FOREWORD

It has always been this way, for as long as anyone can remember: mankind manifests a great difficulty in showing itself empathetic and inclined to sharing, con-ceiving this term in its broadest sense, thus meaning a sharing of ideas, of thoughts, but also of freedoms and feelings.

This sort of “isolation” is as far from any form of co-ercion as it is possible to be, since the only real obsta-cle to the much coveted celebration of a common ex-change is strictly determined by the individual himself as a person, as a being capable of acting, in his most total singularity.

In a world that deviates more and more from con-cepts that verge on the opposite, and thus on inclusion, exchange and union, a change is needed, as well as a punchy and incisive, but also strong and at the same time respectful thrust, to encourage humankind as a whole to join that idea of a group, in order to be able to become intoxicated with prowess and courage, es-sential elements to succeed in facing the intricate sto-rylines of life and emerge from the battle as a victor.

These issues are skillfully addressed by Laura Be-cucci who uses a peaceful yet reflective tone to stir the readers to a sincere self-analysis of themselves and their own being, of that deepest and most personal part that, due to unfounded beliefs, is not expressed and left free to leak out.

Her essay, which is purely philosophical in nature, is thus presented as an invitation, an appeal to all hu-

manity, to persuade it to go beyond what it considers inappropriate and useless, urging it to direct its inner strength to the sole purpose of unearthing the beauty inherent in every individual.

The author then invites us to explore different worlds, such as that of intuition, of luck, of the desire to be able to do more, marking different boundaries that instead of dividing only highlight the most ephemeral part of human existence and the consequent lifeline, found in the identification of that point in common that can lift one from all darkness, despair and loneliness.

This is precisely the key, the necessary element that within the intricate structure of which people are made is drawn as an ideal backbone, vital to that humanitar-ian revolution capable of making people understand how the individual, without the crowd, has no power, no freedom and no compassion ... ingredients without which it will not be possible to live in a better world, where everyone can truly choose their own path with-out any conformist influences.

Therefore, by reflecting on the questions that man asks in his inner self, only through freedom of expres-sion, without ifs and buts, without doubts and without inadequacy, can one stock up on the courage necessary to face reality and to arrive at a rewarding inner calm that will have as its outlet, the acceptance and the shar-ing of one’s humanity.

Ways of “jotting down thoughts.”

Putting on paper seems, most of the time, very dif-ferent from what one has aimed for. In reality, in cer-tain different situations, the common denominator is the rule, the one that can hold the weight of belief. One follows an ideology because one attaches oneself to the spiritual aspect, often translated as instinct.

Putting down thoughts is like opening a window in one’s mind and letting words fly free, carrying the weight of trapped thoughts with them.

Exploring this theme allows us to reflect on the act of expressing our thoughts through writing and the pow-erful liberation that ensues.

Indeed, writing is a means by which thoughts are transformed into words, creating a kind of tangible map of the complexities of our minds.

Jotting down thoughts can thus take various forms, such as personal journaling, poetry, fiction or even scat-tered notes, and it is evident how each of these modal-ities can offer a unique way to explore and share our inner world.

A key aspect of this process is the freedom that writ-ing grants. Written words can overcome the barriers of silence and uncertainty, allowing us to deal with com-plex emotions or shape ideas that might be difficult to express orally. It is like giving voice to considerations that would otherwise remain suspended in the ether of our minds.

Jotting down thoughts is also an act of reflection. As the words flow onto the page, we can critically exam-

ine our theories, discover hidden connections and find clarity amidst the mental chaos. Writing thus becomes a mirror reflecting our inner world.

Keeping a personal journal provides a safe space to explore emotions, and likewise allows us to note each other’s progress and keep track of life’s highs and lows. This process of self-reflection can lead to greater self-awareness and more effective stress management.

From this we infer that writing is not only an indi-vidual act, but it can also serve as a link between us and others. Indeed, sharing our written reflections can create meaningful connections, showing to individuals pieces of our soul that might otherwise remain hidden.

Jotting down thoughts is thus an art of self-expres-sion and inner discovery, and it is through writing that we can unveil our deepest thoughts, free ourselves from the burden of worries, and connect with others through the powerful medium of words.

In the act of writing we find a way to embrace our humanity and share the journey of self-understanding and the world around us.

Insight.

Intuition is a double-edged sword. By guessing cer-tain dynamics that later happen we begin to believe that our intuition is law; instead it is its exact result (at the end of any cycle, the result will be zero). There are no exceptions given the need to make room for deeper lives.

It is as if we were in another dimension (humanity has enough energy force to change a planet at will), so talking about intuition is not enough.

Different terms are needed to describe intuition: childhood, what “one has decided” to follow, the pursuit of a life we have not lived up to that point, to the pres-ent. Living by goals automatically creates a knot that is almost impossible to untie, because we have managed to unearth methods with the sole function of reliving a life from the beginning. I am talking about resetting, through science and medicine, the usual basic mental structure of a person. To what real purpose? More than help it seems to be a methodology of total “behind-the-scenes” control, destroying this famous intuition.

We are constantly being led by someone-but by whom?

We don’t know the high-ups, but we know what they want, because we see it every day as we leave our home. A job, a home, a family and a lot of determination. But what about intuition? If it is part of us, there will be a reason. As much as we may believe in a correct way to aim for the top, what would one need to do if one want-ed to aim for the bottom instead?

The angels are all here

There is no excuse for not acting in the complex mechanism of society; we are bound by our own hands.

Acumen can go so far as to save the purest part of our person, which is often taken as quackery, and that is why it plays the role of an inner guide, a silent voice whispering wisdom beyond rationality.

Exploring this theme allows us to reflect on the power of instinct and its ability to illuminate the path through the complexities of life.

