Chapter 1, Do you want to eat my pancreas?

Hao Jae, my name.

I've been a ghostbuster all my life, and I've seen countless horrors and wonders.

I'm about to retire and I don't want these stories to disappear into the world.

So, I've written a book to document what I've seen and heard over the decades!

Look to future generations and be wary!

It is possible to have no faith, but to honor that which exists.

Because there's no telling when they'll find you or be around you all the time!

I grew up extraordinary.

......

Mind your eyes in this world and don't look away!

Just listen to me. The unlucky guy on the road with his head down smoking is me.

The steps in front of the hospital, it's a sad place, it was for me.

I avoided the pair of eyes in front of me that showed no anger.

Hang up the phone with his head down, the phone screen is full of cracks, the mouth cursed and sprayed spit: "fart brother, drink when not called all to come, now really meet things, a person shadow can not find."

Thinking back to the shunning of my friends, and the cold blood of my beloved girlfriend, I leaned helplessly against the cold wall.

Life has been so trashy, I'm standing in a trash can right now.

Because of an accident, my father was seriously injured and put in a coma in the hospital, and money became the biggest difficulty in front of me.

I didn't realize that my older brother across the room with his head down was as droopy and bearded as I was.

He scowled at me and said, "Lend me a cigarette, little brother!"

I frowned a little as I took one out of my arms, curled up halfway and lost half of the smoke, "Don't mind the breakage!"

"Hey, what are you talking about, how can you come to this place and be afraid of being broken! Home is almost broken."

The two hid on the steps of the hospital hallway, absorbing the smell of cigarettes greedily in one puff.

The outside walls of the hospital are brightly lit, but unfortunately it has nothing to do with poor people.

I peeked inside the steps and the four letters EICU flashed red and made my head hurt from looking at them.

"Whew!"

At the sound of the voice, the family members who were bunking on the floor at the door immediately gathered around.

The door to the EICU opened and a small, white nurse stepped out and yelled, "Which one is Hao Zai?"

I quickly stomp out my cigarette, look at what's left of it, hesitate, put it away in my pocket, pile on a smile and walk to the door, "I am, if you need anything I'll get it!"

The nurse looked at me and sighed, "Your parents aren't here?"

"No, just me babysitting!"

"You don't have much money left in your account, if you don't refill it you'll have to stop taking your medication!"

My face was a curt smile, piled on top of a piece, "Don't! Sister, how can I stop the medicine! Don't worry, I'll think of something! I'll figure it out!"

The nurse glanced at me again and nodded, teenage shame making me embarrassed and trying to hide my head, "Hurry up then, the patient's in bad shape, he won't last twenty-four hours without medicine!"

"You help! Please!" I bowed my head, my dignity slipping away.

She didn't bother with me, "Tomorrow morning at the latest, who's a Huli family member!"

In the hallway, the man who had just smoked with me ran out, "You said, I'm Hu Li lover!"

The man bowed his head to the nurse who was dozens of years younger than him.

"She is seriously injured, you are ready to recharge more money, we can only stabilize the patient's condition now, the conditions are not ripe now, we can only take a film tomorrow to look at it, you just recharge more money."

Watching the man keep his head down, the nurse reassured him, "Don't worry, you can't use up all the money, you can get a refund!"

The man nodded, but there was no trust in the hospital on his face, "I'm not worried about the money ...... ugh! Thank you!"

"But it's not a disease, it's a life, and there's nothing the hospital can do about it."

He spoke so quietly that the nurse didn't hear him.

But, I was next to him and heard him clearly.

As I watched the nurse go inside, I watched the door to the EICU open and close again, and my helpless smile slowly sank.

It was already ten at night, and I took out my cell phone and looked at the time, scrolling through my contacts in boredom.

The hospital turned off the lights, and where it looked white in the daytime, there was actually a lot of dust, and I touched quite a bit of it as I sat on the floor, but I wasn't in a position to care about that.

The man who had just borrowed his cigarettes came back, and the middle-aged man hung his head with a half-smile and leaned against the wall with him.

Seeing that I was angry, the man handed over a cigarette, "Little brother, you're short of money."

I look at him, take the cigarette, take a look at it is Huazi: "You really know how to joke, in this much of the family's wealth also lost!"

The man hung his head, "Already, staying in this shithole without a smile, how are we going to get through the rest of our lives!"

"Let me ask you something, little brother, I just went out to see that the hospital payment window is closed, how do I pay my bill now?"

Not wanting to say much to him, I pointed to a QR code at the door of the EICU: "You scan this."

The man stood up, the latest fruit machine in his hand, a high end one I think, he scanned the code and sat down next to me, "Help me out, how do I pay for this."

I didn't pick up his cell phone, spacing out and pointing at his screen, "Tap this, yes then pay!"

The man operated for half a day, didn't know which step to misoperate, and withdrew again, "I'm sorry, little brother, I'm still not very good at it, or I'll send you the money and you help me!"

I don't want to get into this trouble, it's okay to help people, but too much trouble even if I don't, I don't want to, I'm especially afraid of trouble nowadays.

The man looked at my hesitation, directly put a packet of just opened Huazi into my hand: "are the patient's family, help, you help me I help you!"

I just nodded and took out the QR code and the man added my contact information and transferred ten thousand dollars.

Looking at the ten thousand dollars in my cell phone wallet, my mind flashed with hesitation and I kept gasping for air.

If I had money, I wouldn't have to worry here.

A million thoughts rose in my head, and I looked up for a split second to see the dark shadows flashing across the hospital wall, my heart pounding and my head clearing.

Ever since I was a child, the fortune teller said that I have a lot of merits and karmic debts on my body, so I can't do such evil things.

