Shiv Shakti

Overview

Dedicated to

Sri Jitendra Anand

Shiv Shakti

Shiv, in silence, meditates deep,

Sati's love for him, makes her weep.

Her sacrifice in Daksha's pyre,

Ignites in Shiv, a furious fire.

From Sati's ashes, Parvati takes birth,

Her love for Shiv, pure as Earth.

With penance, she wins his heart,

Their union, a divine work of art.

Sati and Parvati, both forms of Shakti,

In Shiv's life, they make a triptych.

One his first love, the other his spouse,

Both bring life to the cosmic house.

In the dance of cosmos, they twirl and sway,

Shiv and Shakti, in eternal ballet.

Their presence, in every atom you'll find,

A cosmic embrace, of the divine kind.

In the cosmic theater, where galaxies twirl,

Shiv steps forth—a conscious whirl.

His gaze ignites stars, his breath the cosmic breeze,

The silent witness, the eternal at ease.

Beside him, Shakti pirouettes, wild and free,

Nature’s rhythm, life’s ceaseless spree.

She births galaxies, paints dawn’s hues,

Her dance—the pulse of existence, ancient and true.

Together they waltz, a celestial embrace,

Shiv-Shakti—the cosmic heartbeat’s grace.

He the seer, she the canvas unfurled,

Only with both, dear universe, can you whirl.

Song

(Verse 1)

In the cosmic dance of life, they intertwine,

Shiv, the silent witness, the divine design.

His third eye sees all, the universe within,

Conscience pure, where wisdom and truth begin.

(Chorus)

Shakti, the primal force, fierce and wild,

Dancing flames, creation's fiery child.

Her energy pulses through every vein,

Life's rhythm, passion's storm, and endless gain.

(Verse 2)

Shiv meditates atop the snow-capped peak,

His matted hair holds secrets that mystics seek.

He wears the crescent moon, a silver crown,

Guiding souls through cycles, up and down.

(Chorus)

Shakti, the tempest, the cosmic tide,

In her fierce gaze, galaxies collide.

She births stars, galaxies, and realms untold,

A cosmic womb where mysteries unfold.

(Bridge)

Together they waltz, yin and yang entwined,

Shiv whispers truth, Shakti dances blind.

He is the stillness, she the vibrant flow,

In their cosmic union, all stories grow.

(Chorus)

Shakti, the thunder, the lightning's kiss,

Her dance ignites suns, galaxies, and bliss.

She weaves existence from her fiery strands,

In her cosmic embrace, all life expands.

(Outro)

So let us sing of Shiv and Shakti's grace,

Their eternal dance, the cosmic chase.

Conscience and energy, boundless and free,

In their sacred union, we find divinity.

Cosmic Dance of Creation

In the cosmic dance of creation’s birth,

Shiv and Shakti entwine, spinning the earth.

He, the silent ascetic, eyes closed in trance,

She, the fiery divine, in wild, rhythmic dance.

Shiv, the ash-smeared sage, moon on his brow,

His third eye pierces veils, illusions bow.

Meditation’s refuge, lost in inner space,

He weaves galaxies from stillness and grace.

Shakti, tempest-haired, laughter unbound,

Dance echoes through ages, worlds spun around.

Flames lick her form, passion’s primal game,

She births existence, whispers each name.

Together they waltz, cosmic lovers entwined,

He the quietude, She the motion defined.

Galaxies bloom, stars ignite in their wake,

Life’s intricate balance, a celestial ache.

Shiv, destroyer of veils, illusions’ demise,

His gaze shatters falsehoods, truth in his eyes.

Shakti, primal force, creation’s wild flow,

Her dance births suns, rivers, and seeds that grow.

In temples, hearts, and minds, let reverence ignite,

For within their union, the universe takes flight.

Shiv and Shakti—the eternal cosmic bind,

Where love and creation forever intertwine.

Shiv (The Seed):

Silent Ascetic, atop Kailash’s peak,

He sits—meditative sage, eyes closed, mystique.

Contemplating the universe, essence pure,

Consciousness embodied, tranquil and sure.

Third Eye, the eye of wisdom, ablaze,

Beyond illusion, veils fall in its gaze.

Truth revealed, ignorance shattered by light,

In stillness, Shiv weaves day into night.

