In this book, number III in the My Life Values Series, I continue as in the first two, but with new reflections. All of them have in common that they in one way or another are related to: Essential attitudes, challenges and life values. They were at the time they were written, put on paper to test my opinions and thoughts about attitudes, challenges and life values, in my opinion the most important management tools we humans have to navigate through many of lifes challenges. This book, like the two previous ones, does not pretend to be an educational textbook. Honest self-awareness gives you a solid platform to stand on in life, and is a gift that is not given to all. Many must work towards that goal themselves, like I have done, and this is where this last book in the series, as an example, shows you how I have exposed my honest self-awareness. Read, digest, and take a rest. Compare with your own thoughts and pick out the best. Your self-awareness will thus be strengthened, and your platform more solid and firm, making solving lifes challenges easier in turn. Only by reading slowly and committed, you will benefit from using this book to help you face lifes challenges. In my opinion, and based on my assumptions, I have long had the ideology in life that just as surely as we humans are different and have our unique identity, the Creator has given us the opportunity to choose between two diametrically different types of life, the good and the evil. As I am not a fan of black/white solutions, it becomes more nuanced when I say that with extended self-awareness, you can decide for yourself where on the scale between the two extremes, you want to be. The choice is yours. Fanaticism is the starting point for wrong views, so in this context, the two extreme types of life, good or the evil, will turn out to be conflict-creating. By reading my personal reflections, you will quickly understand that I would like to appear firmly rooted in the good lifestyle. In my eighty-sixth year, I am still working on the fine-tuning. Nothing is perfect in life. I would be very happy if you can find inspiration in this book, for expanded thoughts which can give you better self-confidence and a more solid platform to stand on when facing lifes challenges. I recommend keeping the book on hand and using it when you are at a crossroads in life.

In this book, number III in the My Life Values Series, I continue as in the first two, but with new reflections. All of them have in common that they in one way or another are related to: Essential attitudes, challenges and life values.
They were at the time they were written, put on paper to test my opinions and thoughts about attitudes, challenges and life values, in my opinion the most important management tools we humans have to navigate through many of life’s challenges.
This book, like the two previous ones, does not pretend to be an educational textbook.

Your self-awareness will thus be strengthened, and your platform more solid and firm, making solving life’s challenges easier in turn.

May these books, become inspiration, guidance, and reflection for my family descendants on their own life’s journey. My Life Values I - II and III, are written with love, hope, and based on my experience over a long period.
Find strength and joy in living according to the attitudes and life values that are important to you and yours.
The answer is always the Middle Way. So, it was with Aristotle and so it is today. Not too much greed and not too much spending. Not too aggressive and not too defending. Not too evil and not too good. This is what I have understood.

The following is my recommendation on how to maximize the book’s benefits, be it through group discussion, life coaching or as an individual reader
1. Read or discuss all the “Reflections” and note those that are most relevant to you, considering your own personal values at the same time.
2. Set aside the ones not relevant to you at the moment and concentrate on the ones that are relevant.
3. Compare my view of the Reflection in question, with yours.
4. Form opinions on the Reflection’s you have read/ discussed and take a note of them.
5. Follow this procedure for each Reflection that you feel is important to you.
From this solid platform you have now created for yourself, you will have become more aware and self-confident of how to face life’s challenges.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION!
Pay attention to the date below the heading of the Reflection you are reading, when it is given.
From this you will understand that my Reflections span more than 30 years, meaning that the content has been created in steps with challenges that I, like everyone else, have faced.

CAUSE
Responsibility is an incredibly broad concept. In all levels of society, from the single person to all of us, the concept of responsibility applies in one form or another. Here one can safely talk about relationships and proportions with large deviations. Just being responsible for oneself, for those who are, can be challenging enough. If one as a responsible person is not aware of one’s responsibility, it can have enormous consequences.
It can be clearly stated that responsibility is something that must be taken seriously, and the area of responsibility one has is given clear boundaries and consequences.
Therefore, people with large responsibilities are often better paid in a professional context than those with less responsibility. Here one is immediately faced with challenges.
The time is now 3:37 PM, Monday, April 28, 2025.
A few hours ago, the lights in the house went out, at the same time as the internet and all telephone contact with the outside world disappeared.
Of course, it happens every now and then that the power goes out, but the outage doesn’t last long before it comes back on again. At least that’s the case where we live in southern Spain.
The difference this time is that the internet went out with the power.
So what does this coincidence have to do with responsibility?
We’re always looking for a scapegoat, and it’s natural to think about who’s responsible for things like this happening.
Our help, who had just returned from her shopping trip, could tell that on her trip she had heard that the same thing had happened in Barcelona and Madrid and that Antonio, the owner of the small shop where my wife buys her newspaper daily, had told her that something similar had happened in several other countries in Europe at the same time, and that it had been a “Cyberattack” (A cyberattack - also referred to as a computer attack - is a threat act intended to cause damage or loss to a private person or business).
These days we don’t know what to believe, but if it had happened all over Europe, perhaps this was the beginning of the worst that could happen, that Putin had sat down at the organ to play.
True, earlier today we had seen how Zelensky and Trump sat in their chairs opposite each other in the Vatican yesterday, and as it looked, in a balanced conversation. We also learned that Trump would give Putin an ultimatum to stop the attacks on Ukraine and that it would last a week. Perhaps this was the answer to the ultimatum we heard about a couple of hours ago.
Here we are now, as the reader will understand, without any opportunity to inform ourselves about what is happening and without any information.