The man just watched and stared at my expression, and when he saw my hesitation, his face was all happy, and then quickly hid it, "Pay my bill for me! Little brother."

I guarded my conscience and asked the man for the patient's bed number to pay the bill.

It was a little sad to see $10,000 leave his cell phone, money that would have helped renew his father's life.

I pulled the half-empty cigarette with the footprints from my pocket and lit it, reluctantly shoving the wazoo in my arms into the man's arms.

The man didn't want Huazi: "If I say I've given it to you, I've given it to you, I, Hu Zhihua, don't care about this little thing, little brother, you're very short of money?"

I nodded, having been in the hospital for so long and realizing that dignity was something that sometimes wasn't as important as money.

The man hung his head, "I'm not short of money, but my lover is sick, very sick, and it's not something that money can cure!

She followed me when I didn't have a penny and now I'd die before I'd give her up

As long as there's the slightest chance, I'll definitely save her back, even if it's from hell, I'll snatch her back!"

The man looked him in the eye tentatively, "Who's sick in your family?"

"My father, accident!"

"Not good enough to save?"

"It can be saved!"

"So you have money to save?"

"No ...... no! There will be!" Teenagers with unspent ambitions always talk less about giving up.

"You want to save?"

"Uh-huh! I won't give up! Give everything I have to save!"

"Really ...... give everything?"

Surprised, the man trembled and operated on his cell phone for a moment.

My cell phone suddenly rang, lighting up the screen, I jerked my head up to look at the man, "What do you mean?"

"Little brother, do me a favor and this ten thousand is yours! And I'll give you another 100,000!"

I shook my head definitively though I was intent, "No! No, I'm not going!"

I know in my heart that a hundred thousand dollars is a life for a life in the hospital.

Take this money, I'm scared.

The man approached me anxiously, "Don't worry, I won't let you do anything out of the ordinary, I'll give you an address, you go for one night, just stay for one night, and the eleven hundred thousand dollars will be yours!"

The man was afraid I wouldn't believe him took out the briefcase he had padded under his ass, "As long as you come back tomorrow, I'll give you another 100,000, you see I'm not short of money, this is 50,000."

"As long as you go, I can grant you any request!"

The man opens the purse in his arms, which should be the money he just took out from the hospital entrance.

Fifty thousand dollars is bright red even in the dark.

I had bubbles on the corners of my mouth and my eyes were fixed on this money, "Really just a simple one night stay? No need for me to do anything else."

I covered my ass and looked skeptically at the man in front of me, afraid that he might think something bad about my virginity.

It's been on the news lately that there have been a couple of gutless corpses dumped in an alley on a bar street lately.

I'm more afraid of this man scheming my heart.

The man nodded with anticipation, "Right! Just stay one night! Nothing for you to do!"

"Well? Promise me!"

The EICU doors opened again, a car covered with a white sheet was wheeled out by the doctors, and the family sitting off to the side pounced on them, hugging the living man who had just been gasping for air and crying.

Hospitals are places where people come and go, only when they go they no longer walk the earthly road.

I gasped and nodded heavily, "Give me the address!"

The man sent me the address and watched me walk into the winter night.

The night was cold, and I exhaled white breath from my mouth, brave and cowardly.

When I looked up I saw the man standing on the second floor, in the stairwell, with what looked like a dark shadow behind him, and he let out a breath.

Not white, but gray smoke.

I've heard from other patients that Mr. Hu's loved one has a heart problem and could still live if he had a new heart!

I held the amulet in my arms tightly, it was useless, but it gave me peace of mind.

After all, it's a treasure that was offered in front of my godfather.

I forgot to mention that my grandmother was afraid that I would be weak and dirty things would take advantage of my weakness, so she made me worship my godfather.

Godfather is extremely powerful, he is the local city god!

In my mind, I thought dozens of times about the appearance of the city god before I suppressed the fear inside me, not that I was timid.

It was I who saw, floating in that gray smoke, a figure with blood-red eyes staring at me.

Even when I turn around, I can still feel those eyes still watching me.

Those fucking eyes!

Yes!

I can see!

Saw!

Ghosts!

It's, like, my constant nightmare!

But do I have a choice?

This villa, I'm staying!

Money I must have too!

Jesus couldn't keep it either, I'd say!

Chapter 2, Who's the Ghost

I parked my shared bike in front of the gates of the most luxurious villa district in the commercial city and looked at the dark entrance with a determined expression.

I cared about money because it was my father's life.

I straightened up, carrying a broken bag behind me.

Looking at the tall villa complex in front of me, the bright lights inside shining down on the darkness on the floor with nowhere to hide, I tried to hide in the darkness because the light here, it gave me nothing to do.

Keeping my head down, I walked in little by little, attempting to kill a little time that way.

The guard at the gatehouse looked at me and stepped forward to stop me, "What for?"

I took out the access card Hu gave me from my bag, "I'm Mr. Hu's nephew, he's got something going on tonight, and he said he wanted me to come see the house!"

The security guard didn't take my card with some trepidation, "Mr. Hu, the one from building 14?"

"Yes!"

"Go on in! It's in section 13, you go straight ahead, and the last house with no lights on is the one."

I nodded and headed inside.

The security guard didn't stay out in the cold, saw me go in, and went straight back to the janitor's office.

I didn't leave, hiding next to the janitor's office to light my heel and survey the area.

There was also an old man inside the security room wearing a tattered security uniform, but it didn't look like his own clothes in any way, "What kind of person! Sneaking around in the middle of the night!"

The little security guard shivered and stomped his feet, smothering a mouthful of hot wine, "The family of that Mr. Hu in Block 14 of District 13 looks like relatives from the countryside."

"Didn't Mr. Hu's wife just get sick and go to the hospital, what's a country relative doing here?"

