This book is dedicated to SheilaV. Roberts, who God lent to me for 137 Seasons, 413 months. She was the heartbeat of my love, the rhythm of my pulse, and the GiftGod overwhelmed me with. The woman God pointed out to me in a liquor house, and in no uncertain terms, proclaiming in an audible voice: “There is your Wife” as she walked by with a hairstyle that I wasn’t feeling. So, I immediately retorted back with a beer in my hands: “I ain’t looking for a wife.” And again, that voice declared to me with sublime authority, “THEREISYOURWIFE.” One month and twenty-five days later, we were married at the Justice of the Peace. She was my Wife for 34 and half years.

And even though she was called home on June 29th, 2024, she will always be ‘is’ in the present and will never be ‘was’ in the past tense. She was indeed my Wife and the apple of my eye. She was the stone on which God crushed me, shaping me into the image of Christ as I pressed toward the mark of the Husband made for her. She was surely in Christ, the tool that showed me the way to manhood. So that as her man, I learned to break free of my childish ways. ThisBook is a glimpse into my journey, not only as a servant of God but that of a man learning how to become one in the Spirit with his rib, a wife just for me. Yes, Sheila was indeed bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh, and without her, this testimony of our ‘faith walk’ as One, would not be possible, and this true story, “ASheep’sFaithJournal” would not be told.

introduction

The FoundationalCornerstones for this Book: In the pages of this Book, I have copied my own spiritual thoughts, discernments and other nuggets that have helped me through, and in the now of my faith walk home, as I make my way through “the valley of shadows and death.” Always contending for my faith, as I press toward the eternal glory of Life in Christ. In this Book, there are two “foundational scriptures” that I deem to be the two pillars, or the true “Cornerstones” that give structure and support to all that is comprised within its pages. It is for me, a Book of prayers, poetry, psalms and supplications. And as well, it is a compilation of many scripturally discerned interventions that have aided me along the way and to this day continue to assist me in my faith walk, as I press onward to know more intimately the Father. And in this testimony of my journey, there are Spiritual insights revealed to me that still have not manifested nor divulged unto me their mystery, hence I have concluded that they are more than likely things that may sooner avail themselves to you, the reader, even before they appear to me for my good. Yet, I do not measure what has helped me, as some new doctrine of God, but only the tools that have allowed me to remain faithful to the cause of Christ. No, they may not be on the same level as were revealed by the Holy-Spirit in the equipping of the Saints with the Word of God, which was given to HolyMen as the Word declares. (2Peter 1:20)

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation —For the prophecy came not in old time by the will ofman: but “HolyMen of God” spoke as they were moved by the HolyGhost. And so the reason that I am led to write this Book of; ‘MyFaithWalk’ as a sheep, is so that whatever I’ve received of the Lord to my benefit, and or to the benefit of the reader can be exhausted unto the exploitation of the goodness of God in the life of the believer.
