The first chapter takes a closer look at the phenomenon of Afrofuturism. The following chapter introduces the film Black Panther. After a brief presentation of the film the focus will lie on the analyses of its female characters. The main part of the thesis is concerned with finding out how Afrofuturism interacts with Black feminist thoughts.