"Who knows, Mr. Hu is a good person, the first day he came, he also gave all our security guards some food in person, just lived in and met this, it's really bad luck."

The old man pinched two peanuts to fill his mouth: "Who said not, he just came I advised him, and finally this building is not auspicious, feng shui is not good easy to attract things, we built this district, my home in the neighborhood, I remember that there has been an incident, but people are not listening."

"Master Zhang, don't scare me at night, our neighborhood has such good feng shui, what can happen?"

"Good feng shui in the neighborhood doesn't mean there isn't a little problem, you know the sun is most poisonous at twelve noon, but this is the time of year when the sun has the most dirt under it!"

"The better the feng shui of the neighborhood, the more horrible things are hidden in certain places!"

The old man approached, "Kid, not to mention do you know what 1314 means?"

"Sure, got it, I send it every day with my baby to represent love for a lifetime!"

The old man looked out the window, the villa area was basically brightly lit.

However, one of the lights over in Sector 13 has been out for the past two days, and the sudden darkness in the light looks like a monster with its mouth wide open.

The old man squeezed a peanut and winked, "On the foreigner's side, 13 and 14 are not good numbers!"

He stared at the young man in front of him, "In our place, 1314 is not just a lifetime."

"Still!"

"One life! One life!"

The night hides an eye that stares into the horror of a man's heart, and no words are spoken.

Some of those lying in bed quietly tucked their feet under the covers.

The young security guard looked into the darkness of the villa park when Mr. Hu's wife was picked up by the hospital ambulance today.

He took a look at it, and it really didn't look like a normal person.

He involuntarily shivered and lowered his head to look at the world in the monitor: ''Master, you've been scared of me, I'm on night duty tonight! I'm on night duty tonight! If you don't leave, your sick boy will starve!"

The old man glared at him, "Can't talk, shut your mouth, my son isn't sick, he's just not well, the old man will give his boy a daughter-in-law after a while!"

"Take a daughter-in-law and pass on the family name to our old Zhang family!"

"I'm not going to fool around with you, tonight is my son's big day!"

The young security guard's eyes were full of scorn and he didn't say anything.

The old man pushed the door to the security room open and went out.

I hid next to the security room to hear the whole thing, and I had a little thought in my mind, and I was just about to open my mouth to ask the old guard.

But look.

It was as if the old man couldn't see me, and walked directly in the opposite direction.

Darkness.

The old guard suddenly cocked his head and smiled at me, his black and yellow teeth affectionate in a way that made my heart flutter.

Fear!

I want to run!

But think about the money!

I walked stiffly toward a shabby, dark place in the villa district, and looked up to see the lights in Section 13 flicker and go out again.

It should be.

Bad!

Coincidentally, the bad one is exactly where I'm going.

I stood in the doorway with my cell phone.

The large charger is halfway down, exposed in the pocket of his jacket, and on his back is a large canvas bag.

Staying in the hospital for the past few days, there's not much of a place to stay.

At night I bunked down in front of the eicu, and during the day, when no one was allowed to live at the door because there were checkups, I wandered around the hospital like a wandering spirit without a home.

There's a steel computer stand in the bag, just bought it.

As a student, it should be reasonable to take a computer stand out with you!

I grunted my nose as my phone's screen happened to light up with a text from Mr. Hu.

"You're at my door?"

I looked up from my tight clothes and saw a camera in the doorway and greeted it with a smile, "Hello Mr. Hu!"

The cell phone screen lit up again.

"The password is 131441, get in!"

"By the way, there's a voice-activated code inside, so go in and play this voice below."

I didn't question it any more, and had no choice but to do as I was told and enter the code.

"Ding!"

The door opened.

Instead of going in, I took out my cell phone, "Now, call me first, and I'll go back in."

Mindfulness of distrust of anyone is something I've learned over the past few days.

I looked at the monitor above my head and lifted my cell phone.

I didn't have to wait two minutes for a text message to come through on my cell phone.

It's a bank account I left for Mr. Hu. Received 50,000 dollars.

There was another message that said, "Now, get in there, I'll give you 50,000 dollars up front when I say I will! I'll give you the rest in cash tomorrow when you come to the hospital."

I was momentarily dizzy and pushed the door open.

"Zee ......"

The door opened!

I slowly walked in and casually looked around, the house was no different from what I had seen on TV in terms of how the villa looked.

A few pairs of shoes placed randomly in the doorway show that the owner was in a hurry when he left.

I turned on the light and saw the house in its entirety.

I've always hated houses like this, the rooms are too big and can be unpopular.

It's cold here, even more chilly than in the hospital.

I rubbed my hands together without going in and stood in the doorway looking across the room.

The phone lit up and a text message appeared.

"Play the voice I sent you! Hurry up!"

I shook my head without listening to him and pocketed my phone again.

He's definitely unsettled, and if I do everything he says, I'm just losing all my leverage.

I need to disrupt his rules to have a chance to talk.

There was a screen at the door, and as a recent college graduate, I knew enough about these electronic gadgets to turn on the house heat with a few random taps.

The cell phone screen showed that it was now eleven fifty-nine at night.

I sat in the villa's lobby and turned on the TV.

Couldn't understand the TV, just a little sound echoing through this empty house would make me less scared.

The phone screen lit up again with a text message from Mr. Hu: "Play this voice! Hurry!"

I hesitate, look up at the overhead monitor, and tap on the voice.

"I'm back!"

It's Mr. Hu's voice. I can hear it.

After this abrupt passage appeared.

The room didn't change much, except when this sound was played.

A calmness inexplicably came over me, and I somehow felt as if the room had suddenly gone quiet.

The bell in the hall rang abruptly, startling me and confusing my heartbeat, and I looked down at my phone at exactly twelve o'clock.

