It can be frustrating to be in love with a guy who doesn’t seem to love you back. Yeah, I understand how you feel.

It is one thing to be attracted to a guy, but it is a completely different thing for him to be attracted to you. In fact, on several occasions, the guys we are attracted to, don’t get to like us back.

I don’t know about you, as for me, when I was still single, guys that I didn’t quite find attractive got more attracted to me than the ones I would have really preferred to have.

But after some time when I began reading books on dating and relationships, I realized the mistakes I was making, which was the reason I struggled to get the attention of my preferred guys.

Below were some of the lessons I learned that turned things around for me.

Fall in love with yourself first

You must first fall in love with yourself. This is because, if you are not proud of your own products, you will hardly get a customer to patronize you.

When you are proud of yourself, you will not just accept any guy that comes your way. But when you are not, you will see anything that enters your net as fish.

I know this sounds somehow out of place because you feel you have to do all you can to impress that guy for him to love you back.

As a girl, getting a guy to fall in love with you is much easier than you think. What you need is the right skill set. While the idea of love, at first sight, may be perfect for books and movies, in real life, falling in love takes more than that.

Understanding how to make a guy fall in love with you starts by understanding what most guys want from a girl in their life- and figuring out how to get the guy without changing the things that make you special.

That is why I designed this book for girls like you, so you know exactly how to push a guy’s buttons and make him adore you, and treat you like a princess.

No desperations

To make a guy love you back, you need to show that you are not desperate. Begging a guy to date you or throwing yourself at him, shows signs of desperation, which is usually a turn-off for most guys.

Being desperate about getting a guy may give him the chance to take undue advantage of you.

To get a guy to go out with you and make love happen; you've got to be yourself.

Along with being yourself, show him you are not like other girls. Stand out from the crowd. Don’t forget there are lots of girls out there that may also be interested in having that guy you want.

So, you have to show him the aspects of your personality that stand you out from the crowd.

You also need to apply patience. Love doesn't just happen overnight. It takes some time for love to flower. You've got to become familiar with each other first. That first spark is just infatuation. Real love takes time.

You don't have to throw yourself at him at every given opportunity. Learn to give him some space and time. Spending all day with a guy doesn’t make him love you more, instead, it makes him tired of seeing you.

But when you give him some space, then, he starts missing you and that’s when his affection for you becomes stronger.

Show some green light

Like girls, men love to get attention from the opposite sex.  But unlike girls, guys feel that they are pressured to make the first move, and so they often won’t approach a girl without a reason. 

While asking a guy out directly may work, most girls prefer to have a man ask them out first. 

So you need to help make sure that the guy you are interested in realizes that you are available. 

Start by doing little things like making eye contact and smiling at him from time to time.

Making eye contact is one of the simplest ways to let a guy know you are interested in him.

If you are already quite acquainted with the guy you are interested in, start making physical contact. Touching him on the arm, or giving him a friendly squeeze when talking to him may very well be all it takes to get him interested in you.

Be real with him

The next thing you need to know about how to make a guy fall in love with you is to show him who you really are.

No matter how many times you may have heard it, men want to fall in love with the real you. 

That doesn’t mean that you should tell him your life story on the first date or take the fun and mystery out of dating, but it does mean showing him the best parts of who you are. 

Start by learning more about things you are already interested in - take a college course in something new, try a new hobby, join a sports team, or read new books. 

Advice that tells you how to make a guy fall in love with you by being fake won’t work- so find ways to show off the real you.

Be the kind of girl every guy wishes to have

Another step you need to take if you want to make a guy fall in love with you is to learn how to be the type of girl that all men want. 

Luckily, it isn’t as tricky as it sounds.  All men, just like all women, want someone they can talk to, share their feelings with, and someone who will listen to them. 

Encourage him to show you things he loves, find out more about what he is interested in, and have an open mind about who you are falling in love with.
