AUTHOR

My name is Michele Accattoli. I graduated as a surveyor from the Istituto Tecnico per Geometri A.D. Bramante di Macerata in 2002. After two years of training and technical study there came a turning point in my career: I decided to take a job as a project manager for a construction company.

My fears were those of any other guy my age, with little work experience and even less in the world of construction, and thinking I was unable to get into that world; but I faced “the company” and embarked on a new path.

Only two years after graduation, I knew there was another story out there: there was no professor ready to interrogate you or give you grades; I didn’t have a year available to rectify my mistakes, there was only my future, and it was forbidden to make any mistakes and especially to repeat them.

With the help of my former classmate, who had already been working for 2 years with the same company, I embarked on this journey with a spirit of great sacrifice, with dynamism and above all with the passion of someone who has a great desire to learn and succeed in this business.

More than five years have passed since then, and I find myself writing this ebook with great pride, because I never imagined I could find myself describing all the “tricks” and tips to all those who, like me, are thinking of taking my same path, helping them to achieve their goal as quickly as possible to “BE A CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN.”