Although the program was still playing on the TV, the feeling of coldness still filled the room.

I was surprised and said to myself, "It shouldn't be this cold!"

Obviously the air conditioning had just been turned on and the room had started to warm up, so why was it so cold now.

And not the cold kind of feeling.

The feeling, as it were!

It's like!

The last time I was careless and walked into a hospital basement like that.

It wasn't the biting cold, it was the chill of feeling someone behind you.

I lay down on the couch, pulling one side of the fuzzy blanket over me and tucking my feet under the covers.

And yet, it still can't stop the chill in my heart.

"Dang!"

"Dang!"

Strange sounds, through the cacophony of laughter from the TV, reached my ears.

I listened slowly and looked to the source of the voice, "Kitchen?"

I was just going around the hall in case someone was hiding in the cottage and purposely looking around at what was supposed to be the kitchen.

A lot of the food in front of me was right out of the kitchen, but I just went to look and it was clear that there was nothing there and the plumbing was turned off properly!

What the hell is that noise?

"Wow!"

Is it the sound of water?

I heard the sound and was sure it was the same sound coming from the kitchen.

"The faucet's on?"

To see and not to see!

These two thoughts appeared in the head.

In the empty lobby, I slowly sat up straight to see where the kitchen was.

Then turning back, his hand slowly touched the table.

"Boo!"

I slapped open a bag of chips, "Flooding is flooding! It's not my house, hao in hao in, curiosity kills, your mission today is to stay on this couch all night."

"What you're not interested in!"

The chips made noises in my mouth as I stared at the TV screen, my mind not having the slightest idea what was actually playing on the TV.

It just felt cold, heart-felt cold.

It was as if there was a piece of glass that was being slid on by long fingernails.

Suddenly the glass pierced his fingernails and dug into the cracks, blood falling to the ground in drops.

But the unrelenting glass had penetrated the nail!

I didn't dare mind the weirdness and concentrated on the commercials.

The sound of plumbing stops in my ears.

I felt my heartbeat again, a disorganized one that stood out in this space.

The whole villa had the sound of the TV, but in my mind it was silent.

The Quiet Terror ......

"Bang! ...... Bang!"

I hear a heartbeat coming from my chest, a sound that doesn't belong in the house.

"Zee ......"

Strange noises came from behind him.

I didn't turn around, and through the reflection of the TV screen I saw that the door directly in front of my head opened.

Inside the door a piece of white gauze-like cloth was floating.

I took one look at it and wasn't paying attention, "Oh! Left the window open, I said why is it so cold!"

I can't say whether it was self-assurance or forced composure.

I made myself comfortable on the couch with a bottle of Fat House Happy Water in my mouth, just a steady stream of sweat running down my face in the chilly villa.

Hands shaking, I put the fat happy water on the table and pretended to be uninterested in everything.

Trying to force myself to fall asleep.

One minute.

Two minutes.

Three minutes.

......

I don't know after, how long.

The door closed again on its own.

I wiped my face, leaving tears of sweat and fear on the blanket.

There must be no one else living in the house, so there are only outsiders here besides myself.

I inwardly cursed, "What the hell is this? A thief? Or! Not a human being!"

I felt the malice of messy eating and drinking, and my stomach suddenly hurt.

Covering my stomach, I search the table for anything I can use to relax.

Today, I Hao in is to pull dead here, spray a pants, but also impossible to leave this couch.

Looking up at the popcorn bucket, he casually poured the popcorn into the bag of chips.

I was just about to take off my pants when I saw the surveillance above my head.

How can a big, innocent young man, who has been dating his girlfriend for so long and who has never offered his body, offer his asshole under surveillance.

I put on my shoes, they were a gift from my date, and although my date was very sweet when she gave me something, they were small, and I lacked a sweet shoehorn, so I had to struggle with them every time I wore them.

I reached my hand down slowly, and suddenly my face went cold.

It was as if he held something colder in his hand.

Immediately afterward, I saw the thing I had been most afraid of in my life.

And he was staring at me.

"See me!"

"Ou? I know you!"

He slowly lowered his head and a pale, bloodless face was looking at him.

"Hey!"

"This time, it's my turn to get you!"

I jumped up, took my feet back on the couch and curled up on it.

It's as if the horror never existed.

I grabbed the amulet in my hand and slowly looked down under the couch.

"Found you!"

A pair of hands suddenly appeared from below with the smell of burning, and those hands grabbed me by the neck, preventing me from breathing.

A rotten reddish-brown face reappeared under the couch with a horrible smile, "Come with me!"

Burnt hands, nails in my neck, I tried to move but I couldn't breathe!

My life, it doesn't belong to me anymore!

------------

Chapter 3, Goodbye Old Hao!

An inverted triangular ghost head hovered in mid-air staring at me with a grin on its face, his mouth emitting a foul odor as he laughed out loud, "Where do you think you're going?"

"Come with me!"

"Hell is where you belong, and you, like me, belong here for now!"

"Hell is where you and I belong!"

I looked left and right and realized there was nowhere to go.

I'm dying?

No!

I can't die!

The hope for life shattered the fear in my heart.

I struggled to break away from those horrible hands, but found no control over my body.

Meeting those eyes, I really got a good look at the horrible face.

It was supposed to be a human face.

Said it was supposed to be!

It was because the ghost face looked really horrible, the skin was tightly attached to the bones, and it was completely impossible to see a living person, it looked like a skeleton, yet it smelled like a human being.

Hollow eyes, there is no life there, there is just a deep white through the cold lamp, but Hao in but through this see the soul in general.

In the fire, is that what you look like?

Nope!

I have a good memory, and I clearly remember that it turned out to be the spirit of a long-haired woman in the fire.

