Those Eyes!

“Going down?”  He asked her.

“Oh no, not him!”   She thought quite hesitate of entering the elevator.

“Yes, thank you!”   She replied.

As the elevator doors swiftly closed she glanced down at her feet, yet she could feel his eyes on her.

“I guess it was bound to happen one day. Out of all days, I’ve been fortunate enough to avoid being in the same room with him let alone on the elevator. Oh God, why tonight when I’m all alone?” She feared.  She would rather be in the elevator with anyone else other than him.  She heard the rumors of how he talks dirty to the women in the elevator then pushing up on them.  She did not want to initiate any conversation with him; she just wanted that elevator door to open quickly.  As she glanced up to see how much longer it would take to get to the 8th level of the parking garage, she could still fell his intense stare out of the corner of her eye.

His name was Jerome Taylor, Executive Administrator to Bob Tate CEO of the Advertising Agency.

“Oh please hurry! Why did I get on here with him? I swear if he tries anything I’ll stab him with this nail file in my coat pocket.”  She thought.

The doors finally opened as he reached in with his hand to keep the doors from swiftly closing on her when her heart freaked.

“You have a good evening now!” He said.

She gently turned to look into his eyes and said, “Thanks – you too!” Then the doors swiftly closed behind her.

She felt a sigh of relief that Jerome didn’t try anything with her just in case those rumors turned out to be true.

“Let me get to my car.” She thought to pop the trunk to put in her belongings.  Immediately getting in locking her doors and while cranking up the car her cell phone rang when she reached into her coat pocket to answer it.

“Hello! Hello! Hello!!” She voiced but received no response.

She put the car in reverse, backed out then drove off not noticing from the dark shadows of the upper parking ramp opposite of where she parked, a pair of piercing eyes stared.

Brooke Miller was a very attractive young Advertising Executive for a large Advertising firm. She had the flare, personality; there was a certain energy she presented when she entered the room; she was bound to get your attention.  Everyone loved working with her, mainly the men of the firm.

Robin Slade another attractive Executive worked closely with Brooke on many advertising assignments. She admired Brooke’s work but envied her stylish charisma and how she interacted with the men of the firm, not enticingly playful but in a positive and professional manner rather than the coquette qualities of which Robin demonstrated.

Brooke arrived at her office early the next morning. The front desk receptionist wasn’t in at that time so Brooke went through all of her messages that remained from the day before then she went into her office and closed the doors to work on a campaign ad.  Mysteriously, from outside her office doors, a pair of piercing eyes peered in watching her every move around the office.  Her Administrative Assistant arrived and swore she saw someone snooping through the glass door of Brooke’s office and while turning on all the lights to the office area, she watched as they disappeared around the corner heading towards the stairwell.

“Good morning Brooke!” Tiffany spoke entering Brooke’s office bringing her a fresh cup of coffee.  Here are those reports that printed up overnight, also don’t forget your 10:00 am meeting with Mr. Scales and his group from General Mills this morning. Now is there anything else I can get you?” She asked.
