"I don't know how to begin. I guess I can always start from childhood. I wish I had something dramatic to tell you but actually my life was so average that it was dull. My father wasn't a rich man but he did provide his family with a house, nice furniture, a car and educations for all hands. I think he's looking to me to provide him with grandchildren but kids can wait. I've only been married for three years and there is plenty of time for motherhood. My own mother had three kids in her first three years of marriage. That doesn't make any sense to me. I can't see why a young couple wants to saddle themselves with so much responsibility before their marriage even has a chance to grow. There is more to marriage than parenthood. I feel that a couple should really get to know one another before they allow a horde of children to come between them. Lorne and I expect to have our first child about two years from now. After that we may have a couple more paced at three year intervals. We'll first see how the first baby works out. Maybe it'll be an only child. Nothing wrong with that. In a world faced with disaster due to over-population governments should hand out medals for small families just as they did when they encouraged large ones.
