Life by Choice!
Before we get to the meaty stuff, I thought you might like to know just a little bit about me and how this book came about.
I live in Cape Town, South Africa, I love the Lord and His word, I enjoy life and I adore my family. I have two amazing sons who have wonderful partners and I am privileged to be Granny to a beautiful granddaughter. I suppose if you had to sum me up in one word, I am a Mom, I love feeding and loving on and taking care of people.
My passion is people, more specifically people living their lives to the full potential of who they were created to be. I love helping people discover their passion and then assisting them to strategise the way forward to living out their passion and hopefully making an income from it. They always say if your job is your passion you will never mind going to work.
In 2017, I was asked by Hazel Cooper, a friend and fellow believer, to write for a blog, Refreshcafe.org. At that time, I was working as a litigation secretary in a law firm. Have you ever noticed how important words are? In both the natural and the spiritual, words are really important. I have and so I decided that my section of the blog would be called “Words Matter”.
I am also a member of a team that runs a course called Renewing the Mind and I am so blessed to be able to facilitate one of the lessons which is called Transformation (basically teaches you how to make better choices regarding what comes out of your mouth i.e. Words Matter).
This course helps you to identify some of the limitations and strongholds that have developed in your life through the normal course of growing up and living life which have held you back. We then equip you with some tools to overcome in these difficult areas, by changing how you think and speak and the choices you make. We teach you to make better choices that bring about better results. It is so exciting to see lives being changed from the inside out, seeing people get the revelation of the fact that their most powerful weapon sits only one inch below their nose, and they have complete control over it.
Whether you live your life to its full potential or not is your choice!
