“Good evening No.9”.The driver thinks too himself as he walks towards his favourite Bus.
He’s beginning his route all over again and learning useful lessons of one type too the next, putting them into practice so that his time is well spent and hence contains the utmost efficiency.
“Any man who wishes to do well must work hard on himself, spending his time learning logical facts which must therefore work out in reasonable fashion. Didn’t some Ancient Greek Philosopher say that?”.Where-ever he had heard it the first time he was sure it must make sense.
“Mabe today would be the day I was fortunate enough to win the pools or something, that’s got to be a vast improvement from yesterday when i had managed to stall the engine of this bus at it’s Terminal last night. It was getting late and i would have hated to have been towed from there back here too the Depot. Yet fortunately for me the No.9 had only choked on a bad mixture of gas while running on idle_according to yesterdays Error Report and now back in its normal working order. Good”.
One thing about working the evening shift is he would be the second person to use the Bus today and the mechanics, like every other normal working person are usually very calm in the morning shifts and certainly not as grumpy as some engineer’s who have too work late into the night!.
