Writing unconventionally with metaphors and images from nature to make it easier to learn how to absorb or resist another’s contagious emotions, I create a scenario allowing people to understand how emotions flow between us, and how different people handle them. It's a guide to harmonizing the currents of love, taking us through various ebbs and flows of intimate relationships, on the way to find joy in life's relational voyage. I chart a path through the dynamic seas of partnership to realizing true love. This fluid framework allows us to see that love can stream invisibly between us, enabling romantic relationships and intimate friendships to develop and flourish.