The intuitive act is often associated with a form of instantaneous knowledge, an innate sense that goes be-yond logical reasoning. It can manifest as a feeling, a hunch or a sudden inspiration, eluding rational expla-nation but guiding decisions and actions.

While reasoning requires time and analysis, intuition can offer a lightning-fast solution, an instant insight that guides in situations where logic might falter. This form of inner wisdom can prove especially valuable in quick decisions and unexpected circumstances.

Thus, intuition can emerge in a variety of contexts, from personal problem solving to professional deci-sions. And like an inner compass, if listened to carefully, it can offer valuable guidance even when the answers seem to elude our rational understanding.

A fascinating aspect of intuition is its connection to accumulated experience and knowledge. What might seem like a sudden enlightenment may actually stem from a sum of past experiences, stored in unconscious memory and recalled in a moment of need.

Artists, writers and innovators often talk about how intuition plays a crucial role in the creative process, suggesting unexpected solutions or opening the door

to new ideas.

However, intuition is not immune to error. Indeed, it can be influenced by biases, fears or distorted percep-tions. The practice of knowing how to listen requires discernment and critical awareness to prevent it from becoming a blind guide.

Nevertheless, it is also a valuable ally in our naviga-tion through the complexities of life.

Listening to the silent voice of inner wisdom can enrich our decisions, inspire creativity and guide us in ways beyond rationality.

In the age of analysis and logic, recognising the value of intuition is an invitation to connect with the depth of our innate wisdom.

Luck.

Ours or belonging to the cosmos?

It is evident that luck, fate and the quest toward self-discovery are synonyms.

Luck is like an enigma that permeates our existence, a concept that prompts us to reflect on the mysterious forces that shape the course of our lives.

Exploring this theme allows us to question its nature and the role it plays in our destiny.

Luck, or lack thereof, can manifest itself in various aspects of life, such as professional success, personal relationships or financial circumstances.

Sometimes we feel like puppets in the hands of fate, pushed without control through the various stages of life. Other times we believe instead that everyone’s des-tiny belongs to us and that luck is the result of our ac-tions.

An interesting aspect it possesses is its ephemer-al and changeable nature. What seems like a stroke of luck today may turn out to be a challenge tomorrow, and vice versa. This unpredictability adds a dimension of uncertainty to our existence, challenging us to navi-gate the changing waves of fate.

Luck can also be interpreted as the result of an in-tricate pattern of cause and effect, as the choices we make, the people we meet and the circumstances we face can converge in ways that lead us towards oppor-tunities or challenges. In this context, fate could be seen as the result of a series of interconnected events, rather than a random whim.

Laura Becucci

In this sense, while some attribute their success to sheer luck, others emphasise the crucial role of hard work, perseverance and carefully considered choices. This variety of perspectives suggests that luck can be in-terpreted in different ways depending on our perspec-tive of the world.

It should be pointed out, however, that luck should not be confused with equity. In many circumstances, success or failure can be influenced by systemic fac-tors, such as social inequalities, access to resources and available opportunities. Recognising these inequal-ities is essential to a complete understanding of luck, which continues to be a complex and debated concept. Whether it is the result of astral forces or an intricate web of circumstances is unknown, but what is certain is that its influence on our lives is indisputable.

Exploring luck therefore invites us to reflect on our perspectives, the actions we take and the complexity of destiny that unfolds in the course of our existence.

The angels are all here

All this adrenalin rush goes to our heads.

The sensations, the strong ones, push you towards a world made of sand... a gust of wind, from life, and it flies away as if it never existed.

It is like an almost total loss of permanent reality. Everything, in the end, has the purpose of existing in order for something greater to exist.

We lose ourselves in our self-created confusion, a continuum of pastimes and hobbies to compensate for the sense of emptiness that makes us feel so lacking. We self-recognise ourselves as the most evolved ani-mal on the planet, yet it seems to be quite the opposite, because evolution means greater adaptation to the ter-ritory in which we live, called survival, when instead human beings are consuming the Earth as if there were a second chance. That chance that makes us risk the en-tire meaning of this intriguing energy movement, and pastimes don’t seem to work.

We could listen more to our instinct, we could really be the most evolved animals.

When someone asks us what we did during the day, the answer is rarely relevant to the purpose of our pres-ence in the essence.

We have learnt self-defence while forgetting the col-lective one, and this has happened because politics is adept at turning people’s heads with the story of glo-balisation, making embarrassing missteps with wars... So are we nearly there?

We are close to the idealistic turning point and everything is going wrong, but right at the same time.

Who decides whether it is right or wrong? Basically no one, in practice those who make money and mind control us.

Adrenalin is like the accelerated beating of the heart in the face of the unknown, a concentration of energy that awakens the senses and pushes the body and mind beyond the boundaries of normality.

Exploring this theme allows us to reflect on the excit-ing role of adrenaline in our human experience.

Its concentration is often associated with situations of challenge or danger, when the body responds promptly to the need to react. In these moments, adrenalin acts like an accelerator, triggering a series of physical reac-tions that prepare the body to cope with the situation. The heart beats faster, the senses are heightened and we are ready to face what lies ahead.

A fascinating aspect of adrenalin is its ability to cre-ate memorable experiences. Activities such as extreme sports and adventures or personal challenges can trig-ger an adrenalin rush that results in intense excitement and a sense of vitality. These moments are often vividly remembered, becoming an integral part of our experi-ence.

Adrenaline is also a powerful emotional stimulant that can turn fear into excitement and routine into ad-venture. This physiological response to challenge is a necessary part of human evolution, a mechanism that helped our ancestors survive in dangerous environ-ments.

Athletes in disciplines like parachute jumping, big wave surfing or off-road snowboarding are driven by the search for that moment when adrenaline reaches its peak, giving them a feeling of freedom and power.
