5-MEO-DMT: THE WORLD’S MOST POWERFUL ENTHEOGEN, THE CROWN JEWEL, God’s molecule; the tool that allows us to experience in full what we truly are – the divine light of God that is the source and substance of all reality, the revelation of that which truly is.

This is the story of one man’s journey into the pure light of being. Like many who have experienced the grace and power of 5-MeO-DMT in the form of the secretions of the Sonoran Desert toad, Dr. Gerardo Ruben Sandoval Isaac has chosen to share his most profound experience with others, both through providing 5-MeO sessions with patients and through the present work.

His story begins with his search after the magical peyote cactus, initiating his journey into the world of entheogens at the young age of 13. A seeker of knowledge, the as-yet-to-be Dr. Gerry dives fully into the quest for experience of the mystical, magical, and inner-knowing made possible by entheogens, pursuing LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, and Salvia divinorum, while simultaneously earning a degree in medicine, ever seeking his place, his purpose, and the fullness of his being.

When events turn dark, he eventually turns to more destructive substances, even becoming addicted to crack. What turns his life around is his experience with 5-MeO-DMT, the most astounding entheogenic substance available to humanity. Now, he has embraced sharing its wonders with the world as his mission. As he expresses, now, more than ever, is the time in which humanity needs this medicine.

If anything has the ability to help humanity turn the corner of its current misguided and destructive ways, it is 5-MeO-DMT. Nothing else has such radical and effective power to rip away the multi-layered masks of illusion and false identity that humans have created for themselves; to starkly, lovingly, fiercely, and powerfully reveal the true divine nature of all reality. Underneath all the confusion, all the games, all the projections, the hate, the fear, the attachments, the judgments of self and other, there is only God – one eternal being of pure energy, light, awareness, and infinite love. It is the birthright of every human to experience this reality for him or herself, for this is what we truly are. 5-MeO-DMT is the ultimate tool for helping individuals to realize this. Such truth cannot be taught, cannot be simply believed – it is something that can only be genuinely appreciated through the vehicle of direct experience. 5-MeO-DMT makes this possible in a way that is incomparable to any other method in its efficiency and immediacy.

Entheogens have the power to turn a life around. 5-MeO-DMT just might have the power to turn the world around. As Dr. Gerry writes, there is nothing that is “unnatural” in the unified reality that is God. That 5-MeO-DMT so radically affects human self-awareness is something profound about reality: the key to understand the origins of everything, including the individual self, is right here, and every human who desires it should inherently have the right to experience it. Anyone who has had the opportunity to experience 5-MeO-DMT knows this is it. This is the reality of who and what we are. The big bang, the divine light of creation and all being is right here, right now, in this experience, and it lived in this very being in which each of us is found living through.

In the world of entheogenic literature there are only a handful of authors who have written at any length on 5-MeO-DMT, including myself, James Oroc, and Ralph Metzner. It is a pleasure to see that we can now add Dr. Gerry to the slowly growing list of those who share knowledge of the most profound molecule with the world. This work here is personal, tragic, ecstatic, reckless, and healing. The entheogenic path of self-knowledge is always an unusual one, with many strange twists and turns along the way. For those committed to truth and genuine being, however, it is invaluable, and holds the greatest of gifts, as Dr. Gerry learned – the revelation of the divine nature of everything and the universal Self that is God. That such a gift can come from the secretions of a desert toad is perhaps one of the greatest cosmic curiosities of existence – who would have guessed that a toad might hold the key to the ultimate transformation of human life? As I wrote in my novel Beyond Azara: “no one suspects the toad”.

It is a pleasure to see Dr. Gerry sharing his light, life and insights with all of us through this book. The time is right for the world to know about 5-MeO-DMT. The perspective of a doctor, who has passed through his own journey and his insight through healing others, is an important addition to the records about entheogens. We are on the brink of a radical change in human culture in the modern world – a time when entheogenic medicine is accepted and given the legitimacy it so rightly deserves. Entheogens can assist in the healing of mental, emotional, and physical disorders. Most importantly, they can help individuals transcend the false realities and assist in the ultimate healing that comes from direct experience of the divine nature of being. There is no time to waste. This is the healing the world needs, and we can thank Dr. Gerry for doing his part as a vehicle for the infinite light that we truly are. Let there be light. The page with which the Genesis Book begins is not a mere history of a fact or event that happened once, but the revelation of the creating forces and the continuous unfolding of the being.

The six days of Moses are the six lights in which the seventh represents the splendour. It is the genealogy of ideas that take form in the order of the everlasting symbolic numbers.

On the first day, the unity of the primal substance manifests itself, which is light/life, and comes out of the shadows of the unknown.

On the second day, the two forces reveal themselves in the sky and the consolidation of the stars.

On the third day, the distinction and the union of contrary elements fecund the earth.

On the fourth day, Moses attributes the quaternary traced in the sky by the four cardinal points in the circular movement of the earth and the stars.

On the fifth one, what must rule appears in the elements; that is, the living soul.

On the sixth day we see the birth of man, and animals as his auxiliaries.

On the seventh day, everything works; man comes into action and God seems to rest.

THE IRRADIATION OF A GREAT THOUGHT OR A POWERFUL IMAGINATION IN MAN DETERmines an attractive whirlpool that gives origin to planets to the intellectual sun, and satellites to the planets. A great Man, in the sky of thought, is the light of a universe.

FROM BIOPHOTON EMISSION (DISCOVERED IN THE SEVENTIES BY GERMAN PHYCISIT Fritz Albert Popp) resonating in coherence with the zero point field or Akashic field (Mind of God), to super-radiance in which biophoton light pulses through the body via microtubules which resonate in coherence with each other, thus allowing cells to communicate instantaneously; these microtubules represent the internet of the body in which every neuron can log on to the same time and speak to every other simultaneously via the quantum process within.

