Introduction.

Isn’t it all so confusing? The whole pandemic situation. Many of us, if not the majority, are struggling one way or another and even find it increasingly difficult to catch up with all the news that started spreading at the end of 2019. There where many conspiracy theories surrounding the pandemic right from the start. This short book has nothing to do with any of it. I can’t stress that enough. I am presenting here facts and facts only. Including scientific research and its results.

It has been well over a year since the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic started. At this point I am quite certain that we are all pretty tired with this new global situation. Unless you’re making money on it of course – but that is a subject for another day and another book. Especially considering that my education is economics, so I will definitely come back to explore that subject as there is a lot to it I bet you don’t know. This time though I want to focus on healthcare, it is something I have chosen to do in my new line of work. You see – I work as a nurse. I find that doing something good and vitally important for others is a really satisfying way to earn both money and positive karma. Although I actually do not believe in the latter as such. I believe in God, hoping I’ll get some positive feedback upstairs.

There are a lot of aspects to the new global situation needing considering – like for example physical health as well as mental well-being and social relations. Because we all know that one of the restrictions caused by the pandemic is so called social distancing. That in most countries worldwide means keeping at least 1,5 meters distance between members of the public. That is the case in Germany and its capitol Berlin where I’ve been recently residing. That rule is specifically designed for crowded public places and public transport. That means supermarkets among other places.

I am shopping for bit of groceries pretty much everyday so I have a lot of opportunities to witness these restrictions in practice.
