It was midnight when Mariah and Mr. Jefferson secured the restaurant before going their separate ways. Mr. Jefferson owned the restaurant for over 15-years and he'd seen waitresses come and go but there was none quite as exuberant as Mariah, who worked for him for 8-years. She was a very jovial, coquettish yet, an attractive waitress with a body of a goddess.

“You sure I can't drop you off at home?” He asked.

“I'm sure Mr. Jefferson. My ride will be here soon but thanks!” She ambled over to the corner bench beneath the lighted lamp post in front of the restaurant.

“All right then, Goodnight!” He hopped into his shiny pickup truck and drove away.

Mariah sat and waited for 30-minutes for her unreliable boyfriend, who was always late picking her up, in fact, to describe his character, he was never timely and a rather indolent kind of guy. He spent most of his time drinking beers and watching football more than anything else. Surprisingly, he did have a job but no enthusiasm, dreams or aspirations other than the steamy pleasures in the bedroom of which she relished.

'Ughh!! I can't take this anymore! As soon as we get home, Bernie is going to have to leave my home tonight!  It's over!!'