In the blink of an eye, the woman's soul switched to her own.

The human-skinned skeleton also wore a puzzled look, and the white lights in his eyes flickered a bit.

He lifted his head and looked at me, and suddenly he opened his mouth wide and bit down on my throat.

There was no way back, and I let out a scream of fear as I felt something inside me diminish little by little.

Runs along the teeth of the skeleton.

A thought arose in my unspecified mind that it was my own soul that was being lost, and that this guy was eating my own soul, or rather taking the life out of my body.

"Please! Let me go!"

"I can't die, I can't die now!"

I was afraid, I was terrified, begging for mercy from the skeleton in front of me.

But, the condescending ghost thing didn't hear my plea.

Inside my body, a flavor different from the other souls made the skeleton's body slowly seem to bulge as if inflated.

"Come with me, come with me, live forever, I take your soul with me forever! Let go! The frail life of man."

Little by little my will was disintegrated by physical powerlessness.

The powerlessness in the hospital, the confusion of a teenager facing the gap between ideals and reality, made my thirst for life slowly fade away.

Little by little, I stopped struggling.

In a daze, I seemed to leave my body.

My soul traveled, I saw the mountains, I saw the clouds.

Seeing what used to be the campus, seeing his girlfriend lying under someone else screaming.

I saw the hospital downtown.

The middle-aged man hiding in the darkness was praying on his knees, "Don't blame me, I'll thank you, don't blame me only your bad luck, boy."

"Don't worry, I'll pay your family and I'll save your father!"

He held his cell phone in his hand, and the screen showed me exactly as I was in the villa.

The door to the EICU opened again and a small nurse came out anxiously, seeing the man at the door and exclaiming, "You're Hu Li's family, she's waking up."

The man hidden in the corner walked excitedly to the little nurse, the joy on his face unable to be concealed, "Thank you! Thank you!"

He bowed his head seemingly not to thank the nurse.

I perceived the thanks with malice, a cry that signaled me to go to hell.

My heart is full of hate, the world is not fair.

It shouldn't be, I'm damned!

I'm not a good person, but I don't deserve to die like this.

The man suddenly saw the cell phone as the teenager tried to break free from the pull of the ghostly thing.

His face instantly became vicious again, "Don't run, go to hell!"

"Let him eat you and let him take you, then my Lilly won't have to go!"

"Go to hell! Go to hell!"

I screamed and reached out to try and grab the bad man, I was going to kill him.

Whoever let me die, you can't live!

My long-nailed hand stabbed forward, and I suddenly perceived a life-giving force that entered my soul.

A sense of solidity fills my brain and I return to my body.

"I don't want to die, die you die!"

"Bang!"

I saw this ugly ghost face again.

He looked up strangely as he sensed my awakening, "Huh? Kid you have seriously ill relatives!"

I didn't answer his question, and took advantage of the gap between him losing his mind and taking my computer stand hard enough to give him a hard knock on the head.

He swayed, still on top of me, only for his head to fly a good distance away and hit the wall.

I took the opportunity to struggle to my feet, I was not willing to go to hell like this.

Me!

Hao in!

A humble human being decides!

Live!

Do whatever it takes to live!

I bit off the flesh from the ghostly thing, and a great strength suddenly appeared in my body, and taking advantage of the opportunity I would knock him down.

The ghostly thing was on the floor looking for its head, and I immediately ran up to the second floor and panicked, ducking into an unoccupied room.

Hiding in the closet of my room, I leaned my head against the closet door, a head full of sweat landing along it.

Breath caught in my throat and I strained to hear the sound of chains on the floor outside.

In the struggle just now, I bit off a piece of the ghost thing's flesh in a desperate attempt at nausea, which also completely enraged that him.

"Clap ...... Clap!" The sound of chains was getting closer to him.

"Dogs, bite me! Come out! Come to hell with me!"

"Come out! Come out!"

The voice was getting closer and closer to me, and I mentally worshipped all the gods I could, the three clearings and the six gods, Jesus and Buddha's, whoever it was now.

Whoever can appear before me, I am willing to offer for the rest of my life.

I'm nervous and scared. I can't die. If I die, my family is gone.

I'm not a rich man, I'm not an ambitious man, I don't wish for much, just to hold on to my broken home.

"WOW ...... WOW!"

The sound of the chains slowly faded away, I didn't dare to make any movements, my body stiffened in the cupboard, "Just stay up until morning."

I've heard my grandmother say that no matter what demons and monsters are afraid of dawn.

As long as it's daylight, everything will be fine!

A helpless teenager who begs with all his might for nothing more than to live.

The sound of the chains grows farther away, and my arms stiffen as, bit by bit, I pull my cell phone out of my jacket pocket.

His hand was sticky, and he didn't know if it was his own blood or the monster's, and it took two consecutive taps to light up the screen.

The moment the light appeared before my eyes, a moment of head dripping with blood appeared out of thin air in front of me.

"Ah!"

"Hey! I found you again!"

An arm-thick chain was placed over my head and I stumbled to the ground, "Let me go! I didn't mess with you, I have no grudge against you, let me go!"

The ghostly thing, pressed against me, the chain in its hand pulling in tightly, "The rule down there is that you can't take a living soul."

"I have no choice!"

The ghost thing looked at me gasping for air and raised its head, refusing to let go, "I know you were wrongly accused, you shouldn't be the one to die today, but I can't get out of this house."

"I'm being counted out, and if I can't take one soul down with me today, I'm gone."

"It's better for you to be punished by hell than for me to lose everything! I've waited centuries for the position of a Ghostbuster, I can't afford to lose it!"

"Sorry, go fuck yourself!"

Cold ghostly hands covered my head and almost plunged into my eyes, "Stop struggling and take a deep breath, soon!"

