To the One who reconciled the world to Himself—
Thank You, Lord, for Your unfailing love, mercies and grace.
And to all who long for peace, healing, and restoration—
May this book guide you toward the hope and unity found in Christ.
Reconciliation is a word we don’t hear many people talk about today. Yet, reconciliation is the very heartbeat of God. When we read the Bible from cover to cover, the very essence of the Holy Scriptures is about Divinity reconciling humanity. Scriptures declare, “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” Thus, reconciliation is the process by which God and people are brought together again.
The Bible teaches that God and man are alienated from one another because of God’s holiness and man’s sinfulness. Although God loves the sinner, it is impossible for Him not to judge the sin. Therefore, in biblical reconciliation, both parties are affected. Through the sacrifice of Christ, humanity's sins are atoned. Through atonement, a relationship of hostility and alienation is changed into one of peace and fellowship. It’s unfortunate that many believers will never really grasp the true concept of reconciliation. For this very reason, I recommend “Be-Reconciled” as a must read manual to discover God’s plan to reconcile humanity back to Himself.
Carey Ross explores the concept of reconciliation from various angles and different perspectives throughout the Scriptures to help his readers truly discover what God has made available to every person that comes to Him through His ultimate sacrifice, Jesus Christ. As you delve into the pages of this book, you will discover humanity's desperate need to reconnect with their Creator, as a result of disobedience, and God’s plan of reconciliation as the only way. “ Be-Reconciled” is also a practical guide that gives its readers step-by-step instructions on how to bring about reconciliation to any broken relationship.
It’s not just the call to be reconciled back to God the Father, but within its pages it gives its readers the charge to pick up the transformative message of reconciliation and share it with others so that they may experience the transformative power of the Gospel in their personal lives. The word reconciliation in the Greek means; to bring about change or to be totally changed. Reconciliation has the power to touch every area of your life, ushering you into a life of peace.
I am honored to have been allowed to write this forward and recommend this book to anyone seeking to deepen their understanding of God’s plan of reconciliation. Join the author on this journey as he seeks to give you a greater understanding of the elusive concept of reconciliation and what it truly means to be reconciled. As you immerse yourself in the chapters of this book, may these words ignite your passion to embrace the Biblical wisdom shared within its pages to discover the transformative power of reconciliation. May Be-Reconciled bring about a total change in your life.
