"Do not write any book on me," Gharib Nawaz once told His disciples, "or else the people of India will consider me a God because they worship anything that has power," so there was no writing for 250 years, after which people began writing down his biographies as the world needed to learn from his teachings, until we Mujawirs, (Gaddi Nashins) promoted his teachings orally, which we learned orally from our ancestors.

About the author:
Syed Ali Hamza Chishty (Shah Hamza Chishty) is one of the  Syedzadgan (Priest) at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishty's Holy Shrine, also known as Gharib Nawaz. His philosophy-based approach to teaching Mysticism garnered him recognition both offline and online. At the age of 23, his Peer Syed Aal E Ahmed Shah granted him Khilafat. His Spiritual Silsila is Chshtiya.
His Grand Spiritual Teacher was Ghulam Moinuddin Chishty Taunsvi.
apart from spirituality he is website developer, His hobbies includes Shayari, and his pen name is "Zari."

I'mgratefulthatyou’rewillingtospendmoneyonspiritualityinamaterialisticworld,asevidencedbyyourpurchaseofthisbook.Inmycapacityasapriest,IamfrequentlyaskedaboutGharibNawazandhismessage,Behavior,teaching,phillosophy,etc,andIanswerthemall,butittakesmealongtimeandIcanonlyexplainasmallportionofwhathetaught.PeoplewhowantstolearnaboutGharibNawazandhisshrinewillsurelygettheanswersfromthisbook.
TherearenumerousbooksaboutGharibNawaz,andeverybookdiffersonatleastonepointwithother,Becauseweliveintheageoftechnology,wecangeteverythingweneedatthetouchofabutton;itwasmuchmoredifficultbeforeusorevenimpossible.SoIresearchedeverydetailandcompletedmyresponsibilityofcomposingabiographyontheSubcontinent'sholiestSaint.Apartfromliterature,asIpersonallypossesstheKhilafatofSilsilaeChisht,Iamawarethatthereisalwaysinformationthatcanonlybeobtainedbywordofmouth, persontoperson.asGhalibsaid;

Imustsaythattherearemoreinformationandmoreaccurasyinthisbiographythat nonofthepreviouswrittenbiographieshave,because nowdaysit iseasytogetinformationinyourfingertipswiththe helpofinternet.
"WehaveseizedthelandofIndiaandsubsequentlyruledit,"GeorgeCurzenremarked,"butIseeaGraverulingtheheartsofthepeopleofIndia."
IftheArmyofGhourhadnotinvadedIndia,IbelievethatpeopleofIndiawould'vehavestartedtoworshipGharibNawazasagod.asGharibNawazonceremarkedtoKhwajaFakhruddin,whowriteshisteachings[GulzariAbrar],"OhFakhruddin,donotwritethemiracleswhichGodperformsthroughmyhand,becausehere,peopleworshipanythingthathaspower,andafterIdie,iftheseknowledgewillbeacquiredbypolytheists,theywillstartworshippingme,"ThisiswhyKhwajaFakhruddindidnotchronicledhisteachingsbutpassedthemdownfromgenerationtogenerationthroughhisdescendants,asitwasstatedintheSahibzadgansociety.
Eventoday,themajorityofHinduswhocametoshrine,keepaportraitofShrineofGharibNawazintheirtempleandrepeatthenameKhwajaHariinbadtimesoftheirlife.Theyclaimthat"weworshipGharibNawaz'sGod,theGodHeworshipped."MayGodknowhowtheywillbejudgedintheafterlife,butonethingiscertain:theirloyaltytoGharibNawazisexemplary.
Ontheotherside,someMuslimsbelievethatvisitingashrineisasin,oneshouldavoidit,andallmiraclesperformedinthenameofSufisarefalse;theycannotaccomplishmiracles.Howlittletheirthinkingis,Ibelievetheybothlackedinformation,andiftheydidhaveinformation,itwasincorrect. Thisisalsoareason that IwroteabookentirelydedicatedtoGharibNawazandhisteachingswithrefrences,inorderforpeopletograspwhoHeis andhowhepreachedIslam.
AndifsomeonewantstolearnhowprayingattheshrineandmakingDuaisnotasin,hecouldreadmybook"KhuddameKhwajaandtheRiseofPrayersintheHolyShrine."