"Come down with me! Go down there and you'll be fine!"

"Go to hell! We're in this together!"

The stench penetrated my lungs along my nostrils, and I felt a fire in my lungs, my whole body pressed against the ghostly thing, and I had the desire to struggle but could do nothing.

It was clear that the body was slowly not belonging to me, and in a trance I saw my soul once again.

I want to live.

But there's no way around it, so let's just give up!

I lay on the cold floor, once again unconscious.

Just moments before I finally passed out, I vaguely heard the sound of something heavy hitting the ground and heard a familiar voice.

"Where are you a new soul to bump into me!"

"I'll go with you and beg you, my lord, to let him go! He is still a child! He doesn't deserve to die!"

"You're a spirit, not a ghost, you can't go to hell!"

"I'll be damned! I deserve to die! Don't worry, right now, right now I'll die, take me away and let him go!"

"I'm dying on my own, you'll be fine if you take me!"

"Drop ...... drop ......"

The villa was empty, with only the sound of dripping echoing.

"Missy, I'm going to help you one more time, live well from now on!"

A light appeared and I was vaguely conscious.

Once again, the villa felt quiet, and only the fact that I was lying on the floor was proof of what had just happened here.

The sound of a cell phone vibrating suddenly rang through the villa, and I slowly opened my eyes, feeling around my body in confusion, "I'm, okay?"

With great effort, I was able to open the phone, "Hello!"

"You're Hao in! Where are you?"

"Nurse Lee, is there something you want to buy? Not enough money? I'll pay it right away!" I struggled to get up.

"No ...... no! Your father is gone, come back!"

"Bang!" The phone hit the floor and the screen shattered.

I stood helplessly in the empty villa hall, looking at my face through the screen of the television.

A face that has lost its soul.

I've spelled my name but I've failed. Poor people's lives are so worthless!

"Hey! Hello! Are you still there?"

"Well, I'm going to the hospital right now!"

I walked out of the villa numbly, my clothes in tatters, and the security guard at the door didn't stop me.

Walk to the intersection by the villa area.

I saw one that old security guard crying and burning paper at an intersection with a young man beside him comforting him.

I'm numb to the fact that I can't feel this, I can't feel the world.

The mind is empty of any thoughts.

Just walking numbly, but suddenly I saw the young man beside the old man, following him through the cars on the road.

I looked at my hand in amazement and realized the blood of the ghostly thing on my hand, but then I looked up and realized there was nothing on my hand in the store glass on the road.

"So it's ...... true?"

"The ghost stuff is real? And the last voice you heard was real?"

"I can live because someone died for me?"

I looked at myself in the shards of glass, the touch of my father flashing in my eyes.

A life for a life?

In the shadowy mirror, all tattered, my eyes were cloudy.

"Mr. Hu! You deserve to die!"

In the dead of night, a hundred ghosts walk at night.

I'm Hao Zai. Since I was a kid, I could see ghosts because my body has the most yin energy.

In the City God's temple, the temple priest said I was the reincarnation of a child.

A child who can eat ghosts!

------------

Chapter 4, who doesn't have a backstage anymore!

When I ran to the hospital, the hallways were already full of loved ones.

Uncle Two walked up to me and raised his hand high in the air, then slowly dropped it on my shoulder, "Where have you been! Your dad ...... your dad is gone!"

I nodded away and found the very center of the crowd, my relatives' eyes plugging into me.

There were a lot of people and I was alone, "Where's my dad?"

The little nurse with glasses stood at the red light of the eicu.

I looked to the bed beside her, covered with a white cloth, and there was no sadness in my heart; was I a cold-blooded man?

I'm not sure!

Uncle Two walked over to me, "Send it to the funeral parlor! Think about it, Xiao Zai, you'll have to live on your own from now on!"

My mom died young.

I was told that I used to have an older brother, but he died young before I came to this world.

Now that my father is gone, I'm really alone.

I feel like I should be sad, but I really don't feel sad inside!

"No way! Uncle Two, we're not going to the funeral home! No cremation! We'll stay at the hospital!"

"Why don't you know better than to stay at the hospital! You have to learn to let go!"

"I can't let go! Uncle Two! Trust me, stay in the hospital!" I stared up at Second Uncle, my eyes full of determination.

Uncle Two shook his head, "Stay in the hospital, and you won't be able to take the community subsidy of 1,000 yuan for the cremation fee! You have to think about it! Xiao Zai!"

Seven aunts and some familiar relatives gathered around, "Yes! You'll be living on your own from now on!"

"A thousand! You're too young to realize how much you can do with a thousand dollars!"

"Xiao-Zhou, listen to my cousin, these relatives have come here for your father's affairs, if you don't do the work and don't mourn, you're not delaying everyone's time!"

I looked around as the jumble of words came crashing down on me like a boulder.

"Bang!" The iron frame in the backpack smashed on the ground.

No one dares to speak.

I pulled a bunch of red checks I'd just taken out of the ATM out of my pocket and dropped them on the floor.

"My dad, not going anywhere!"

"Just stay in the hospital!"

"I said it!"

I picked up the iron frame and looked to my relatives who took a step back, "Who's in favor?"

With my foot on the bill on the floor, I looked to the little nurse who had been hyping up the payment, "Who's against it!"

No one said anything, I looked at the little nurse, "Sister, please take my father's body to the morgue, the cost, I will pay enough this time, no one can move it without my signature!"

The little nurse nodded dumbly as she looked at the different me in front of her.

I followed my father, walking the whole way, ignoring the people behind me.

It's cold in the morgue. I like it.

It was light in the east when I came out.

With the fifty thousand dollars I took out last night in my pocket, I got in the car to go home.

The sunlight followed the building as it flashed through the window, and in the shadows a wandering spirit not of the sunny side of the world hid.

