Bessel Van Der Kolk's Point Of View

Bessell Van der Kolk, MD, is a trained psychiatrist. He specializes in post-traumatic stress disorder, which has led him to write more than 150 peer-reviewed scientific articles, most of which focus on post-traumatic stress disorder. Van der Kolk is from the Netherlands and was also president of the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, and he is presently a Professor of Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine.
