In crafting this book, my aim was to provide you, the reader, with insights garnered from both research and personal experiences. I delve into the nuances of exercising correctly, distinguishing between the right and wrong approaches. Additionally, I aim to redefine the concept of dieting and shed light on the importance of fasting in our bodies, all encapsulated in the title "Conditioning Yourself to Lose Weight and Stay Healthy: Grow Old and Healthy, my friend."
Between 2017 and 2023, this book came to life as a personal journey unfolded on its pages. It all began at 45, a time when echoes of my college days reverberated vividly. Back then, I thrived in the vibrant world of the Karate Judo Team, traversing city limits for tournaments, relishing the thrill of basketball, and cherishing every opportunity to exercise. But as the years advanced, the shadows of age started casting their cloak. My body, once resilient, began to succumb to the weight of time. Weight piled up, health issues arose, and the relentless demands of family life took center stage. Responsibilities as a husband and father loomed large. Before I realized it, my health slipped through my fingers, besieged by the weight of high blood pressure, stress, and anxiety. This book encapsulates the saga of navigating these turbulent waters over six years, a narrative I share in the hope that my journey might light a path for others facing similar tides.