Moon Adorned, crescent gracing his hair,

Waxing and waning cycles he bears.

From dust to stars, life’s eternal spin,

Shiva’s essence—cosmic cycles within.

Ashes smeared, detachment’s sacred sign,

Forms dissolve, transient as sands of time.

Material desires yield to cosmic trust,

In Kailash’s silence, ashes turn to dust.

Shakti (The Earth):

Wild Dance, tempest-haired and free,

Shakti whirls—a cosmic symphony.

Tresses aflame, storms birthed in her wake,

Galaxies spun, existence takes shape.

Laughter echoes through epochs untold,

Nurturing mother, fierce warrior bold.

Her fiery essence animates all life,

From quarks to constellations, vibrant and rife.

Cosmic Game, destiny’s intricate thread,

Weaving souls, entwining lives widespread.

Shakti orchestrates existence’s trance,

In her cosmic dance, galaxies enhance.

Together, Ardhanarishvara they form,

Half-male, half-female—a union warm.

Shiv’s stillness complements her motion,

Balance of creation, devotion’s ocean.

In temples, hearts, and minds, we revere,

Their eternal embrace—the cosmic frontier.

Shiv and Shakti—the dance of love’s flame,

Where existence blooms, forever the same.

Shiv and Shakti

In the cosmic dance of existence,

Two forces intertwine, ever persistent:

Shiv, the silent witness, the sage,

And Shakti, the fiery energy on life's stage.

Shiv, the Conscience

Shiv, the ascetic with matted hair,

Dwells in the icy caves of introspection.

His third eye gazes beyond illusion,

Unraveling the secrets of creation.

He wears serpents as ornaments,

Their venom transmuted into wisdom.

His blue throat holds the poison of existence,

A sacrifice for the world's salvation.

Shiv dances the Tandava, fierce and wild,

Destroying old forms, making way for the new.

His crescent moon illuminates the night,

A beacon for seekers lost in the cosmic hue.

Shakti, the Energy

Shakti, the primal force, dances with abandon,

Her hips swaying to the rhythm of life.

She wears flames as her garment,

Igniting passion, birthing galaxies in strife.

Her eyes blaze like a thousand suns,

Fierce and tender, nurturing and wild.

She rides the tiger, her mount of power,

Fearless, untamed, the cosmic child.

Shakti's breath fans the embers of creation,

Her laughter echoes through the cosmic expanse.

She births stars from her womb,

Each twinkle a promise of cosmic romance.

Together, They Unite

Shiv and Shakti, inseparable and divine,

The stillness and the dance, the void and the form.

In their union, the universe pulses,

Creation and destruction, the eternal norm.

So, when you seek balance within,

Remember Shiv's wisdom and Shakti's fire.

For in their dance, life unfolds,

A cosmic tapestry woven with desire.

Ardhanarishvara: The Cosmic Union

Shiv-Shakti:

Shiv, the silent ascetic on Kailash’s peak,

Eyes closed, he contemplates existence’s mystique.

Pure consciousness, detached from earthly strife,

His stillness weaves galaxies, the fabric of life.

Shakti, cosmic energy, dances with grace,

Her tresses aflame, a tempest in space.

Nurturer and creator, she spins cosmic threads,

From stardust to suns, where existence treads.

Together they waltz, a harmonious blend,

Shiv’s serenity, Shakti’s wild trend.

Creation and dissolution, their eternal play,

In their cosmic dance, night turns into day.

Ardhanarishvara: The Half-Woman Lord

Ardhanarishvara—half-male, half-female form,

A celestial alchemy, where energies transform.

Ardha—half, Nari—woman, Ishvara—Lord,

In this sacred union, cosmic secrets are stored.

On the right, Shiv sits, matted hair unraveled,

Crescent moon adorning, wisdom’s path traveled.

His third eye gazes beyond illusion’s veil,

Destroyer of ignorance, cosmic winds set sail.

On the left, Shakti dances, adorned with grace,

Jewelry sparkling, her laughter fills space.

She births galaxies, sustains life’s grand scheme,

Primal force, weaving existence like a dream.

Balance of opposites, cosmic design.

Ma Sati

It all began when Brahma sought Adi Shakti's aid,

To weave the cosmos, stars, and realms arrayed.