I reach out and I will no longer belong to this sunshine.

When I was a child, the fortune teller said I was a child and had come to earth for a journey.

So I can see ghosts. Grandma is a famous rice-asking woman in all the villages and has seen too many horrors. In order not to let me be taken away by the netherworld at an early age, she asked me to worship Shing Wong as my godfather.

Ask the temple priest to give me a spiritual talisman to increase my yang energy.

And made me swear not to go to the netherworld for the rest of my life.

Only, this time I couldn't listen to my grandmother!

In fact, when I was a child, I was a disobedient child, my grandmother said that she would not allow me to learn rice, and did not let me learn the wild Maoshan arts, although I have not practiced.

But in order to pretend in front of my classmates, I secretly memorized all those stories, ways to practice.

At eight o'clock in the morning, the road was crowded with people.

The place I'm going to is not very crowded, not many young people come to the city temple to offer incense in the morning.

The only people in the temple were the temple priests, except for some elderly people who had nowhere else to go.

The old temple priest is very old, but he doesn't look old at all, as if he looked like this when I was very young.

He wasn't surprised to see me, "Your grandmother's things were left in the temple, come in with me and get them!"

"I told you long ago, you are a child's life, you are destined to eat in the underworld in this life."

He turned back to my neck, "You saw a ghost last night?"

"No!" The old man came up to sniff, "This smell, is it a ghostbuster?"

"I haven't seen a ghostbuster in years!"

I followed the old temple priests, and unlike my peers, I grew up squatting next to the old men and listening to their stories of the past.

Where there are ghosts and spirits, where there is gossip, and who is a young daughter-in-law who gives birth to a child that isn't her man's, this is all the knowledge I've accumulated since I was a child.

"You've seen the ghostbusters?"

The old temple priest was a bit shy, "I met him once a few years ago!"

"What year?"

"The year your grandmother died!"

"You mean, my grandmother is?"

"That's right, when your grandmother was alive she was a rice-asking woman, and she accumulated too much yin virtue in this life, so she went down to hell and was directly recruited by all the yin to work as an errand boy!"

I was a bit puzzled, I always thought that my grandmother was just an ordinary old lady who knew a bit of wild maoshan magic, but I didn't realize that she could still be connected to the netherworld.

Am I the legendary Yin San?

But I'm still breathing!

That background doesn't help a bit!

"Your Majesty, what kind of person is my grandmother!"

The old man, not shy, gave me a happy retrospective look, "She ah! Is a smart one!"

"Seriously, I've never seen anyone so talented!"

"You all think your grandmother learned Wild Maoshan, wrong!"

"She really did come down from Maoshan, if not for that wimpy grandson of your grandpa, your grandma would have become a generation of celestial masters long ago!"

The old man lifted his own left foot and slowly crossed the threshold as he lifted my grandfather.

His face was full of disdain: "Your grandmother's family was poor when she was a child, so she was sent to Maoshan, and during those years of war, your grandfather was a soldier, and was wounded and landed at the foot of Maoshan."

"Your grandmother was kind-hearted so she saved him back, who knew that this kid was a wolf and thought about your grandmother, your grandmother didn't know how she was tricked down the mountain by him!"

"After coming down from the mountain, in order to make a living, your grandmother became a rice-asking woman, asking for rice for the masters and townsfolk of eight villages in ten miles to exorcise evil spirits and cure diseases!"

I took the rag bag the old man had taken from behind the city godfather.

The old man looked back at the door, "That's when I came down from the mountain, you don't know that, in fact, your grandmother is my elder sister!"

"I know!"

"Hmm? You know?"

"My grandmother said that!"

"So, you kid, you didn't call me grandpa when you were a kid!"

"I didn't always think you were cheating our family out of money!"

"Get lost, who cheated your family of money, the spirit talisman I gave you was offered for a thousand days in front of the City God, without it you would have been bullied by the lonely ghosts!"

"Hey, don't be angry, Your Highness! That's not, little unintelligent!"

"Now you understand things? Your grandmother died with a thousand instructions not to let you walk the path of the yin and yang, and now you come to take her magic treasures, what a filial son!"

I lowered my head and rummaged through the bag my grandmother had left behind, "My dad's gone!"

"People always die!"

"He was pulled away by the Undertaker, he's not dead!"

"You met the Undertaker? You want to seek revenge on the Undertaker?"

"You're joking! How can a living person beat the Yin Yin, what kind of status are we to fight with the officials! My father left to save me, and I fell for the evil plan of the Yin-Yang Road!"

I looked up at the old man, "Master Wang, I can't get over it in my heart, I have to get my dad back!"

------------

Chapter 5. He's not human.

The old man stared up at me, sunlight interposed between the two of us.

Incense customers on the people, from a side door to go through, young people seek to work well, small couples seek a lifetime, middle-aged people seek the peace of their children, the elderly on the incense just for the reunion of the family.

The old man looked at me, "Kid, the living don't fight with the Underworld!"

I nodded, "Your Highness, I know you're doing this for my own good, but you always have to try everything!"

"Young people, you can't be too angry you have to be calm!"

"You say that, if you're not angry, you're still a young man!"

"OK, your kid is just like me when I was young, I can't persuade you! If you encounter something you can't solve, you can go to the funeral parlor's side of the street, looking for a casket master!"

"Guan Gong? Taking such a big name?"

Bad taste was born in my heart, "Then, old man, did you like my grandmother a lot back then, too?"

"Loved it!"

"And now?"

"The light boat has crossed ten thousand mountains!" The old man has a fairy-like appearance, with the City God Temple incense curls really have a fairy look.

Just the few hairs flailing in the wind ruin the image.

I hugged what Grandma left behind.