GharibNawaz,alsoknownasKhwajaMoinuddinChishty(R.A.),wasborninSijistanon18thofApril1136corrospondaceto14Rajab530Hijri,butsomeofpeopleclaimsthatHewasborninSanjar becausemanypeoplewrotesanjariafterHisname,butatthattimetherewerenocitynamedasSanjar,althougha city namedsijistanwasthereandpeoplehaveconsideredSijzi سجزی asSanjari سنجری,asinpersianandurdumanuscript botharesameandonebyonethistradionwasformedtocallhimSanjari.[5] SijzwasalsothebirthplceofrenowedscholarAbuDawoodauthorofSunnahAbiDawood.Atthattimetherewasnoconceptofcountriesalthoughthatareaperticularlyknownas Sistaan.somepeoplesaythatGharibNawazwasbornin AfghanistanbutthatsnottrueasSistaanwasinPersia becausetheHeroofPersianmythologyRostomwasnamedasSistaani.socosideritasSijzicity,Sistanstate,andPersiaascountry.[6]
GharibNawazhasbeenmercifultoallsincebirth,as heisfromthefamilyofRahmatallilAlameenMercytoward worlds.Hewastwelth fromlineageofImamAlibinAbuTalib(A.S.),successoroftheLastProphetofGod(S.A.W.).Hisfather,KhwajaGhayasuddinHasan(R.A.),wasadeeplyreligiousandGod-fearingmanwholivedduringtheIslamicGoldenAge.Accordingtohistorians,GharibNawazshowedearlysignsofhisuncommonreligiosityandwillingnesstomakesacrificesforothersasearlyashisbirth.Asignwouldbemadetohismothereverytimeawomanwithachildcametoseehimandthechildwailedforfeeding. Hewouldmakeasigntohismother,tellinghertofeedthecryingchild.Whenhismotherperformedthisact,theSufiwasenthralledbythespectacle.Heusedtosharehisownfoodwithhisplaymateswhenhewasthreeorfouryearsold.[7]
Hewasoncedressedwell,whenhetravelledtotheEidgahfortheEidprayerwithhisFather.Ontheway,hecameuponaboydressedinrags.Hefeltthepainofyoungsterand hegavehimsomeofhisownclothes,andaskshimtowearhisrags. hethenescortedhimtoEidgahwithalltheaffectionhedeserved.Afterwitnessingthis,hisFatherwasmetbyalargenumberofpeoplewhoweremovedbythisactofcharityfromahumanbeing,anditwasclearthathewouldgoontobeaGreatPersonalityinhislife.
Helosthisbelovedfather(551AD)whenhewasjust15yearsold,andhehadalreadylosthisbelovedmotherBibiUmmulWaraattheageof12.
GharibNawazwaslefttofendforhimselfinaworldfilledwithhatred,andgreed,withnoonetoturnforhelpbutGod.Despitethefactthatheinheritedsufficientmaterialmeanstosupporthimselfandhisfamilyintheirnormalwayoflife,butthedeathofhisbelovedparents,causedhimtopauseandreflect.Attimes,hewasovercomewithanguishandsawonlyahazypictureofthisdreadfulworld,despitethefactthatheboreitwithcourageandoutstandingforbearancethroughoutit.GharibNawazsupportedhimselfontheearningsfromagardenandawatermillthathehadinheritedfromhisfather.WhenaDervishnamedIbrahimQunduzi(R.A.)wentbywhileGharibNawazwasworkinginthegardenoneday,herantowardshimandperformed"DastBosi,"afterwhichheofferedtheDervishaseatunderthetreesandplacedabunchofgrapesinfrontofhim.Takingsomeout,chewingthem,andplacingtheminGharibNawaz’smouth.Thespiritualrevelationthatresultedfromthisexperiencewasprofound.[8]

