Introduction I love to eat.....who doesn't right? And with more and more time devoted to work and other activities, sometimes we neglect proper eating habits for those things that are easy, simple, and quick to eat. I am not wealthy by any means, so I couldn't afford fancy chefs or personal trainers to help me with my weight loss. I had to look at the things that were around me and what I could afford, to see how I could affect my weight loss by changing those things. It is also very difficult to change one's life, and that is what weight loss requires: changes - whether they be subtle or dramatic. Most of us can't just start running 5 miles a day, start getting a six pack overnight, or begin eating vegan food by snapping our fingers. It takes a gradual, purposeful change to eventually get to that progressed, active lifestyle point. The body also requires sufficient time and ability to adapt to changes, as sudden shifts in behavior and routine can cause unforeseen health troubles. I was caught up in bad habits for many years and though I tried MANY different ways to lose weight, all it took were a couple simple changes in my lifestyle and the pounds just started coming off. I am very impatient and I bet a lot of you all are also. It is really difficult to look in the mirror or step on a scale everyday and see little to no progress in a weight loss program. I also honestly believe that true, earned weight loss does not come in a pill or unnecessary surgery (and yes some surgeries are truly needed for some people in dire circumstances...I know) because those measures are usually a quick fix, and the weight gain and problems may reappear down the road in the future because a fundamental lifestyle change did not take place. So now we come to the point where you are asking, “What is your suggestion and why am I reading this?” Well I am going to lay out some simple eating and lifestyle hints, recipes, and tips for losing weight. As with any program that involves nutrition and lifestyle change, you should always make sure that you consult a doctor before making any drastic changes. I will also attempt to lay out a natural, cost effective way for you to lose weight that will NOT require any gym memberships and will help lead to a better, more active lifestyle. Change is hard, but with the WILL (and you must have it because you downloaded this e-book) to do it, it will happen for you. I am not going to bore you with technical details, just a little background to explain why I am suggesting the things that I am...I hate when guides do this and put a lot of filler material and don't get down to the bare facts and methods. Finally, I hope you use this material as a guide as a launchpad to leading a healthier, fitter life. If I could do these things and lose 15 pounds over a 3 week period, there is no doubt that you can too!
