The history.

It was somewhere in the East.

“The Lost Treasure of Memory”?

Leonhard Franz, known as Leon, led a seemingly perfect life in the exciting 1990s in Germany, right around the time the Berlin Wall fell. As a successful real estate agent, he was proud of being a model German who owned the typical home and was successful in his career. His entire life seemed to be focused on success and happiness.

Leon had married his dream woman, Michaela, a wonderful woman who filled his life with love and support. Together they had two small children, Madlen and Benjamin, who were the light of their lives. Family life seemed perfect and Leon felt blessed.

On a brightly beautiful August day, Leon and his young family set off to visit his in-laws.

The sun shone warmly from the sky and promised a harmonious day full of joy and love.

They drove together on the picturesque country road, surrounded by green fields and flowering meadows. The anticipation of the upcoming family reunion made their hearts beat full of happiness. They enjoyed the ride as the music played happily in the car.

But suddenly, in an unfortunate moment, the unimaginable happened. A truck took their right of way and caused a terrible accident.

The young family was seriously injured and Leon found himself in hospital in September.

After Leon awoke from his coma, the terrible truth and deep loss were revealed to him. Doctors told him that no one expected him to survive the terrible accident. The injuries were too severe for his young family and they died at the scene.

Leon's world shattered into a thousand pieces.

However, the amnesia had robbed him of all memory and he didn't know who he was. Like an empty computer with no data, he lived on, without any connection to his past. The images of his family existed only in the stories of others, but he could not fill them with his own memories.

The emotions were also barely noticeable. Although this was a terrible story,He lacked personal connection to the people and events. He couldn't feel pain, sadness, or anger, even if the news shocked him. The emptiness in

His insides felt oppressive, as if a part of his own identity had been erased. Leon faced a huge challenge.

Not only did he have to deal with the loss of his family and his memories, but he also had to redefine his own identity. Who was he without his past, without the people who had shaped him? It became a painful process of self-discovery in which he was faced with a feeling of emptiness and loss every day.

Still, there was a glimmer of hope inside Leon. He felt that there was still an opportunity to find a way to understand the past and perhaps even regain his emotions. With each passing day, he struggled to piece together fragments of his memories and understand the people who had once made up his life.

It was a journey into the unknown in which Leon met new people who helped him reconstruct the past. Each piece of the puzzle led him closer to his own story. He learned that memories don't just exist in pictures, emotions and words, but also in the hearts of the people who were connected to him.

As Leon continued on his journey, he began to make small progress in regaining his emotions.

Each step brought a wave of emotions - sadness, joy, despair and hope coursing through his body.

Showing him that he was still capable of feeling deep emotions.

Although his memories gradually returned, the images in his mind remained absent. It was as if part of his past had been lost forever. The emptiness in his memory made it difficult to find a clear answer to all the questions his in-laws asked him when they visited him in the hospital. They asked him accusatory questions about exactly what happened on the day of the accident.

They asked him why he had been so careless and why he had put their loved ones at risk.

Leon felt immense guilt, but he couldn't provide a concrete explanation. He was overwhelmed by the accusations and allowed himself to be blamed for what had happened. Nobody cared what was in the police report. The burden of guilt weighed heavily on him and gnawed at his soul.

The doctors recognized the enormous stress that Leon had to endure and tried to defuse the situation.

They politely asked the in-laws to leave the room to give Leon some breathing room. But it was already too late. The psychological stress and pain overwhelmed him and he suffered another breakdown. His mind couldn't withstand the pressure and he fell into a deep coma again.