Education

FollowingtheamazingexperiencewithSheikh,GharibNawazimmediatelyrenouncedtheworld,andthiswastheinitialinspirationoftheexperience.Hewastednotimeinsellinghisorchardandwindmill,aswellasallofhisotherworldlypossessions,andhegenerouslyhandedeverypennyofthesaleearningstothepoorandtheneedyinthecommunity.Later,havingseveredallofhistieswithhislovedonesandfriends,hesaidhisfinalgoodbyestothemandsetoutforBaghdad,whichwasthentheseatoflearning,insearchofreligiousknowledgeandmoraleducation.
Asupernaturalvisionreceivedviatheassistanceofagreat‘Mazhoob’hadtransformedhiseverrisingdiscontentmentinhisearlieryears,inspiteofallofhisrichtraditionsandmaterialriches,intoaperfectstateofcontentmentsoonafterthevisionwasreceived.However,GodiswilledtomakeHimoneofthegreatestholysaintsand‘Mujaheds’ofhistimeinthehistoryofIslam,whowouldturnthetablesontheevilworld,whowouldapplythebalmofsolaceandsalvationtothewoundsofafflictedhumanity,andwhowouldbringtheprideandarroganceofthemightiestmonarchsofhistimetoahaltinordertoredeemthesufferingoftheoppressed.Inaworldwherehehadnofriends,thefriendofHimisGod,andhewasdestinedforanextraordinarilylargemissionandanoutstandingcareercommittedtothecauseofworldpeaceandhappiness.
AfterlearningthatthefamousorientaluniversitiesofBaghdadandNeshapurhadbeendestroyedbytheravagesofcontinuouswarandplunderofTatari'sandfightswithinAbbasidsforthesakeofworldlydesires,GharibNawazdecidedtopursuehiseducationinBukhara,whichstillpossessedsomeofthebesteducationalinstitutionsandsomeofthemostlearned‘Ulama’ofthetime.[9]
DuringhistimeinBukhara,GharibNawazreceivedinstructioninalloftheorientalsciencesandliteraturefrommanylearned‘Ulama’oftheday,themostnotableofwhomwasMaulanaHissamuddinBukhari(R.A.),fromwhomhereceivedhis‘jubba’(cloak)andDastaare-Fazilat'(turbanoflearning),thetwohighestacademicdiplomasor"robesoflearning"ofthetime.
WhileinSamarqand,GharibNawazcontinuedhisstudiesaftercompletinghisstudiesinBukhara.Atthetime,Samarqandwasconsideredtobeamajorcentreoflearning.Healsoattendedotherprestigiousuniversitiestofurtherhiseducationinthefieldsofshariah,fiqh,theology,philosophy,andgrammar.HisschoolingatBukharaandSamarqandissaidtohavelastedbetween1150to1160A.D.,or552to561A.H.,accordingtohistoricalrecords.
GharibNawazthenstartedtoliveinMedinaandthereHewasaHadeeth(sayingsofProphetMuhammadS.A.W.)instructorforthreeyears.[10]

SufismandSilsila

Sufism

ASufi'slifeisgovernedbyIslamicdoctrineandtraditions.HisfirstinstructionisunwaveringfaithinGodandtotalsubmissiontoHiswill.Thismeansahardlifeofausterityandself-denial.ToobtainDivineKnowledgeandTruth,manmustpractisefrequentprayerandmeditation.Thisknowledgeispassedon‘insecret'byaSufitoanotherSufiwhoqualifies,i.e.onewhodoesnotthinkevil,seeevil,hearevil,orutterevil.ThehiddentruthsofNatureandthesoulareincomprehensiblewithoutDivineKnowledge.TheultimategoalofSufismisspiritualpurity.

ASufiisdistinguishedbyhisdisinterestinthisworldandcomforts.Hisignorancedissolvesinthe‘DivineLight'oftheMostHigh,theLordofall.HefeelsnopainorgriefsinceheiscompletelydedicatedtothewilloftheAlmightyGod.SoaSufisaintistheSpiritualKing,hiddenunderthetatteredrobesofapoordervish.

