Know How No Game 10

The No Game Stage

This book series discusses the evolution of gaining the ultimate Know How of the Game of Poker. It talks about the evolution from a recreational player, live and online, to GTO equation and applying that intuitively to a point were you successfully profit financially to a point were you no longer need to play the Game of Poker at all. The evolution equation from start to finish is basically, gaining a Know How in order to profit to then come to the conclusion to no longer Play...

...This book explains why even the most successful Poker Players known in today's game, won’t develop to the final stage of the Poker Game. The „ No Game“ Stage

AT

In the last volume (A9), we went through the profit stage which is one of the stages most players never reach but for the ones who do, this final stage should be considered. Volume AT will explain why even successful players should consider, mastering the No Game Stage.

This might sound silly, because if you are reading this you probably know the rules in poker, right? I mean I’m sure you know e.g. all the hand rankings.

Im sure you know that there is a flop, turn and a river. And I’m also sure you know or learned about these rules or facts simply by playing or watching. And that’s how most people learn about the rules of poker and that’s actually why „Learning the Rules“ is a segment in this series. It is not only in poker that people learn the rules of the game by observing and simply doing. I personally know that from Basketball because I started playing from the age of 4 until around my early 20’s and I have never actually read the rule book on Basketball. But I still know the rules, or at least all the Important rules (basic rules) and that is actually enough if you are just playing the game because if you are unintentionally breaking a rule, the referee will correct you and you will then learn anyway. So why would you even bother reading a boring rule book, right?

Well, wrong because there is actually a flaw in that concept. Let’s say you were never being confronted with a particular rule, therefore you don’t know the rule exist. And that could result potentially in bad outcome for you, later on. Imagine you will be confronted with a rule for the first time after years of playing a game in the most important game of your carrier. Not only that it’s bad for you, in that particular moment but think about how you could profit from rare situations from a widely unknown rule.

Here is a short 5 minute video about how knowing all rules can be very profitable.
