KITKAT WITH A PERSONALITY & FISH TALES
Kitkat came into my life one day many years ago, when I was still teaching the violin at a home in Box Hill. On this particular day when she arrived, her owner gave her to me tenderly. A very little gentle baby kitten, Kitkat was, only being about 5 to 6 weeks old, a little bit too young to be removed from her litter of kittens and her mother really. it took a few week for her name to be realized, something arising from observing her attitudes and antics. Sometime she even was a bit cheeky.
We met eyes straight away, the first second of arrival into the living room, and she stayed looking at my eyes for quite a whie in that first few minutes upon our first meeting. Then she relaxed, trusted me, and we commenced a trusting close relationship, one on one, she becoming my main residential companion during a teaching period of life. It was a sensitive development and awareness of a very small creature, this little kitten, for me from that day on for a quite number of years. It was a spiriutal relationshiop too, and a heart and soul energy and consciiusness contact relationship over the years, right from her first day of arrival up to the end.
One day, after about the first year of her tender life, growing stronger by the day, relating closely everyday, she decided to start her new social relations with the neighoburing tomboy friendly young black male cat. She invited him to come right into our home, one day, as God told me happened, and as I saw happened but did not understand that it was her actions of invitation, and for a number of days he kept making visits, particularly to her food bowl. Soon though, maybe some months later, I noticed he became very fat, for a cat, from eating all the extra meals at probably at all the nearby houses he entered right into, calling on their resident cats as a regular visitor, and eating cat meals in the resident cats' bowls at many homes. It was quite a social life going on here. I decided it was time to discourage him from eating so much at our place continaully, and becoming such an obese cat, and I then banished him from further visits and meals inside our home. He was an extremely friendly cat, in any case...presuming rights and realtionship.
In any case, as God told me one day, he became Kitkat's boyfriend. Before I knew it, one day, Kitkat came to me in the living room at our home and pawed at my legs to come follow her into the next room. Her mind, mewing sounds and pawing said something to me, and I understood what she was trying to say to me....so I followed her. To my utter amazement, there were three very tiny new born babies of hers...kittens...all lying on the floor of the room at one corner!!! She and the black cat young adult boyfriend had created the babies since maturing some weeks earlier!!! I realized then that I had to get her spayed, have her tubes tied, get her neutered, or have a hysterectomy, whatever the local vet was able to do, or whatever it was called, so that continuous streams of new born kittens wouldn't keep being arriving and then end up over-running the whole house...... with endless new kitten owners needing to be found for them all.
