DEDICATION

I dedicate this book to my beloved mother, Madam Mary Esu. She has been my support system from day one and still counting.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

To God be the glory; He is the Author of knowledge. The inspiration to compile this for the benefit of mankind came from Him.

I want to express my gratitude to my mentor and benefactor, Engr. (Dr.) Enediabasi Etangetuk, who has been one of my support systems these past years. I also want to thank my academic mentor, Ismail Surjudeen Owolabi (popularly called Fish Ph.D).

My sincere gratitude extends to Barrister and Mrs. Eno Torosco Eyene, for their immense support.

PREFACE

The environment I grew up in was such that it was difficult to understand the future and life generally.

My primary school, and part of high school education, were guided by absolutely no one. This resulted in a dull early education experience.

It was bad to the extent that I did not know about higher institutions during high school. After realizing this setback, I started moving closer to people who could guide me.

Not only that, I made sure they were people with well-informed backgrounds. It was then I started learning about higher institutions.

However, the inspiration to write this book came from reading novels. It motivated and inspired me to attach myself to people with good educational backgrounds at a tender age, even though I was not exposed to civilization because I was born and brought up in the village.

Before you can be motivated, something must inspire you. Motivation is not a natural phenomenon; it can come through reading or other means. If you are yet to be motivated, it means you are not yet inspired, thus you need something to inspire you.

I saw hustling as one of the important things I could do to sponsor myself in school, with the assistance of my beloved mother. But a time came when I realized that to hustle is not the ultimate, there has to be a purpose, something specific to venture into.

It was at this point I saw leadership as my purpose. I thought of bringing ideas into reality and making them known globally.

Before this time, I never disclosed my purpose to anyone, not even my parents.

After some research, I discovered that the best thing I could do was to be a reader. I then rearranged my library and stocked it with books written by great authors.

My purpose as a leader was why I switched from being a science major to Social Science. I still find this difficult to disclose to people, except for a few.