Shiv, selfless as ever, gave her away,

Renouncing blissful union, he chose the ascetic's way.

The world took shape, creation complete,

But Adi Shakti, now human, faced her fate's feat.

Daksh, her father, through penance's plea,

Wished her reborn as his daughter, Sati, free.

Sati, the apple of Daksh's eye, so fair,

Yet Shiv's love beckoned, beyond compare.

Daksh, the lawgiver, wielded power supreme,

His arrogance grew, a tyrant's dream.

Shiv, the maverick, danced to his own tune,

Unfazed by codes, he danced 'neath the moon.

Yogi, sage, wielder of cosmic might,

He meditated in Kailash's tranquil light.

Sati's heart, aflame, sought Shiv's embrace,

Her passion unyielding, defying time and space.

Daksh, enraged, barred their union's door,

A swayamvar held, but Shiv was ignored.

The garland meant for princes found its way,

Around Shiv's neck, where devotion held sway.

He emerged, flesh and spirit entwined,

Sati's love, unyielding, forever enshrined.

Daksh's fury blazed, a raging fire,

He scorned Shiv, fueled by ire.

A grand Yagna announced, Sati excluded,

Her heart torn, love and duty colluded.

In the Yagna hall, truth's veil unfurled,

Daksh's insults hurled, a wounded world.

Sati, torn between father and spouse,

Chose sacrifice, her love's final vows.

Some say she leaped into the Yagna's flame,

The birth of Sati-pratha, a sorrowful name.

Others whisper Agni's refusal to ignite,

Fearful of Mahadev's wrath, love's sacred light.

Sati, the phoenix, her inner fire ablaze,

Reduced to ashes, transcending mortal maze.

Reborn as Parvati, love's eternal dance,

Their saga continued, fate's second chance.

Family

In the realm of divine and mighty,

Lived Sati, a goddess so bright and flighty.

Daughter of Daksh, the king so grand,

In the celestial world, he held a strong hand.

Her heart was won by Shiv, the ascetic,

Their love story, truly poetic.

He, the destroyer, in meditation deep,

She, the daughter of Daksh, his love to keep.

Their union was opposed, by Daksh's might,

But love prevailed, shining bright.

Sati's devotion to Shiv, pure and true,

In the face of adversity, their love grew.

But tragedy struck, in Daksh's court,

To a grand yagna, Sati sought.

Her father's insult to Shiv, she couldn't bear,

And gave up her life, in deep despair.

Her story is of love, and sacrifice,

Of standing for truth, paying the price.

In the great cosmic family, she plays her part,

A tale of divine love, that touches the heart.

Daksh - Father

In the realm of myths, so vast and wide,

Daksh stood tall, with daughters his pride.

A sage of legend, his deeds still sing,

In the hallowed halls where echoes ring.

Prajapati Daksh, with honor so bright,

In mythic annals, he shone like light.

From Brahma's thought, he took his form,

With purpose strong, he weathered the storm.

His lineage vast, like stars in the night,

In cosmic tales, they burn so bright.

Sati, his child, with Shiv’s fate entwined,

Their love, a tale, through ages defined.

Yet Daksh and Shiv, minds apart,

Their discord sowed a battle's start.

One, a king with pride so fierce,

The other, a yogi, the cosmos to pierce.

A ritual grand, Daksh set ablaze,

Shunning Shiv, in his haughty ways.

But Sati, bold, to the fire she went,

Defying the divide her father had meant.

In flames she fell, her journey's end,

A sacrifice that time can't mend.

Daksh's ego, once unyielding and vast,

Now broken, as he faced the aftermath.

Time's wheel turns, sparing none its dance,

Teaching through fire, fate's harsh lance.

For even gods can be blinded by pride,

In creation's waltz, where truths collide.

Shiv’s fury, a tempest unleashed,

Daksh's hubris, by wisdom breached.

A goat's head borne, humility's mark,

A tale retold, in history's arc.

Daksh's story, from pride to fall,

A call to heed life's humble call.

Reborn in grace, a symbol true,

Of humility's path, for me and you.

Honor all beings, the lesson's core,

Lest pride leads to a fall once more.

Daksh's plight, in power and regret,