A book, written by a grandmother, with no title and no laws of cultivation.

It is said that hundreds of years ago, a group of great powers fought, causing the yin and yang to turn upside down and the aura to dry up.

The world of the living is also separated from the world of the dead.

Grandma said that the earth was most haunted during those centuries.

Later, because of the wars throughout the world, there were too many dead souls, and the netherworld was not as yin-rich as the yangworld.

The two worlds are once again upside down!

Together with the netherworld's contribution, the barrier between the two realms was only officially opened.

It's only when the yin man is able to enter the yang world at his own pace.

But there are still some powerful ghosts and goblins hovering around the earth and refusing to leave, and the yin messenger came to the earth with damaged strength and could not fight these ghost kings.

Those were the peak years of Maoshan practitioners, but with the advent of another era, Maoshan became a thing of the past.

In this era of aura depletion, human cultivation was basically non-existent.

With the exception of some powerful sects that possessed special caverns, the Wild Maoshan Warlocks practiced only a few techniques.

Glutinous rice, thunderbolt wood is raw.

Yellow talismans, black ass hooves, and other methods all draw on the power of the netherworld.

That's why Grandma entered the netherworld after she died, and if I'm right, Grandma should have gotten involved with the netherworld early on when she was alive, too.

How else would I have the chance to worship City God as my godfather.

I flipped up the law, which was more of a book of experience than a law of practice, filled with ways to meet different ghosts and spirits, how to escape, how to tell the difference between ghosts and spirits.

This is all from Grandma's decades of experience.

Inside, there was a small box of some spells left behind by his grandmother.

I put everything away in my own shitty bag and walked out of City Hall to get on the bus.

My destination was the villa from last night, and I wasn't sure what else was in it now.

But, Hu had left the hospital last night and I couldn't find his whereabouts.

You can run away from the monk, but you can't run away from the temple.

In the villa, there must be information about their identity, even if it's just a tiny bit of information I have to find.

Get out of the car and come to the familiar doorway.

The security guard was changing the guard and the young guard saw me and was surprised, "You haven't left yet?"

I carried the breakfast in my hand gesture, "Well, the villa is strange big, there is no food inside, out to buy some, how my uncle came back?"

The young security guard shook his head, "No!"

"I'm going in then!"

I put a packet of Huazi on the table in the security room, "You guys smoke, big brother, I'll leave you a phone number, if my uncle comes back you give me a word."

"My aunt doesn't treat me well, my uncle secretly let me stay here, and I have to leave early when they come back!"

Young security guards know, deep down, what discrimination by the rich looks like in such rich neighborhoods!

He patted his chest, "Don't worry, man, hold on to me!"

"We're all buddies in here, I'll have everyone take a look for you!"

I pulled out another packet of wazi from my backpack and placed it on the table, "Thank you, big brother, then! I'll go back first!"

Building 14 in the daytime is completely different than at night.

The big villa in the daytime, not at all like the night version of horror, looked opulent, and I pushed the door open with a different mood.

If my life hadn't changed because of what happened last night, I probably never would have had the opportunity to come to a place like this in my life.

The room was as cluttered as ever, and the fear inside me was temporarily suppressed.

Hands in his backpack, a mahogany nail in the bundle he brought from the City Hall.

That is grandma's most precious thing, when I was a child I looked at grandma are not allowed, she said that this is the only piece of magic weapon she left from Maoshan take away.

A mahogany peg carved from 100 year old lightning struck wood with a lot of yang energy on the peg.

The average brat would be scared out of his wits at the sight of it.

I'm confident that even if the ghostbusters from last night come out again, I'll have a way to deal with them.

Only the sunlight moved from the west to the east side of the villa, and nothing changed in the room.

I took the mahogany nails and went through the whole villa, finding nothing except a section of what looked like snake skin on the second floor.

The night is fast approaching.

I sat down on the couch in despair, now even though I had a ghost killing plan, I couldn't find the enemy and there wasn't a thing I could do about it.

"Bam!" The sudden sound that came broke my musings.

I'm actually a little excited at the moment.

The sound came from behind the door, and I had the mahogany nail in my hand.

Immortals use magic weapons to consume aura, and mortals like me who have not practiced use the Maoshan Immortal Method to consume their own qi and lifespan.

Nonetheless, I'm not willing to back down.

"Bam!" The sound is getting closer, I'm going to take this last chance.

I held my breath, afraid that my breath might startle this thing that I didn't know what it really was.

The sound stopped with my breathing.

There is a wind outside the villa, and a clock is moving little by little inside the villa.

Suddenly a light shone through the window and an old voice reached my ears, "Who's in there?"

I didn't answer.

The old man continued to speak, "I know there's someone, if you don't talk, I'll call the police, come out!"

I was a little disappointed to hear that the police had been called.

For I could hear that the owner of the voice should be a stranger I had seen.

"Grandpa, it's me! We met last night!" I stepped out of the shadows behind the door.

A withered figure outside the window was draped in a baggy security uniform.

It's the same old security guard I had a meeting with last night.

He saw me and was a little puzzled, "You still ...... still there?"

"Uh-huh! My uncle isn't back yet, so I'll wait for him here!"

The old guard's flashlight shone around the room, "Why is this place so messy?"

"I got drunk yesterday and smashed it myself, you don't have to worry, my uncle knows about all this, he won't look for the property!"

The old guard sniffs around outside the window, "Drunken smash?"

"Why do I smell something that doesn't belong in the yang?"

As an afterthought, I said, "You're on the yin and yang path, too?"

I was suddenly happy, as if I had seen a beam of light in the dark night: "Then do you know where my uncle has gone?"

"He's not your uncle, is he!"

"What do you mean?"

"I mean, he's not human, you're human!"