Silsila

Qadariya,ChishtiyaSuhrawardiya,andNaqshbandiyaarethefourmajorSufisilsilas.GharibNawaz(HoliestSufi)belongedtothesecond‘silsila'.Thereareveryslightdifferencesbetweenthesesilsilas.However,justasinmodernuniversities,theceremoniesusedtoearnGod'scommunionorrazavarydependingonthedegreesought.TheChishtia‘silsila'doesnotpermitanyotherHanafiSunniMussalmanbelief.TheirfaithisintheHolyQuran.Intheirlives,HazratKhawajaMuinuddinandhisspiritualmentorHazratKhwajaUsmanHaroonipreachedandheldexclusivelyQuranicprinciples.TobeaChishtysaintmeansrigorouslyfollowingtheQuraniccommandments.
TheteachingsofChishtiyaSilsilaarebasedonthefundamentalpremiseoflovingoneanotherregardlessofone'sfaithorsocialclass.Inthefirstplace,theterm"Silsila"referstoachainofSpiritualSaints,whichisexactlywhatthissilsilaisconcernedwith.SilsilaQadriandSilsilaNaqshbandiarevirtuallyidentical,howevertheirphilosophiesareslightlydifferent.InChishtiyaSilsila,everyoneistreatedonanequalbasis.Nomatterwhoyouareorwhereyoucomefrom,theChishtiyaSuficommunityistheretoserveandprayforyou,regardlessofyourreligion,skincolour,creed,orbeliefsystem.Comparativelyspeaking,peoplefromallreligiousbackgroundsgotoAjmer'sHolyShrinetopaytheirrespectsinsignificantlygreaternumbersthantheydoatotherbigreligiousgatherings.Peoplefromallwalksoflifearewelcomedandtheirdesiresaregrantedatsacredsites.IthasbeenwrittenonthewallsoftheHolyShrineforgenerationsthatthisplaceisameetingplaceforlovers;whomevercomesherefeelingincompletewilldepartherefeelingcomplete.
TosummarizeteachingsofKhwajaMoinuddinChishty,thefundamentalelementsofhisspeechare"loveforall,especiallyhumanbeings,andhatredfornone,especiallyyourenemies."ThisSilsilaiswell-knownthroughoutSouthAsia,particularlyontheIndiansubcontinent,foritsloveforallpeople,aswellasforitsspiritualmysticsandmiraculousSufimasters.
ThebelongingsofProphetMuhammad(S.A.W.)havecomeintothisSilsilathroughthehandsofAlibinAbuTalib,HasanBasri,andhisdisciples,andsoonuntilNaseeruddinchiragdehelviChishty[21stSpiritualteacherfromtheline],who,duringhislifetime,decreedthatallofthebelongingswouldbeburiedwithhimbecausehehadnotfoundanyoneworthyofreceivingthem."Mymercyhastriumphedovermywrath,"AllahrevealedintheHadeesalQudsee(TheBookofMercy).OnlyChishtiadvocatedfortheextensionofmercytoeveryone,andnootherSilsilafollowedsuitinemphasisingthevalueofthisvirtue.DhikristheprimaryobjectiveofQadri'ssilsila,whereasChishtyareencouragedtoplaceastrongemphasisonmercyastheirprimarygoal.
Sufi ‘silsilas'aren'tsects,theycameupbecauseindividualssoughtspiritualdirectionandtrainingfromSheikhsor‘murshids'(religiousgurus)whoinvestedtheirwholelifeaccurigthetrueknowledgewhichtheyforwardedtofollowersasspiritualandmoralneeds.Traditionsgrewupindistinct‘silsilas'.TheSufi‘silsilas'sharejustafewspiritualpractises,institutions,andindividuals,suchasthereverenceofshrinesandtheetiquetteofvisitingthem.OneofthedistinctiveaspectsoftheChishtiaorder,especiallyamongtheearlyIndiansaints,istheirloveforallhumanity.Theytriedtoinstilintheirdisciplesasenseofempathyfortheaverageman,regardlessofcaste,creed, race,religionornationality.TheyemphasisedMuslims'humanitarianobligationsthemost.

SomeofthemareunawareofHolySaints,andsomeofthemarguethattheseSufisanSaintshavenomentionintheQuranorHadithbuttherealityisthatGodandHisMessenger(S.A.W.)havedefinedthemintheHolyQuranandSunnah.GodrevealedintheHolyQuran;
Behold!ThereisnofearorgriefforGod'sfriends;thosewhobelieveand(constantly)protectagainstevil.
ThereisGoodNewsforthem,bothinthislifeandintheHereafter:ThereisnochangeinthepromiseofAllah.Thatis˹truly˺theultimatetriumph.[10:62]

ThroughtheseVersesoftheHolyQuran,itisdefinedthatSaintsarenotonlycorrect,butGodalsokeepsthemasHiscomrades.
InHadith,ProphetMuhammed(SAW)alsobrieflydiscussedthequestionofSaints.AccordingtoHazratSaadBinAbeWaqas(R.A),ProphetMuhammed(S.A.W.)onceremarked,"GodalleviatesthecountriesbutviaHisdevotees."InthisHadith,recountedbyHazratSaadBinAbeWaqas(R.A.),ProphetMuhammed(S.A.W.)statesthatGodonlysupportsthenationasawholeorindividuallybecauseofHisfriends,AuliaAkram(Saints).
HazratEabad(R.A.)relatedthatProphetMuhammed(S.A.W.)onceremarked,"InMynation,therearefourtyAbdals(devotees)becauseofwhomthewholesystemexists."Rainfallsoccurasaresultofthem,andasaresultofthem,youareaided.
AccordingtoHazratAnas,ProphetMuhammed(S.A.W.)reportedlydeclared,"ThisworldwouldnotremainvacantfromfourtyAbdals".ThosewhowillbefromHazratAbraham's(A.S.)grandchildrenandnation,andyouwillbeassistedasaresultofthem.
TheHolyQuranandHadithcontainalloftheauthenticprincipalsofSaints.ThesayingthatSaintsarebaselessorfaultyismanifestlyfalse,andthefactthatthereisnoZikroftheseSufisandSaintsintheHolyQuranandHadithiscompletelyerroneousandcontradictstheteachingsoftheQuranandHadith.
DespitethefactthatGodandHisProphetMuhammed(S.A.W.)haveexpresslydefinedAuliya.
Aswecansee,AuliaAkramareanimportantelementofIslamandoneofthemostenlightenedpathsforrealbelieversandfollowers.
Theirspiritualheightsandachievementsaretremendous,brilliant,andindelible,astheydrewthesuffering
