Beschreibung

The world has grossly misunderstood the phenomenon of strength and being mighty, and seems to think that the act of enforcing wickedness rather than the use of love to ensure growth and sustainability is Might. The physical build is not strength, but the ability to endure and not only enduring, also being able to achieve heights in the midst of troubles, seeking and providing solution to problems that seems impossible makes one a mighty, the tools used to achieve those feats are the strengths of which some are discussed in this book the strength of the mighty.

The Strength of The Mighty

Nikade Etimide

Dedication

This Book is dedicated to all who know that peace is not the absence of trouble, but the ability to live around trouble without breaking and bending situations to their desire.

Foreword

It is the Authors firm conviction that strength is a function of the application of the knowledge of the word of God. The implementation of wisdom creates the mighty.

The Mighty is not the one who is big and strong but an achiever.

In this book therefore the author attempts to describe and present the tools one requires to be called a Mighty. Notably the strength of the mighty relies and flows from the virtues given to men by the Absolute.

Introduction

Strength is a human latent energy which is the inner power to go on, even when all seems impossible. It is the ability of a person or animal to exert force on objects using muscles.

An Individual's strength is determined by two factors; the level of determination recruited to generate action and the intensity of the recruitment. The ability to gain high levels of determination varies from person to person, based mainly upon the amounts of information and adequate opportunities.

In a world that everyone is virtually on his/her own the need to maximally use this latent energy is necessary to achieve good success. They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.

For one to be instructed to be strong means, things that will frustrate, demoralize, discourage will be experienced. One who tries a thing once and gets a perfect result easily may not need this, rather the one who with several trials, setbacks and faced with the alternative of giving up.

God ultimately is the strength of every successful or mighty one. He anyway only directs, instructs man to go through the path of might and only interferes in areas where man’s knowledge is limited.

When David was faced with how to cope with the loss of his family and the threat of his soldiers, the first thing he did was to strengthen himself in the word of God.

The story of Gideon in the Bible is of much practical importance. It is the history of one of those revivals in judges, so peculiarly applicable to the present circumstances and need of society. Israel had been sold into the hands of their enemies. Groaning under the consequences of their sin, they cried unto God and He ever, faithful, raised a deliverer to deliver them out of the hands of those that dominated them.

Gideon’s condition could not have been more abject than as described in verse 11 of judges’ chapter 6. Where he was threshing wheat to feed his family!

And the angel of God appeared to him and greeted him, “thou mighty man of valor,” while hiding from the enemy, which did not look like valor. To the human reasoning, this was everything that portrayed depression of spirit. But God’s mighty men have ever been such as were arrant cowards in themselves, men distrustful of their own strength and wisdom, in coping with the enemy, but out of weakness made strong.

Life was made to be complicated and so it brings all sorts of hardships. Things rarely go our way, and human beings are continually developing psychologically and emotionally. We can be very difficult to put up with at different times throughout our lives. We are most times the cause of great sorrow to others, rather than others to us. Hardships lead to sorrow, and sorrow in turn can lead to anger. Anger can lead to hatred, which in turn can lead to unjust injury, either verbal or physical.
