Kentucky Burgoo & chicken slow cooks with the combination of pork tenderloin, boneless fat-trimmed chicken breast, chicken stocks, peppers with some other veggies like thyme, bay leaf, tomatoes, cloves garlic, celery, carrots, onions and sweet potato. You want to include frozen corn and lima beans before stirring, and then cook again for additional 30 minutes to 1 hour, considering the fact that you must have precooked before getting to this stage. This recipe is not complete without the addition of cornstarch, you want to add some water before thoroughly mixing with the soup, cook further at low heat while uncovered for ten more minutes, remove from heat and then enjoy this tasty chicken stew.

Globally, one of the major tools in most kitchens today is the slow cooker.
For many years, chefs and cooks have been making use of slow cookers, most especially for preparing soups, stews and chilies.
Apart from the pleasure you will derive with the slow cooker, the health status will perform at its best, while you will find it hard to drop below the normal or recommended health standards.
Making use of the slow cooker is very good to become satisfied with the combination of the right and nutritionally healthy ingredients. From the economic and convenience angle, slow cookers are of greater value.
The recipes contained in this book are low in carbs, which will go a long way in helping to balance your body size.
Besides, this cookbook contains over a hundred slow cooker recipes with a combination of natural ingredients that will make you healthy. Preparing your meals in the slow cooker makes you aware of the quantity or the right measures of the sodium and other additives, by observing the nutritional information attached to each slow cooker recipe.
More importantly, preparing your meals in the slow cookers makes you calm, well composed, and lastly make your food processed in a more relaxed way, without undergoing much of stress as the case may be when cooking with the traditional stoves.
If you are always the busy type, you will find this cookbook very pleasant to your satisfaction.
More than ninety percent of the slow cooker recipes contained in this book requires lesser minutes of preparation time, hence you can attend to some other important things as your meals are left cooking, on low or minimum heat or as directed, without getting worried.
Most of the food contents possess lower cholesterol levels, and little oil is prescribed in all the recipes in order to avoid burning, so your meals do not get burnt. Once the heat is set on low, coupled with the time frame, you get back home and only to find out that your food is well prepared and ready to be enjoyed.
The recipes contained in this cookbook are guaranteed to save you excess costs on energy and other types of food.
With lower specification of heat, you can combine all your ingredients together in the slow cooker; turn on low heat even in the night, while it gets fully done the next morning depending on the exact recipe type and time frame required.
The slow cooker is meant to be made part of the routine on a weekly basis, most especially during winter seasons because they do not emit heat in the home the way traditional stoves do.
In conclusion, this is a good cookbook that contains slow cooker recipes of the following categories in which you can select from depending on your choice; Beef/Lamb/Veal Main Dishes, Breakfasts and Brunch, Desserts, Dips and Appetizers, Pork Main Dishes, Poultry (Chicken and Turkey) Main Dishes, Soups, Stews, and Chilies, which are best prepared during the winter time, also pleasant to take all through the twelve months in a single year, and then Vegetable Main Dishes and Sides.
