually you have been planted

Cares about what they have done to you

Cares how they made you feel

I give you my utmost respect

I will demand mine

No matter what happens in your life

-Fighter

Does not translate into what they will do for you

Healthy relationships do not have space for the labels of giver and taker

The most dangerous word that someone suffering in silence hears is

At least you have one child

At least you are still young

Do not underestimate the power of slow growth and slow progress

Depression which is managed is a message from your body

Depression that is managed is your body telling you

Depression that is managed is your body forcing itself into a state of rest

Tired of playing

To your life’s centre stage

Whatever pain you experience will last

A few days

Maybe a few years

When you stay stuck

You were not raised to stay stuck

Shouldering the direction of life

It is like walking through a fog

To turn when you resume walking

Will get you to where you want to be

What you know is that you must keep moving

-Fatherhood

I never forgot you

You are my days

You are my today

You are my forever

With gentility, openness, and honesty

When you step into your suffering

Gradually over time

You notice yourself becoming a better person

Good people into your life

in your wound is your power to heal

It feels like being suspended in mid air

When you left me

Where I remain suspended to this day

I never wanted to leave

I took a decision which you may not understand

-Dignity

You don’t need more of this

What you need to be is

In order to get good at something

To get better is in showing up when you would rather not show up at all

Waking up and

Do not under-estimate the value of your burdens and your responsibilities

One day those pressures of life will shine their light

Will walk further than

You will never achieve anything greater than your highest aspiration

A person who says they can and

Are both right

There is a difference between someone who hurt you by mistake

Hurt caused from a mistake can be forgiven

Memories will find you

How to Spot the Truth 101:

their life more

Pain is weakness leaving your body

A community is as good as its weakest

The mighty are meek

Deserve it the least because they are the ones who need it the most

Sit beside me

These long nights are meant to be spent with you

What your best looks like will vary day to day

Everyday.

I sleep a lot

Just the thought of coming back to you is warm

You are the dream that I never want to end

Your soft cries call for me to attend to you without delay

I hum in your ear and you begin to settle into your slumber

Each part of you is a marvel of the Creator

I asked Him to send me a blessing

I asked Him to fill my heart with fullness

I asked Him to give me an experience of indescribable love

Looking at your tiny hand wrapped around my finger I know

That in every breath you take all my dreams have come true

When our nine months were done and

I held you in my arms for the first time I knew

I sang you down from the stars

Life is a composition of reflections understood backward

But built from a collection of experiences lived forward
