Soph Doph and Twinkle is a collection of short easy to read children’s stories, Soph Doph is a young girl with a passion for horses and has a love for twinkle her favourite horse. It can possible be transformed into one book however we plan on a few times jumps and adventures so we feel short stories are going to be better.
The adventures of Soph Doph is going to be co-authored in what will hopefully become a well renowned collection of short stories. Writing has given the whole family a release from the realities of family situation, that is our 2-year-old undergoing open heart surgery and having congenital heart disease.
It is overseen by Nick Baynham and Melissa Andrews and his children Emily Sophie Iyla and Violet an edited by Isabelle Waite Booth my 14-year-old daughter and has been proof read for approval and ideas by our other children and friends, it is based very loosely around our family Soph Doph actually being Sophie who Is another one of my step children whom has additional needs and loves stories. Soph is extremely excited about this idea and this is our first real attempt at getting something published we want to create a catalogue of children’s books as it is Isabelle’s dream to be a famous author so this collection of short stories whilst being a family activity is also our first attempt at getting Isabelle in to writing and Sophie engaged with us on ideas for her stories. I hope you enjoy reading these as a lot of time fun and effort has been put in to these. So please enjoy Soph Doph and twinkle.
These books have been inspired by our children. The family has a very poorly child who has required complex open-heart surgery and is left with lifelong cardiac care, I myself have a rare heart condition also, the children came up with all the ideas for the creation of Soph Doph and Twinkle they nowhere they want to take her adventures and this has given the family some kind of respite from every day hardship. We want Soph Doph and twinkle to be enjoyed by families together to be read in schools, and to allow fun freedom of dreams and escape in to the world of books. Or in this case Dreams or the world of Dream/ reality.