It has been suggested that the visions induced by DMT are the result of this biophotonic light emission from our DNA, which makes it possible for shamans to access a vast library of common planetary knowledge being shared between all living things in this Gaian web of biophoton emissions. Relation to the DMT experiences lies in the fact that the light present in biophoton emission and superradiance is assumed to originate from within the zero point field (ZPF). Coherence with the ZPF posits an explanation for the amazing coherence of the body, where trillions of cells (far more than the number of stars in the Milky Way galaxy) and millions of antibodies coexist at any given time to produce thousands of biochemical reactions in the body, each and every second, and they precisely and almost instantly coordinate so that they maintain the dynamic order of the whole organism. This is a term medically known as homeostasis.

INSTEAD OF AN ABSOLUTE SPACE AND TIME FILLED WITH AN ETHER THAT SUSTAINS the epiphenomenon of light, light becomes the fundamental thing whose propagation determines the flow of time and the weave of distance. We can almost say that light creates space-time. I suggest here that light, in form of a universal electromagnetic zero point field, also creates and sustains the world of matter that fills space-time. Thus the words “Let there be light” from the Bible may express more than a poetic mythology after all.

WE ARE IN FACT MADE UP OF LIGHT: EVERY ATOM IN OUR BODY (AND OUR WORLD) originated in the last gasp of a dying star, which threw the remains of its energy out into the galaxy in a cloud of rare elements. Our own sun creates and sustains life on this planet through its daily bombardment of solar energy. The energy from the food we eat is essentially stored sunlight. Fossil fuels that we’ve tapped to create the industrial revolution and our consumer society are the culmination of millions of years of sunlight stored in the Earth, (a vast sea of irreplaceable stored energy, which soon we will have managed to exhaust – taking just over 200 years to do so).

We are beings of light, created and sustained by a star. Every culture has intuitively recognized this and credited that light is the source of our own divine nature. Creation mythology, common through much of humankind’s history, credits the birth of matter: a reality out of void or darkness, from which a divine spark of light leapt forth.

The ancient Egyptians (c. 3000 BCE) believed that a person possessed a body of light and a body of flesh. Each body needed the other in order to function as a human, with the body of light animating or correcting the physical body. The Tibetans assert that in the bardos – the intermediary states between dying and rebirth – we possess a body of light with which we can cross time and space as fast as a thought.

Mystics have attributed an understanding of the divine knowledge of that light, and both have become inexorably entwined. References go to the esoteric Easter philosophies of Hindu and Buddhist teachings, also in Jewish Kabala, Greek Hermetisism, Islamic Sufism, and in the New Testament: “This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is Light, in him there is no darkness at all” (I John 1:5).

THE INFORMATION OUR BRAIN RECEIVES ORIGINATES NOT ONLY IN OUR BODY, BUT comes from all over the world. The brain’s ten billion neurons, with 10,000 connections each, constitute the most complex system of electronic organization in the known universe. This system, which operates at the edge of chaos, receives and transforms information from our own body, as well as the electromagnetic acoustic and other wave fields in our environment. It also receives and decodes information from more subtle fields, including the vacuum’s ZPF. Potentially, our brain connects us with the wide reaches of the cosmos.

As mystics, prophets, and people of insight and sensitivity intuited through the ages, our brain is an integral part of the universe and our mind is a potentially open window to it. It is up to us to throw open that window to the full extent of our remarkable but hitherto largely unexploited physical and mental capacities.

SINCE MIND TRAVELS AT THE SPEED OF LIGHT, NOTHING IS FASTER THAN THE MIND. Consciousness is capable of moving at speeds faster than light.

Pure energy as it exists at the quantum level does not have time or space but exists as a vast continuum or fluctuating charge. We are, in a sense, time and space. When we bring energy to conscious awareness through the act of perception, we create separate objects that exist in space through a measured continuum. By creating time and space, we create our own separateness.

Consciousness may be an effect created by the interaction of the ZPF with the matter of our physical body.

The purpose of matter (which is light moving slower than light speed) is to slow mind (in the form of light) down –by giving it mass our inertia– and in doing so, creating time, the physical universe and the apparatus of consciousness (mind with a small “m”) to realize this creation. Thus matter plus mind is equal to consciousness (m), while space (s) and time (t) is equal to light (c) moving slower than the speed of light (v) of (c)

Conversely when mind is free of its interface with matter, it has the capacity to move faster than the physical speed of light. In that scenario, time and space (as we experience them) would no longer exist.

We are like a radio tuned in to the zero-point field, resonating with the vacuum energy. Every atom in our body is quivering with that energy and literally bringing that energy across, as light, into material existence, very much like the ancient Egyptians postulated. This is the light I believe I encounter during a 5 MeO-DMT experience: a highly coherent light emitted via the neurons in my brain and my DNA, which originates from the other side, from the quantum vacuum, the void. It is the light of both, creation and consciousness, a pure stream of coherent photons in resonant harmony with the emptiness of the “vacuum energy” of the zero-point field. I believe this is the Tibetan light or Rigpa, the true nature of the mind that manifests spontaneously and blazes out as energy and light, and the same tunnel of light that people report from near-death experiences. This is the ultimate light, the light of creation, of mysticism, of religion, of information. As my consciousness leaves the confines of the physical world during a 5MDE (5-MEO DMT experience) and resonates in reunion with its original source, I briefly cease to exist except as that light. In the classical mystical sense – the light and I are one.
